Great coffee shop with nice interior and some outdoor tables. Small menu executed well made for a good start to our day on our way out of Boulder. I loved the "dusk til dawn" iced latte. In July 2024 they're open 7:30am daily- customers piled in right when they opened but service was quick and friendly!

Absolutely the best coffee I have ever had in UTAH. Stumbled across this tumbleweed looking for a rest stop and ended up having the best experience at a coffee shop. Thank you ! We will be returning. Also if you are looking for a quick snack the croissant is a real treat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A lovely spot on the drive on route 12. The grill is next door, but this is a quiet oasis and they understand how to brew a cup of tea.

I wish the…read moreowner was more friendly so I could express my concerns without writing a review, but that's not possible. So here goes. It's a lovely store, and I want to support the effort to bring natural foods to this remote area. I'm here a lot and stop by every time...and regret it, lol. I would not eat prepared foods from here. Handwashing does not happen. I have witnessed countless cross contaminations, and it's just gross. Going from the register to the cafe section, using unwashed fingers with ultra long nails to reach into bins to grab ingredients for the smoothies, adjust her pants, grab a sticky bun with bare fingers, then back to the register to handle cash, and back to the cafe to make food again. Ack. This particular worker was friendly, albeit flighty and seemed to have had a past medical issue contributing to her disorganization and lack of attention to detail. Probably some training would be helpful, and oversight from the management. There was a younger woman restocking, but she couldn't be bothered to step in and help when it was busy, with customers wanting to check out while food and smoothies were being made. This is off putting; pack your patience. (And this hasn't changed each time I'm here!) The woman also had zero idea of ingredients, so if you have allergies, probably best to avoid. I asked if there was milk in the sandwich bread and the reply was "yes, it's veganaise on the sandwich." Ummmm. Ok. I asked if there was sour cream or any dairy in the chicken salad, and the reply was "yes, it's veganaise." Lol, ugh. (Veganaise is VEGAN, no dairy.) But I'm glad I wasn't able to order anything after watching her prepare orders for others. Best to get your sandwich fix at EscaLatte (Escalante Outfitters) or go up the road to the food trucks in Boulder.

We stopped here on a whim on the way out of Escalante heading North and could not have been more surprised. Of course they have gas, but this is so much more.
