I ordered a 1/2 dozen wings from appetizers, and finally I ordered a basket of fries. We don't have baskets of fries the menu has changed so you want 2 sides of fries? One side of fries and one side on onion rings. I placed my order over the phone ordering from their website that doesn't mention or show new menu. I ordered the food at 6:38 pm. I was told 10-15 minutes. I arrived and paid $41.38 plus tip at6:52 pm. And was told to sit and wait. I mentioned I'd stand which got me a lesson on bar space for waitresses, and not to block it, so I sat down. What attitude. At 7:15 I asked how much longer, and she said it's not done yet. I said I want my money refunded and I'll go somewhere else. She said she wasn't authorized to give refunds, she had to get manager. 7:22 she comes out rummages thru cash door, has to ask me what the name on the order was, then removes the receipt hands it to me and says it's been refunded. I asked for a receipt showing the $ was refunded she said no. Baby I know business was pretty rough over the holiday weekend. I know you aren't the cook, but realize this. I'm al local. Well... not quite. The store itself is quaint and charming, filled with all kinds of temptations. Pistachios in every form, chocolates, wines, and gift options that make you rethink your original plan. You can taste a little of everything, which is both delightful and dangerous. Then we stepped out onto the patio with our pistachio ice cream, and wow... completely unexpected. The space is gorgeous. Calm, open, and the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. Honestly, if I lived nearby, I'd be planning celebrations here without a second thought. Somewhere between the views and the tasting, I tried their pistachio rosé. And yes, I had the same reaction, "wait... what?" But it worked. Different, pleasant, and surprisingly good. Good enough that I completely abandoned my pistachio gift plan and walked out with several bottles instead. A much more unique surprise. We also had the fried pickles that are sliced, not the spears...that were also perfect and not some kind of over fried freezer burnt garbage you might get from some places...oh, great ranch dressing.
