We had to have a respray for the amount of crabgrass and nutsedge that had come up. Hunter # 142022 was our technican who performed the respray and he did a fantastic job! He was very through in going through the whole yard and even doubled up on weeds that survived the previous application. He explained what he was applying and was very careful to avoid damaging any of our ground plants as he worked his way across the lawn. He was extremely polite and answered all my questions. Turf Masters charged my credit card for an aeration and seeding that they did not do. When questioned, they told me that there was an equipment failure that day, which is not true, because I was never contacted to flag my sprinkler heads. I called and asked when they were going to get grass growing in that area and they said "We don't do grass you'll have to put down sod." I said "What do you mean you don't do grass? We had Turf Masters last year. After service ended, they sent me many emails about deals for this year. I never responded. They went and did a service while I was out of town. They sent me a bill for $168.00. I emailed back and said I didn't want their service. They have now sent the $168 bill to collections. This is a service I did not ask for. This is a shoddy business. Stay away from Turf Masters. I also have their service at my company through my grass-cutting company. One time, the guy came there and didn't get out of the truck except to place the sign. If I could give negative stars I would. My yard looks horrible since they took over for another company. More weeds then ever and what they use NEVER works! I am convinced they are just putting colored water or highly diluted supply down. I watched them from my house blow thru some of the yard and skip the largest part. They would say they knocked on my door and never did. I work from home so I know. After repeatedly complaining that what they use isn't working they said they would come back at no charge and spot treat. I waited, reached out and then they told me I should dig up the weeds. RUN... I think the service is ok. It's fairly expensive for the results I am seeing. I am a little frustrated that they aerated and overseeded in August in TN. I have never seen anyone recommend or do that. Mostly overseeding is done in the fall. When I complained they told me just to water it heavy. Now I am overseeding myself. Not a great response in my opinion. read more

Absolutely terrible. Started using TM a year ago on our Zoysia lawn as they were supposedly an expert with this grass. The grass looked 100% better BEFORE using TM. Became concerned when we saw a guy come out a few months ago and spend no more than 5 minutes on our 1/2 acre yard. The results are now obvious. Weeds, dead patches etc. Probably didn't help that they did 2 applications of growth regulator by mistake. Would never recommend. read more

Horrible service. They don't spray for weeds. They are supposed to do it with each treatment, but they never do unless I call and complain and then only maybe once a year. They haven't sprayed at all for weeds this year and I've been calling for almost 2 weeks and they said they put me on "Priority", whatever that means. I got quotes from 3 local lawn-care companies for our yard. I told all 3 thank you for their quotes and I would be in contact. They all said thank you, however, Turfmasters proceed to message me the next 3 days. I politely told him that we had decided to try a different company but would reach out if things didn't work out. Worst service I have ever paid for. I wish we could get a refund of the money we paid for this service. When we moved into our home it was new construction with new grass. Not many weeds. I was told by the company, when they stopped by, that they could get grass growing for us without us having to seed, that they would do it for us( this was in march/April 2017) fast forward to now (almost October 2017) still no grass, more weeds than we had ever had, our yard looks so much worse than it did before this service. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!! I have paid for a service that has not been done properly, I was lied to, and it's not until now that I have started doing the yard work (paying even more money for seed, fertilizer, weed killer, on top of the fee that I pad for the company to come take care of our yard that was a waste) we finally have grass growing. read more

We've been with them for years but that just ended. Constant turnover and this new crew doesn't care. We paid nearly $200 for aeration and overseeding as we have the last few years. We watered daily, except for the days we had solid rains and, weeks later, not a single seed has sprouted. I called and got a guy just saying over and over that they couldn't refund because they "provided you a service." He also refused to listen when I said we watered. I told him 8x and he pushed back again "we did our part and are not in control of those who don't water." He even claimed that we told him we let it dry out. Nope. Didn't happen. We have used turf masters of Nashville for quite some time. They are a very dependable service you can rely on. We use their weed control service. The product they use is very gentle on the grass but it kills the weeds very effectively. Recently I saw some weeds growing near the edge of lawn meeting the concrete drive way. I left them a feed back about that and a few days later they came and sprayed those areas free of charge!! They have great service , they know how to take good care of their customers and in my opinion are the real expert when it comes to taking care of your lawn. Highly recommend them!!! read more

The representatives at this company are completely incompetent. After disputing a charge for service, I was told that my account was under review and that I would be contacted. Subsequently, I was never contacted and they sent to my $46 bill to collections. $46 dollars!!! Additionally, I find out that my account was sent to collections six months ago, without my knowledge.
