I miss the Cherry Cookies and the peanut butter brownies and whoopie pies and the blueberry donuts and their chocolate peanut butter cakes! Skip the Pizza, it's not great, maybe it's just an acquired taste of Berwick Natives that go wild for it (My dad grew up in Berwick, he, nor I acquired that taste). But, the bakery, wow!

I guess I dont like Old Forge style?.. As far as clerks go, the person who took my order seemed bothered by the fact I wanted to wait in the bakery for the pizza and not my car.. Tried a filled donut and cookie. They were just ok. No need to drive there again.

These people make something called pierogies, a local ethnic favorite consisting of dough-encased mashed potatoes and cheese, that is marketed nationwide. They also sell a version which claims to have bacon and sour cream, among other great ingredients. We've bought these several times, yet the ones we're getting contain neither bacon nor sour cream. A letter to the company attesting to this anomaly was ignored, save for a coupon for a free package and an insulting, boiler-plate form reply which did not address our concern. Besides the increasing lack of customer service in America, is the obligation to read and respond to customer inquiries also going the way of fender skirts and high-button shoes?

My wife has become addicted to Mrs T's Perogies. I don't know how it happened but here we are. I am…read moreout at Publix at least once a week buying these potato and cheese filled pockets for her and bringing them home. I'd seen the commercials and thought they were harmless enough. They're just like ravioli but different. How could that go wrong? Well, our freezer is now regularly filled with boxes of Mrs. T's that my wife pan fries with a little olive oil and then serves with chopped onion and chopped tomato with perhaps some balsamic oil drizzle. She says it's delicious and I agree though so far, my keto diet has kept me from eating more than one or two. Is there a Perogies Anonymous program? My son in particular just couldn't stop laughing when he saw a full-sized chocolate chicken! Dream of a chocolate design and you can probably find it here. Staff was so incredibly friendly, sharing recommendations on what to buy as well as chocolate creations to come for other holidays like Valentine's Day with fresh strawberries dipped each morning into chocolate. And the many great chocolate treats for Christmas. The ambiance of the shop is very cozy with even a big window in the back where you can watch chocolatiers make chocolate creations in real time. It was reasonably priced to ensure the big order of chocolate we bought would make it home back to Washington, DC without turning into a big melted chocolate blob.
