Was a little sad to see the pizza place that was here is now gone, but this place make it worth it a million times over. Let me say holy s#!t! It's awesome. Fresh and delicious. Very knowledgeable staff who gave us an education on a lot of different foods before we ordered. Poki bowl with tuna and striped bass. Lots of vegetables that I can't pronounce and fruits too. I don't know what they were, but I enjoyed every bite. I ordered a regular size bowl for dinner and was very satisfied. Not sure why others feel the bowl is too small? So good. Not a lot of room for dining in, but worth going, even if you have to take it out to eat. A great find on Broadway. read more

I give this two stars because while I thought the food was terrific, the portions were relatively small. After a decent first experience I went back to grab a bite after work one evening to take home with me. One of the crew was standing out back smoking and although it wasn't yet 9 pm (it was 8:40 or 8:45)he told me that they were already closed. I made such a good decision when I decided to come here for lunch last week. I had a few Poke places to choose from in the area that all sounded good, but decided on this one, and now I won't be going anywhere else. The ingredients were all flavorful and fresh and generously portioned. Everyone working there was welcoming, knowledgeable about their food, and more than willing to help first timers get a feel for the menu and where the ingredients are from. All the fish is responsibly and sustainably sourced, and they make an effort to use local ingredients. The inside of the restaurant is small and clean and very cute. Wow! I was hesitant wondering what fish quality would be but this place is high quality, the owners pay attention to every detail- perfect cut to really high quality sushi grade fish, quality toppings, organic unique tasting greens. I will say we ordered a large and we're still a bit hungry but it's delicious and we will be back often. read more

I definitely went out of my comfort zone tonight. My wife and I wanted something different. We live down the road from Turtle Boat and drive past it all of the time. Needless to say, we didn't regret it. In fact, it was great! I was a little hesitant because I wasn't familiar with some of the ingredients. However, they were glad to answer my questions and provide recommendations. This will now be a normal stop for us instead of the same old places with the same old dishes. read more

Daaaang!! I have tried the fancy poke shops in California and NYC, and none of them compare to this. The attention to detail with the house-made sauces and seasoning is amazing. The local greens taste super good. And most of the fish is sustainably raised, which made me feel better about eating it. They even have a soy-free vegan protein alternative that they INVENTED! Like, what?! The workers are kind and it's reasonably priced, for what it is. Def try the wasab-amole. I can't wait to come back to Denver just to eat here :) read more

Turtle Boat may be one of the best poke establishments in the Denver metro area. It is very good food and excellent quality. The person I ordered from was very polite and knowledgeable about the food that was being served. I would like to see Turtle Boat participate in the Seafood Watch program that verifies that seafood establishments are responsibly sourcing their seafood. I think it would be beneficial program for the restaurant to participate in using since the Turtle Boat seems to pride itself on responsibly sourcing their food. read more
