Popped in on my way home with the intention of "just looking." Left with two books. So much for that. Small, clean, and well-organized shop with a calm, good vibe -- not overwhelming at all. The woman working there was very kind and let me wander without any pressure (major bonus). I thought I knew my stones, but they had a few I'd never seen before and was definitely intrigued. Today was not the day for new crystal friendships... but I may be back if they're still there. Limited incense selection, solid colored candle options, plenty of stones at reasonable prices. I had a great experience at Phoenix Rising! I was able to grab a few crystals that were hard to find and at a very reasonable price especially compared to the prices I've been getting in Los Angeles. What I liked most was the place had very good energy and the woman working there was very kind and knowledgeable! This shop is conveniently located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. The prices overall were very fair and there was a large variety of beautiful choices. As tourists to the area the shop felt like more of a place for locals than tourists. I don't think the shop owner even said "hi" when we walked in and it didn't express a "fun" atmosphere; just basic and your local place to pick up your crystals of choice. Lots of small stones and large to expand on your collections and also a large variety of stones on pendants which is great if you're looking for ones that are ready to wear. So glad to find a crystal shop in Phoenix! I normally get my crystals in Sedona because I love the energy of the land there, but I felt welcomed and good energy coming to this place. They have a variety of crystals, and incenses, and many other spiritual tools that are a variety of prices. I came to buy crystals for my clients and was able to find some that ranged from $3-5. They have crystals for $1 but they were really tiny. I will say one thing I wish they provided is those cards that have a little info about each crystal so you can take it to go. AMAZING PLACE! This place is so very welcoming! First time in, was today. Found myself struggling today something awful and sadness was overwhelming me horribly and somehow, something brought me here to this little magical shop. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by the most warm and welcoming gentlemen! I let him know my struggle, although I probably didn't have to, I have a feeling he already knew or shortly after me speaking he could feel it. He pointed in me in the direction of the rose quartz and said it didn't need to fancy or expensive, I'd benefit from wearing a rose quartz pendant. The 2nd stone I saw spoke to me and without hesitation I grabbed it. We both noted it was perfect and a rose quartz angel nonetheless! The man could already see weight being lifted from me and as I took a deep breath and told him I was going to be alright, he told me you're going to be just fine, you are okay and you'll be better than ok! I was instructed to wear my new rose quartz angel pendant just between my breast at my hearts chakra and beneath my clothing so that it touches my body. I'm still kind of new to the New Age/Eastern/Spiritual healing arts. So, I'm quite surprised by how accurate the AURA READING & REPORT ($40) turned out and how much better I felt after the 30 min AURA CLEANSING session ($50). The couple who operates this business are outstanding human beings! They go above & beyond, and are intuitives. I went in today b/c I've been feeling really "off" and quite sluggish-borderline depressed. This and other characteristics about my personality (that Felipa would not have known about me) showed in the reading/report. Furthermore, everything in the aura report parallels both a professional numerology and Mayan sign report I paid for recently from separate online vendors. After she printed the report, I spent 30 mins in the crystal healing room. The room was dimly lit and had giant crystals strategically placed in the room all around a comfortable massage table that had an Amethyst Far-infrared Bio Mat laying on top. (Ask her to crank it up!) Smaller crystals personalized to my issues were placed next to and on top of my body in strategic areas. Felipa used a Tibetan singing bowl and bells and said some things about relaxing, re-balancing, and releasing negativity. Then she left the room soon after. I nearly fell asleep! After, I purchased clear quartz crystal and White Selenite mineral from the crystal shop. I wish I could have purchased more crystals but I'm on a budget! They have crystals, metals, and stones in many different sizes, from pebbles to giant-sized chunks. They even have a selection of jewelry. Update: 01/19/2016: I had a 2nd Aura Cleansing session today (fell asleep again) and purchased an AURA PHOTO ($20). I'd say it's pretty accurate based upon my feelings and the blocked sound the Tibetan music bowls made when over the R-side of my body. I compared my aura photo to a photo she has on the wall behind the register, and its aura colors vary distinctly from mine. I don't think this is a hoax since different people yield different aura color combos...and it correlates to the Aura Cleansing (done first), my personality, and how I feel. For best results, wear a WHITE top, so you can see better the color in the photo. 01/30/2016: I did my 3rd Aura Cleansing today and feel even better. She says she can hear the difference in the Tibetan Singing Bowl assessment of blockages. I've been feeling better and more positive the last 10 days and immediately after my sessions. I purchased some more, small crystals today and copper, too. I can't wait until I can afford the giant crystals and minerals! That will be the day! 2/13/16: I purchased a new Aura Photo and had fun comparing it to my first one noting changes in colors and their concentrations. Mine are mostly pastels and white. My friend got hers for the 1st time it was awash with red. That suits her personality and life circumstance at this time. She is a "double fire" Aries. 3/14/2016: My newest Aura Photo is awash in bright yellow-green! This represents massive healing, growth, peacefulness, love, compassion, & nature. 3/18/2016: Latest Aura Photo shows 3 distinct sections of color in orange, green, and yellow all outlined in red. I also have 3 mysterious white orbs above me, which are angels. 7/3/2016: More aura photos, crystals, flower essences, and energy healings later...and doing better. This sh** is real! I'm a believer. The couple that own this shop are exactly who you want to see when going into a place like this. They were so sweet, down to earth, and honest. Originally thought I needed a chakra alignment, but they suggested I try the meditation room instead. It was cheaper, and after experiencing it, so glad I went along with their recommendation! The only metaphysical store i actually felt comfortable going to. Im not all that into the new age stuff but i just appreciate the crystals. Alot of the owners from the other stores are nice... but they give me an eerie vibe. The store owner, Felipa, is genuinely warm and sweet. She saw how much i liked 2 of their Fluorite wand crystals and gave me the ok when i asked for a discount.... even though i feel like the price was already super reasonable to begin with.
