Sonia along with her kids and the many volunteers that come together to put these awesome bags together for children ranging from infant to teens that are suddenly taken out of their homes without any warning. They are donation based and so with that they are always in need of clothing, toiletries, coloring books, things that are both a necessity & then that small item that might be able to give a child a bit of comfort in a traumatizing time. I had the pleasure of putting together a donation collection through my office last year, the picture I posted does not even do justice as that box was packed... We had such an outpouring of support and it goes for such a wonderful cause. A year round organization , they can always use volunteers to help put the bags together and Sonia along with her family are a joy to work with.

Food Share is such an important resource and lifeline to Ventura County! The staff at the…read moredistribution center truly care about their mission, and it definitely shows through their actions. At a former job of mine, Food Share allowed the educational non-profit organization I worked for to shop weekly for fresh produce to distribute directly to elementary school students and families served in need, many of whom struggled with food insecurity. This partnership was vital, and very much appreciated by all because it helped improve food access throughout our community at wellness fairs and nutrition classes. Thank you for your hard work! I will never forget about the huge difference Food Share continues to make in countless lives throughout Ventura County, and the value they place on equity.

I saw a Cuisinart ice cream maker here and contemplated getting it but I knew I had an attachment for my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for ice cream making at home so I left it on the shelf. Well, I made ice cream the next day and my Kithchen Aid bowl cracked. I decided to go back here the next day and see if the ice cream maker was still there. It was! $14.99 and makes great ice cream! They check the electronics before putting it on the floor but they still plugged it in for me at the cash register so that I could see it works. There are no refunds but they will do exchanges within 7 days for equal or lesser price if you keep the Goodwill price tag on.

It was such a bad experience. The doctor had no bed side manners and I felt like a baby factory, very cold- matter of fact and just another woman having a baby.
