I recently had some major storm damage on several of my trees that were over 150 years old. A young man came to my door and politely asked if he could have his father give me an estimate to remove the major limbs that were blocking my drive & I told him to proceed with the estimate. They returned the following day with the estimate which included removing the downed limbs and clean up which they were able to accomplish with a crew of 6 men that afternoon and the following morning for the price we had agreed on plus some additional trimming of low canopy of several trees that were potential issues for my 200 year old home and vehicles. The owner and supervisor remained on the premises until the job was completed and their employees were professional and polite. I highly recommend them (BTW- they also cleaned my gutters). read more

Greenway came and successfully removed a large tree that had tipped over in one of the storms we had recently. Did a good job on that part despite the fact that their Bobcat destroyed the yard which was to be expected. My issue is that they never came back to finish trimming a large holly tree and left all the broken branches there for me to deal with. They also impregnated a brand new road surface with Bobcat mud that TDOT was not happy about, said they were going to come back and try to power wash it but again never did. Their young rep was all about wanting our business which we gave them, unfortunately we didn't get a complete job. I won't be calling them again. read more

I'm just outside of Murfreesboro. I had a couple of large pines that needed to come down, but my husband was reluctant to hire someone because of what it might cost. Greenway was doing work close by and I approached them and talked to Francisco for an estimate, it was very reasonable. So much so, my husband agreed to hire them. They did an excellent job, even grinding the stumps down and cleaning up the debris. Only thing I had to do was get a couple bags of fill dirt to to even out the divots where the stumps were ground up, and the add some grass! I am so glad to be rid of those trees! read more

My husband and I hired Greenway Tree Service to install a root barrier, trim trees in our front yard, and remove trees stumps in our backyard from bushes that died in the freeze last year. I gave a five star review on Google because we were pleased with the work that was done. My husband discovered that the work crew failed to remove one of the tree stumps. We have called Omar several times, but he doesn't return the call. He told my husband a month ago that he was out of town and he would contact us when he returned. We paid a total of $4185.48 for the job that was done. All we are asking is that Omar makes it right and remove the stump that they were paid to remove. It's very unprofessional to ignore our calls and not make any effort to rectify the situation. Omar was very responsive when he was initially hired. We planned on hiring Greenway again to finish the rest of our backyard. read more

I hired a Greenway crew to cut and curb the trees and branches I lost to the ice storm that hit the Hill Country on 1 & 2 February. They did that, but I also was promised that they would cut and stack the hardwoods for fireplace and BBQ because I lost several big oak branches. That didn't happen, and when I texted their set-up guy that evening about it, he never replied. Their small excavator also made a mess of the yard, which was very soggy that morning. Why didn't the crew of about six men move the debris instead? If you hire Greenway, be sure to have EVERYTHING in the contract and to stay on site. read more

poor work got a truck and a track hoe stuck in my yard rutted up lawn left trash and tools did not finish job that was paid for would not use them again. also caught them trying to steal from me. I have empty water bottles and tree limbs to clean up. read more

Initially Jose Sierra's response to my request for a quote to install reticulation was fast and he showed up on time to provide a quote which then included tree work also. When I didn't accept the quote he dropped his price and I decided to go ahead with the reticulation install and tree work. Jose and his crew showed up a day late and without any communication. They started the reticulation install by digging the trenches and installing some pipe and left some parts to continue the work. I was assuming this would continue the following day, boy was I wrong. I tried numerous times over the following week and was not able to get a hold of Jose. He finally contracted me and told me he would come the following day. Wrong again. He then showed up the following day and started the tree work. Later that day the remainder of his crew arrived and recommenced reticulation install which they cam back and finished install of the following day. He was supposed to also bring a stump grinder back to grind one stump that was included in the quote. This never happened. The reticulation was completed and Jose told me he would come back and grind the stump and also supply the wireless module for the Rain Bird controller. This never happened. He also stated in his quote that he would provide one service of the reticulation system after one year. I recently sent an email to Jose, providing him an opportunity to return and complete the job I paid for and perform the service. However, as usual, silence!! The tree work was good however he didn't finish the work by grinding the stump. The reticulation job substandard, a lot of sprinkler heads left well above ground and he never supplied the Rain Bird wireless module as stated in the quote. Communication was crap unless he wanted something. I will never do business with this company again and I will never recommend him for any work. He cannot be trusted!! And for anyone thinking of using this guy, stay well clear even if he drops pricing to entice you. read more

I work in the service industry and am usually reluctant to post negative reviews. I know that it isn't easy to do good work and leave your customers satisfied and so I'm usually one to give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, after I hired Greenway Tree Service and Landscaping to install a sprinkler system and replace bermuda sod in our front yard, I feel I need to share our experience with others so that they might not have the same poor service we had. Jose Serra was attentive and responsive while the work was being done, promising along the way that knows how to take care of customers, that we would have a wifi controller for our sprinkler system, that he would stand behind his work. Unfortunately, once the work was "done," so was Jose's responsiveness to our concerns. The promised wifi controller never showed up. The backyard was left all rutted up with large clumps of hard clay. After promising that he would be back to break up those clumps and leave us with a level yard, I ended up having to do the work myself. Trash was left all over our yard as well. I've contacted Jose nine days in a row now to have him come finish his work. When he answers my call (about 25% of the time) he makes promises to come by and then never shows up. The other 75% that he doesn't answer and I leave a message he doesn't call back. I won't do business with Jose again and can't recommend him to others. I do know that he reads the reviews that others post about his services, often blaming them for their bad experiences. Take it from me...this is a guy you should avoid. read more
