This will be long because these guys deserve a proper review. We were in town from Las Vegas and…read morewere staying in Provo. All the eletrical in our car went out we assumed we needed a battery which is something we change out every few years because Vegas summers are brutal. We changed it out but the battery light kept flashing on and off we thought we need to drive the car so the battery can juice up the car. We drove from Provo to SLC for a graduation and on our way back at around 9000 S. the electrical started going out again and we pulled over at a Maverick. We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. They also told us that they werent available to take it until the next week which wasnt an option for us because we had to get back for work. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. Thank you for the best auto repair service we have hands down ever had!

My mechanic was skilled and quick, it only took him just a few minutes to change everything out and I was set to go. Price was fair and I'm happy with the service and the techs they sent who were courteous and friendly. I've added them as a contact for future repairs, so I'm recommending them here for anyone else that needs auto servicing.

They are very honest and I didnt feel like I was going to get scammed. I was a little nervous walking up to a used car dealership. But everything went great. I even threw the invoice into chatgpt to make sure the pricing was well. The other amazing thing was, I bought front break pads from the Mercedes dealership and I asked them if they could use those and change them since I couldnt return it back. They said yes! This is unheard of. Most service companies make money off of parts. But these guys were great. The dealership was clean and everyone was nice. I do most of the work myself because I want to avoid people scamming me. I have already told 4 people about this and plan on posting about it on instagram to let everyone know. Companies need to know if you dont scam people and work with them they will get more business. But companies are trying to get as much from customoers. Thank you KC you were the best! I will reach out for sure. Thank you for communicating so well and being available and very responsive. Work done: Replaced rear brake pads (new pads provided by the shop) Replaced rear brake rotors (new rotors provided by the shop) Installed a rear brake pad wear sensor Installed front brake pads that YOU already bought Rotate & balance tires Free multi-point inspection

5 Stars - Truly Immaculate Service!…read more I had an amazing experience with Immaculate Used Cars and couldn't be happier with the service! I brought my car in for some needed work, and not only did they get everything done quickly, but they were completely upfront about the costs from the very beginning. No surprises, no upselling--just honest, straightforward service. The pricing was more than fair, and they walked me through exactly what needed to be done and why. It's rare these days to find a shop that combines skill, transparency, and genuine customer care, but these guys nailed it. My car runs better than it has in years, and I left feeling confident and taken care of. If you're looking for a place that values honesty, quality, and reasonable service costs, Immaculate Used Cars is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommended!

That said, having just made the first of many credit card payments for work I never would have had done given the full scope of what my vehicle needed, I feel compelled to prevent this from happening to anyone else. While the actual work done here seems fairly competent, the diagnostic process seems about as accurate as playing darts blindfolded. I brought my car in because it was creaking misfiring, and the check engine light was on. I told them that I believed my engine mounts were worn out and that I also needed a diagnoses for the misfiring. They told me that the cause for the misfiring was likely that my spark plugs and ignition coils were worn out, because that usually happens around 100k miles and my vehicle was past that. I agreed to have them replaced along with new engine mounts, to the tune of $2,600. I was told that after this my vehicle would be like a totally different car. The very next day, my car misfired again and the check engine light came back on. When I brought it back, they informed me that they don't have any way of knowing this fo sure, but I probably actually had a blown head gasket. I brought my car to a different mechanic shop who did a full and complete diagnostic from bumper to bumper and took photos of everything wrong with the car- from a blown head gasket to a leaking transmission to almost completely worn wheel bushings and a host of other problems totaling over $8,200 in addition to the $2,600 I had already paid at Red Rock Auto. Had I known this in the first place, I never would have paid $2,600 on a doomed old van that needed almost $11,000 in work done. I had to buy a new van and that $2,600 would have really helped with the down payment. I'm tempted to say that I feel duped, but I don't think there was any malice or fraud going on- just general laziness or incompetence in the diagnostic process that very negatively affected me.

About 50 miles away from salt lake we broke down and had to remove our hub in the middle of nowhere. We walked into this shop with hub in hand and were immediately taken care of, the shop was slammed but they made time to help us out and get us back on the road. As someone who works on their own vehicles and doesn't like trusting mechanics if I was local I would take any of my vehicles to this shop in a heart beat. I cannot Recommend this shop enough. I…read morelike how they send you a text with what they found and what needs immediate attention and on down the scale for urgency instead of a mechanic or rep coming out to talk to you to pressure you into making the repairs. I also like how they do not charge you for diagnostics. When other shops charge you $140-$160 to check out your car to see what the problem is, they charge zero! Good friendly guys up at the front desk, I've been working with Sheldon. This place always has a ton of cars in their lot as I'm sure a lot of people have caught on to their good service and bring it here. That's the kind of shop you want to have. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

They'll rip off with a smile on their face, like they're doing you and your car a big favor. TL;DR Steve's business revolves around attracting customers with inexpensive oil changes, then upselling products/services that not even your car's dealership recommends. Pay $30 more to have your oil changed literally anywhere else. About month ago, I wrote a review on Google (see last paragraph below) that said Steve's is good for an oil change, but to be warned that they'll try to upsell things you don't need. Fast forward to today, I arrived early for my scheduled oil change and the employee at the desk looked up my appointment, and then went to the office that's behind one-way glass like it's a police station. The one-way glass is a perfect metaphor to the shadiness of the shop. Trevor, presumably a manager, came out to speak to me and gave a schpiel about ensuring their customers safety and satisfaction is their top priority. I waited for him to finish. When he did, I asked what was happening, were they refusing to service my car? Yes, that's exactly what Trevor was doing except it wasn't outright refusal but extortion. He said they wouldn't change my car's oil unless I removed my review. Trevor went on another schpiel about how car dealerships don't recommended changing oil as often as Steve's does because Steve's cares more about properly maintaining the car for safety. You're reading this correctly (if you've made it this far), the mechanics at Steve's know your car better than the mechanics at your car's dealership, and Steve's recommends more products and services than even your car's dealership, and dealerships, as everyone knows, are notorious for upselling. Insane that Steve's attempts to outsell the kings of upselling. Best part was Trevor was addressing my review at the time, but my review made no mention of Steve's recommending an oil change too often (see the review below), which is telling because it means Steve's recommends more frequent oil changes than your car's manufacturer recommends. I'm insulted for two reasons. First, that Trevor thinks he can use the same snake-oil salesman talking points he would use on a grandmother. Second, for wasting my time. Original review: Recommend for an oil change but nothing else. Know that they attract customers with inexpensive oil changes in order to upsell just about everything. Multiple times they've recommended service my car didn't need. Most recent example was when I needed new brake pads, they insisted I needed new rotors as well because "you should always change them together" and "if you don't the brakes will squeak." I called a dealership to fact-check and they said that's not a thing, you're fine to replace just the pads without rotors. Sure enough, it's been months and brakes are just fine, no squeaks.
