Shooke is the kind of place you hope to stumble into--the beating heart of a small town like Torrey, where the coffee is quietly extraordinary, the smiles are real, and the air smells like something baked with love. Shawn and Brooke aren't just baristas and bakers (and roasters)--they're anchors of this community. The kind of people who remember your name and your order, who know just when you need a moment of quiet or a recommendation for the trail less traveled. (Ask Brooke, she shared one of my all-time favorite hikes with me when I first landed here.) This is a place where coffee is treated like craft; an honest-to-goodness sit-down shop and roaster, where every shot is poured with care and precision. You'll find homemade treats (including some gluten free), soft tees that carry the red rock dust and sunshine of Capitol Reef, and a place to sit and stay a while--really stay. Places like this are rare. People like them even rarer. Come for the coffee. Stay for the front-porch conversations and the feeling you've been here before, even if it's your very first time.

We were camping close by and stopped in for coffee and some pastries. The lady that helped us was very friendly and kind. The coffee was great and we loved the pastries we tried. Already stopped by again for another coffee! read more

My favorite coffee in Torrey! Cute shop and good coffee! The cinnamon rolled latte was my favorite, not too sweet. I like that all the drinks we tried were not overly sweet. Good service and cute crafts. read more

Love all the local artisan items they sell! Service was friendly and fast. However, I couldn't give 5 stars because our coffee (ordered hot) was served at barely room temperature. read more

Sure there's coffee next store, but if you're after a bad ass cup of decaf, or some super yummy baked goods, or a fancy cuppa joe, make sure you check out Shooke...and their roaster!! read more

Wow what a hidden gem here in the little town of Torrey. We dropped by to grab some coffee and pastries before heading into Capitol Reef National Park for a day of exploring. Their coffee is freshly roasted, they are the real deal when it comes to artisan coffee! The service was great, the owner was so nice and cheerful. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back here! read more

We noticed the coffee house first with a donut shop next door. They have a drive through service with plenty of parking if you want to stop. We skipped the gas station coffee next door and we were happy that we did. This is a family own business with a donut shop connected next door. They were very welcoming and showed great customer service by being patient with our order. They prepared our long order with perfection. We ordered a dark chocolate ice latte, dark chocolate coffee mocha with 1 pump of chocolate and a dark chocolate ice blended coffee. We were pleasantly surprised how good their coffee tasted. We ordered donuts and they gave us a free small of cup of whip cream and a doggy treat for our 9 month old puppy. Their donuts were not overly sweet and tasted great! I highly recommend this coffee house and I will come back again next time I'm passing through this area.

She made the donut part of the visit way more enjoyable.
