Best alignment people around. Plus they are significantly better value than anyone else in the business.

Charron's Auto Repair

I'm from St. Louis and traveling to Madison, WI weekly for work. My car broke down right outside…read moreLincoln IL on 55N (3 hours from home). The dealership that was the closest wasn't able to get it in for a week. I googled auto repair shop Lincoln IL to see what was available and Charron's came up. Of course I was nervous due to the fact that I am not great with car repair and had my lifelong mechanic back home plus I did not know the reputation of any repair shop in/around Lincoln. Pat and Carol are wonderful. They answered my questions, were very accomodating, and even offered to look up numbers of other auto shops nearby for me since they were not able to get my car in that day (they were able to get it in the next day which was fine). They worked with my warranty company even though the warranty company did not want to work with them. I could just go on all day about them and how wonderful a business they run. It was very refreshing considering the type of treatment you usually get with corporate auto repair shops. They made a very stressful situation much less stressful. For that I am grateful. I would more than recommend Charron's to anyone who happens to break down near Lincoln IL or live in Lincoln IL. :). Oh.. and they also have a very nice waiting room and wifi.

They have fair prices but more importantly they are trustworthy. After looking at it a driving the truck he told me it was a bad tire, and he was correct. That means a lot to me and I have given him all of my business after that interaction.

My cousin asked me if I could drive their Chevy Camaro over here to get the back tires replaced. The tires were a special order and he had been notified that they had just come in. So of course I was more than happy to help out (did I mention it's a Camaro SS, ha!). I arrived at 8:30. The employee who checked me in was friendly and professional. He took my information and the keys to my car. Within 10 minutes they had the car in one of their work bays starting on the tire replacements. The waiting area was clean, consisting of 8 chairs in a "U" arrangement facing an HDTV. The showroom displayed the various tires they carried which included Michelin, Yokohama, Firestone, Uniroyal, and BF Goodrich - a nice selection and great quality tires. 30 minutes later the car was done, paperwork complete, keys returned, and I was back on the road. The bald tires had been replaced and the new BF Goodrich 275/40R20's tires looked and rode great (not to mention the safety factor). If you're in the market for new tires, I would recommend you check this place out.
