Very clean and affordable. We needed a spot close to Tracy for the weekend and this was perfect

    Nice shady spot

We really enjoyed our week long vacation here. Our spot was perfect with plenty of shade. It was nice and quiet for the most part until a few campers showed up for the holiday weekend. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Camped overnight. Ended up camping next to a large loud group which is never pleasant. They were up and making noise til way past midnight. Got up early to find that the bathrooms had not yet opened up. They were supposed to open by 6:30 and maybe by 7:30 they got around to it. Folks were friendly and sites were spacious which was nice. Hook ups all working well. Beautiful location with a beach on the river. Quite nice.

An idea of what the campsite and area looks like

It's not the ABSOLUTE WORST but it's not the best either. It could have been mediocre but like everyone says on here the staff is pretty rough to put it mildly. Once you talk them off the ledge they are more accommodating but in general you definitely feel policed the ENTIRE time you are there. The biggest downfall is the lack of full hookups at every site. We had to disconnect every other day and conserve a lot to dump. However there is NO FEE TO DUMP ONSITE (another earlier review states there's a fee). Most sites don't have sewage hookups but they do have water and electricity. There is no cable but not an issue because why are we watching tv instead of visiting with each other while camping? We did not use WiFi-T-MOBILE has decent service so most data needed was capable form hot spots and phones. The private boat launch and separate area in the park to park your boat:trailer is a nice amenity but beware...LOTS of blue algae and blooms on the bottom and visible in the launch area especially. The first day we got algae wrapped around the prop so badly we had to remove the scoop grate to untangle it. Once on the river be careful of sand bars and shallow areas. There is also a visible homeless encampment under the train trussle that well...you just don't know what's being dumped into the water.

On our 4th visit here, think about that for a second. Why would someone stay some where over and over again? Let me tell you. Great location, Friendly Staff, and a Well Managed RV Park. Check in is easy. Pull up to the gate, stay in the right lane, and push the call button. A ranger will answer and drive over shortly to check you in and guide you to your site. Some things to know, this is a Thousand Trails park, You will be required to show ID, Proof of Insurance and Current registration. ( its a rule that all TT parks are susposed to follow ) Next Only half the sites are full hookup the other half are Water and Electric. If you are camping here the onsite Dump station is Free. (they do not have a honey wagon). You can ask to be put on a list to move to a full hookup site when one becomes available. Or youu can dry camp but why? Its that simple, Just show up get to your site and relax. And yea, some bad campers that have been problems have written bad reviews because they are just, well, BAD. Don't be bad, come camp here with a great group of great RV'rs.

Sunset on our walk of the river.

Turtle Beach is a great place! Everyone there is super nice including the permanent residents! All the bathrooms are clean including the portable ones! There is a clean beach like spot that leads to the San Joaquin river, and it's crystal clear! The park it well kept! They have camping and rv spots! With COVID it was super easy to check in and out! We were able to leave things outside even overnight. I would definitely recommend Turtle Beach if you want a peaceful non-city vacation but still hop skip and a jump to anything you will need!

Prices were actually reasonable, so we booked Sunday-Tuesday. Check-in lines were long, but the self-serve kiosk was quick and easy. We got wristbands for the room and water park and headed straight to the pool. It was packed Sunday around 5 p.m., which was expected, so we stayed a couple hours and went back to the room. Food inside the hotel was either closed or overpriced, but the location is great--about 0.5 miles from Panda Express, Chili's, Costco, La Estrella (amazing Mexican food), and more. We ate at Chili's. Parking is $20/day. You can use the water park from check-in day through checkout, which is awesome. My 11-year-old loved the Howlers Peak Ropes Course. My 7-year-old and I tried it, but he got scared at the top--staff helped him down right away. I don't blame him, it's high! I only did the first level, but my 11-year-old did the second level three times. My 7-year-old also loved the arcade. Most attractions cost extra, but there are decent deals. The only ones I wouldn't do again are mini golf and bowling--they're very small and just okay. We had the unlimited family pass, so we used them anyway. Best part: the slides! I'm 32 and my husband is 34, and we had just as much fun as the kids. Big or small, all the slides were a blast. Honestly, one of our favorite family vacations. The room (Grizzly Suite) was clean and spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. Beds weren't super comfortable, but that's typical. Cleanliness mattered most. Checkout was easy via text, but double-check your bill--they tried to charge us $60 for "missing" towels we returned. A quick call got it refunded, but I can see how others might miss that. Overall, we'll likely be back within the next year.

My bestie raved about this Great Wolf Lodge and her past visits with her family. We planned this…read moretrip on our kid's second week of Spring break and was hoping it would be quieter since we planned on going during the week. Easter weekend coming earlier this year I'm sure didn't help. We made the most of it. We booked a standard family suite for 3 nights. We added their breakfast club buffet for our time here and an unlimited eat and play package. The indoor Waterpark is included with your stay here. Our beds were comfortable, but the restrooms could use a vent and a deep clean about the shower itself. (See picture). I was emailed an offer to extend, bummed that when we tried calling the front desk. No one picked up and then we waited over 20 minutes to have an older lady working front desk that there was nothing left, so she's not sure why I got an email to extend. Room rates are cheaper when you book in advance or plan for longer stays, but overall we still spent a lot here. We should have just gone to Disneyland this time around. I like that it's convenient and they offer dining and booze on property, but like anywhere there's convenience; you pay the cost for that. We did everything we could possibly do with our kids here and they still spent most of their time at the arcade. The prizes and the ability to win more tickets were amazing. We were bummed our son wasn't more excited for the MagiQuest and the other activities offered on property. It was crowded everywhere we went here no matter what time of day it was. I recommend downloading their app to reserve tables, preorder food and drinks. We dined at their buffet for our breakfast club deal and they offered a little more than a continental breakfast with their omlet station. I made it a point to load up on protein and fiber. There weren't any employees that stuck out to me besides the gift shop ladies. They were actually friendly besides the guy that ran the buffet in the morning. Thank you. We enjoyed our trip here besides the crazy crowds. Our next trip we'll plan for an off season.

I purchased a 2023 Sun Tracker boat from Bass Pro Shops in Manteca and unfortunately my experience…read morehas been extremely disappointing from day one. The boat had ongoing issues immediately after purchase, and despite multiple attempts over several months to get them resolved, the problems were not properly addressed. After significant delays, the boat was finally inspected and a hole in the console was discovered, which was allowing water intrusion into the vessel. I brought the boat in for repair expecting a resolution, but when it was returned, the condition was actually worse. Components were loose, poorly fitted, and the overall workmanship was unacceptable. The original issue was not fully resolved, and additional problems appeared after their service work. At this time, Bass Pro Shops in Manteca still has possession of my boat, and I have been unable to get any clear communication or updates despite multiple attempts to follow up. My calls are not being returned, and I'm being left without answers or a timeline for resolution. To make matters worse, the warranty service department has stated that the issue is not their responsibility and that it falls on the dealer, who they believe caused the damage during service. I am now stuck in the middle with no one taking responsibility, no repair progress, and no clear path forward, which has been extremely frustrating and concerning given the cost and seriousness of the purchase. At this point, I am extremely concerned about the quality control and service standards. For a major purchase like a boat, I expected far better support and accountability. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves how warranty and repair cases are handled for customers.
