The place and decor are quite cozy with warm and slightly dim lighting and some screens to watch a game or two. The tables can hold a good amount of people and even incentivize strangers to share some space. They have geeks who drink trivia on Wednesdays, by the way! The servers were quite attentive and fast. I think the manager was helped us first with our drinks. He was quite attentive. He sent another server for our food order. The other guy took our orders without notes and even remembering substitutions. The food was out in no time. Our drinks were decent with the blue berry açaí cider (the blackberry cider was too dry) and one of our friends had an IPA. I had the turkey pesto, the hubby had the Nashville hot fried chicken, and our friends had the Boese and the Cali burgers. The turkey pesto had a decent amount of turkey, but needed more pesto. The Nashville hot chicken was tangy more than hot, but it had a good flavor and on the drier end. Our friends described their burgers as ok. The fries were also ok. Overall, the ambiance and service were excellent providing a chill and friendly place to talk. The food and drinks were decent.

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

We were pleasantly surprised…read morewith this little gem and found that the place was really busy on a weekday at lunch which seems to be more and more rare these days. The prices seemed reasonable and on par with other places, if not a bit less and the selection was pretty impressive- it was hard to decide what to order! The interior decor is also really nice with the High Desert vibes you would expect from the name. We each had one of the specialty burgers (Valley burger and I forget the name of the other one). They were both very tasty and the portions were generous. They have amazing fries- both the regular and sweet potato. Service was great (it was so busy we had to sit at the bar since we were in a little bit of a hurry). We plan to add this place to our rotation as there is a ton of selection that looks amazing and they have a pretty decent looking happy hour food & drink specials too. I couldn't get a good look at all the taps but that selection also seemed to be pretty impressive compared to what you see elsewhere. A good first impression and am looking forward to checking out more of the menu!

I sat a brief while at the bar before being greeted and later served a "Sandia Sunset" (watermelon, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine) made with vodka (around $12). The views were nice of both the city lights and the silhouettes of the Sandia Mountains. The bar was chic. By all accounts, this place seems to be not a chain and not a franchise either, Brian G. (per your review from 12.14.2025), but an independently-founded and owned bar. When I explored the patio, it was quite windy that night, but I thought I could handle a few swigs next to the smokeless fire pits. Several seating arrangements I went to each had dirty dishes. I didn't like the crowd vibe inside so I just took my drink to my room. I'd definitely visit again, but hopefully next time hand-in-hand with a particular tall dark handsome man.

This time was no different in terms of our server's attention, personality, efficiency, and overall demeanor. V ~ was great and thank you! I am personally giving 3 stars for this bar/restaurant for 2 reasons: 1) the online menu is not updated with prices - I will delve into this more in a minute, and 2) kitchen service was slower than expected. Here is a link to their menu online: https://drive.google.com/file/d/148CplSivVBTXmrWlSO46WytoWdpd0REA/view I got the hard seltzer which was supposed to be $7 but I ended up paying $10 for a can of seltzer. Got 2 and the total without tip with tax was over $21. Seriously! that is friggin outrageous. I would have gotten wine if I wanted to spend that much. TRULY HARD SELTZER | 7 Hard Seltzer | 5.0% ABV Secondly, 7 out of 8 of us ordered food and 1 person had to ask for her crostini 3 or 4 times. Our lovely server did take it off of her check but nontheless, we were all done eating by the time she got her food and she was so gracious about it. Another thing: why can't I make a reservation in advance for a group of more than 4 when the place was clearly not busy at 4 pm on a Tuesday? We make 3 separate reservations for 4 people. This is a social group, and we meetup via MEETUP weekly. People will RSVP and then cancel. We had 12 coming and then 8 showed up. I am not certain we will resturn.
