"Black owned Business week alert" A special shout out to Niyoola who has been working here for a long time now! Each time, I have come here for my incense, Niyoola has been nothing but very nice, and professional! Niyoola and I discuss how we have seen black businesses in this row, come and thrive and some that don't make it which breaks my heart! I really wish that more humans would support small businesses and help them to grow because most of them have great products! These black businesses are professional and there is no odd behavior ourside of these premises, which makes you feel safe going into them. Respectful community for sure!!! In this case, I personally don't feel as if, this row of black owned businesses are advertised enough! There's also room to add more businesses on this row! Hey Barbershops. Laundromats with a bar inside of it, popcorn and candy shops, ice cream shop, beauty shops, wedding stores, tuxedo stores, shoe stores, nail shops.... there's room! We went here during it's first Fridays events of black owned businesses and had a great time checking out the many vendors on the street as well as, inside of their brick and mortar. Thanks to this store, for keeping hope alive for other black owned businesses that could join this lineup! I hope and pray that they stick around for many more years selling their products! There's plenty of parking up, down and around the streets. The best time is all of the time! Niyoola deserves all great things headed her way, as well as, a raise and 7 months paid vacation. Yes, I recommend you to go here, go out of your way to go here! Please support all small businesses

Looks like a small shop from the outside but it's much bigger than you would expect and includes a full on art gallery of local artists work that you can purchase. Now back to the fun stuff. Creative gifts from candles, cards, trinkets that are fun. Along with hand made body care items. I'm in love with the body scrubs. Lulu sells her delicious treats she makes daily. Now that I have been back a few times I have tried a variety of items from cupcakes, gingerbread, gingerbread cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, spicy lime pretzels and the list goes on. All nicely wrapped to make nice gifts. Well that is if they can make it that far because her treats are soooo good. Everyone in the store including Lula are a pleasure to be around. Service with a friendly smile.
