We were greeted warmly by the receptionist who, since there were no other gentleman booked in at the same time, offered the men locker room to us exclusively. The room itself has a sauna, shower, and all the other things one ought to have when getting a massage. Our therapists, Patty and Emili, guided us to the couples massage room and made sure we were comfortable, a menu was provided with added treatments (next time I will take my reading glasses with me). The 90 minutes passed by in a flash and I apparently fell asleep at some point. Great experience, we are going to be back in the area for Christmas and I suspect we will return.

The spa has lost some wonderful people over the years, and we all know, the people providing the service are the ones who make a business special. Kelsey was so welcoming at the front desk and cheerful, kind and sincere. Audrey was probably one of the most skilled massage therapist I have ever received services from. Krystina was amazing giving the most relaxing pedicure. Allie had the most creative eye and style with brow shaping. Jamie was so cheerful and patient with our daughter for her pedicures, we were thrilled to meet her. Those are the staff I/we had services with, NOW THEY ARE ALL GONE! I don't think the owner could possibly realize what a valuable team was there. Why did they leave? I am quite sure, not all were retiring. One could speculate management pushed them away somehow. My second disappointment in this spa is concerning the products. I would purchase a skin cream, lip stick, or shampoo, absolutely love it, only to go back when I was running low, to find it discontinued. What kind of successful marketing could that be? I stopped buying products there and purchased them directly from the vendors . The icing on the cake...... the prices just sky rocketed almost 20%!!! A pedicure was $55.00, now it is $65.00. Why? Cost of Living raises are genuinely 3%. Something has changed over the years, perhaps the owner is more concerned with the profit margin and less concerned about the clients. Either way, tomorrow will end my services there, and I will be looking for something more customer oriented, and less money in the owners pocket.

When I went to have my hair done it was past my shoulders. I explained I did not want a lot off lengthwise. I wanted it just to have it rest on my shoulders. I brought a picture of what I wanted done. She cut the back of my hair wet then said she was going to dry it and cut the top. She turned me from the mirror in my chair and proceeded to cut my hair. When she turned me back around I was mortified it was all choppy like a little kid cut my hair with a pair of school scissors. I emailed the salon and explained I was going to be traveling back home to South Carolina the next morning and that I thought the right thing for them to do is have another well seasoned hair stylist fix my hair. When I reached out to them it was before they opened. They read my email and chose not respond. I emailed them again after having my hair redone by a different salon. I explained nicely how the hair salon I went to said my hair was so uneven and they could only even it and suggested I let it grow out because one side of my hair is cut off at a angle in the front so only way to fix is let it grow out. Also was told I need to recolor my hair as the color she had done did not take.As she did not leave my color on long enough.
