I decided to give Freeman's a call and probably spent about 30 minutes on the phone with them. They answered all my questions and I decided to buy some speakers a couple days later. I came in and even though they were crazy busy, they demonstrated several of the Hertz speakers for me and I ended up buying 2 pairs of the Diece coaxials. I came I've called several times since and even dropped by to get some sound deadening and fast rings for my doors, and again they were nothing but helpful! I even stayed for a few minutes just to chat and the knowledge these guys have is just mind blowing. They are not your typical car audio store in that they are not pushy salesmen. They GENUINELY want you to be happy with your purchase and you can tell they have a passion for their craft. They will not steer you wrong and feed you wrong information just to make a sale. While having someone come to you to install a car alarm is great, I would also recommend caution…read more Eric was great with scheduling and coming to my job to install my Compustar alarm. He had to come back after the initial install due to a part not working. The alarm worked great for several months. I ran into an issue with my remotes not locking or unlocking my car doors after arming and disarming them. I reached out to him to see if this was normal and he responded that it should not do that. A few days later the remotes started operating properly. Then out of nowhere again the remotes stopped arming and disarming the alarm (less than a year after install) and I could only use the app on my phone. I texted and called (left voicemail) on his cell phone and never received response. My alarm would randomly go off (shock alarm) between 10:00pm-4:00am whenever it was could outside. I googled and found that it was due to the sensitivity of the alarm. There was no way I could get any assistance since Eric would not respond to any communication. If you want continued support I recommend going to a brick and motor shop and not using Audioman of the Carolinas. ***response to Eric C.**** We were messaging about the issue August 10,2025 and then nothing. I called and left a detailed voicemail on 4/2/2026 with no response.

Initially, I was pleased with the job he did. Little did I know the personal Hell this transaction would become over the next 18 months. Not only has this man and his team proven themselves to be unable to do the job correctly, but they have also demonstrated through their actions to be dishonest, unethical, unprofessional, and very cruel. The problems with the stereo and alarm systems started almost immediately. The stereo would skip, and different screens would pop up when I would turn the car on, and sometimes the screen would be blank, so I would have to restart the car to get to the stereo. The alarm would sometimes churp different tones, which Peter indicated was a sensor issue, and the starter button would set off my alarm a lot of the time. Fast forward 2024. The alarm stopped working all together so Peter agreed to replace it. ** The second alarm is now malfunctioning ** So many long visits to AudioMasters, I was patient and respectful with this man. The last week in September, 2024, my stereo wireless stopped working, the volume went up and down by itself, screen flashed on and off. The next day, I called Peter. No answering machine, and He would not respond to my texts, I verified he received them. He just chose not call me back. Then the stereo stopped working all together. No CarPlay, no music. After a week of being ignored, I was able to speak with Peter. Peter acknowledged the problem, offered to replace the defective stereo. Another week passed. October 4, I got this text from Peter: "Morning Marcus, Just left the warehouse with the new radio and headed back to charlotte. Ill text you when I'm on the way to you." That was the last time I heard from Peter, or AudioMasters. I spoke with an employee, he put me on hold for 30 minutes. I called back, they have call waiting, they would not pick up. I had someone else call from another number, and they picked up.
