Selection 5/5 This location is a premium inventory store for most categories of items for sale. Furnishings are higher end quality and in some cases on the pricey side but still a a great value! Service 5/5 We didn't find or consign anything but staff here was friendly did ask if we needed anything help. I thought about this consignment store as I was driving north on Scottsdale Road. Just then the store came into view so I stopped to check out the treasures. A big sale on green tags today; 70% off! If you're willing to go through the rack to look for these tags, it is definitely worth your trouble. I saw one brand name bag with a mark down tag on it. I showed good will power and resisted purchasing it. They have their own parking lot. read more

I moved here from Chicago last year, and around xmas time I bought my daughters and myself gift cards. We went to use those cards in march and were told they were past due. I loved the store until this happened, I spent a lot of money on those cards and when I asked for an extension because I had no idea they were time sensitive, I was told 'we can't do that, we've been doing the gift card for years and you're to read the fine print that tells of the time sensitively. I even wrote to another person in MN to ask for assistance or some relief from my investment. i think the store needs to improve their customer service and retention. we all needed consignment furniture moving from chicago, and my working teacher and nurse daughters could have benefited as well. The store really turned me off to ever being a customer. read more

I had to stop coming to this place to buy and sell because it always smells like cigarettes and farts and the staff is rude.

What can I say even though I do work there its the only place have I shop because I know firsthand can't find anywhere else the prices they have and the quality!!! I love my coworkers and customers always make me happy and smile. read more

I've always shopped consignment but never consigned. They made it very easy to consign-took most of my stuff and some of my husbands that we otherwise would have given to a for-profit thrift store and I was pleased as punch that I had $30 in my account after a few weeks with still more to sell. I don't expect to get rich off of it but it's a great way to turn over some of my clothes and get some new stuff. My husband has been talking about a workout shirt that he wanted at the golf course, but they didn't have his size. I walked into turnstyle that afternoon after calling and hearing about my balance, went to the men's section, and there was the shirt exact one (peter millar) in his exact size. Turn Style Consignment is one of my absolute favorite new discoveries. My partner and I make a visit every week or so just to check out the new offerings. Just like any other store, some days are a bust but most days we find something new we love! They've got everything you'd need like furniture, home decor, kitchen dishes and appliances, clothes, shoes, etc. And the best part is everything is reasonably priced! I have a trunk full of quality designer items I'm trying to sell. Called Turnstyle to ask a simple question, 'do they buy pieces here or is it solely consignment?' When I called the rude sales lady barked "PLEASE HOLD!" before I could mutter good afternoon. Sat on the phone for nearly 15 minutes to ask my 10 second question before giving up. This isn't a bank, it's not a courthouse, I don't need to sit on the phone for 15 minutes for a simple question. Your job is customer service show the customer some service. Clearly I was forgotten, wasted 15 mins of my day, I took 3min more to write this review and now you're all forgotten. Shrug. Plenty of better consignments in the valley, Plato's, Urban Exchange, my sisters closet. Better off trying the other consignments, if this is how Turnstyle treats you on the phone imagine how they've been had I went in. read more

This store is fantastic to buy anything from clothing to furniture to shoes and purses however, I would not recommend selling to them unless you really need to get rid of some thing before you donate it. I've been here several times and have never found the customer service very good. The employees lack any friendliness. I was there today and wanted to buy a couple of lamps. When I went to purchase them the total was approximately $30. I handed the sales clerk $100 bill and she immediately snapped (very rudely) "we don't have change for that!" It was 5 o'clock in the afternoon and they have at least two cash registers (I actually think there are three or four registers but I know for sure at least two) The plausibility of them not being able to make $60 in change was very unlikely. She then snapped "don't you have Apple Pay?" Whether or not I have Apple Pay is none of her business and I was paying cash for a reason. So I went to my car to see if I could find some smaller bills. I found enough to purchase just one of the lamps and went back in to purchase it. When I got home, I was hoping that the one lamp would suffice for the space I needed it in. It does not. I definitely needed the two lamps. The store is 30 minutes away from where I live so I will have to go back up there tomorrow to grab the other one and hope that it is still there. This whole exchange would not be such a big deal if not for how rude this sales associate was. Her tone and attitude was appalling. Terrible representation for any business. read more

Stopped in on Saturday to drop off about ten items and because i did not have an appt , she wouldn't take me. Even though no one was there and attendant was not busy. I was very pleased at the selection at this store, I was also pleased that I could try on clothing. They were having an Easter sale so everything was 30% off, what a cool bonus! I found lots of Cabi and J Crew, favorite brands for sure. I also picked up a sweet pair sandals. It was a busy Saturday, but an employee helped me make a stack of clothing behind the counter to hold and the cashier that checked me out was very friendly. I was tempted by some things on the furniture side but nothing that would fit easily into my suitcase, bummer! This is a very large store, prepare yourself to spend some time digging. I bought a $20.00 sandwich maker at Turn Style in Scottsdale. Looked new from the box and wrappings inside. Got it home and noticed a horrible smell after I took the plastic off. Rotten food and greases all over the inside and grease tray was full of moldy cheese. I called Turn Style and asked to talk to the manage. She said bring it back for a refund. So I drive all the way from South Mountain to Scottsdale return this disgusting mold filled item. When I get to the counter I'm told I can only get a store credit. I was also informed that they don't always have the time to checkout every item brought in. Was it really worth the bad rereview not to refund my money? So now I have a $20.00 store credit to a store I really don't want to go into ever again. Bad business. Too bad I had to give this store even one star. read more

Yesterday I went to the store to bring some items to consign. Arrived about noon and a handwritten sign on the door said they had reached their quota of clothing for the day and would only accept household goods. The last time I went there was on a Thursday and unbeknownst to me a handwritten sign on the door said they only do consignment appointments on Thursdays, apparently a new policy. It doesn't seem like a good way to run a business. Maybe all of their consignments should be by appointment to save all the frustrations and bad reviews from customers. read more

For consignment, they are particular on the items they accept but the items sell fast if it's in great condition. Of all the resale stores in Arizona, this is my favorite! And I love the staff at the scottsdale location for their hard work, dedication, fair pricing and kindness. They all go above and beyond to help the clients find what they are looking for and treat us with respect. The store is very well organized and inventory changes daily. True , employees are short with customers and plain rude and the way they do things now with their strict rules I guarantee they are taking a humongous loss because I and other people are just saying heck with his all and taking all our stuff to good wills and salvation armies. I consigned a number of things here on 3 different occasions. Picked up my check today and these are less than garage sale prices! I seriously could have gotten more at a garage sale! I brought in a single place setting of vintage china to see if they would accept the complete set for consignment. They said they don't generally accept vintage but they would take it, to bring in the complete set. When I brought it in, I was told "sorry, no." What a waste of my time... I was very frustrated and angry. If they say they will accept an item(s), they should live up to what they commit to. The set is in close to perfect condition. I was told "no guarantees." Have no idea what they are doing with men's clothes. I saw nothing but old, worn, and low price point labels out on the floor but then they rejected all my Ralph Lauren Polo, Boss and Brooks Brothers clothes that were in fine condition. I don't think they are familiar with the men's stuff. I took all my stuff and threw it in a goodwill store bin. read more
