Tumbled Earth is the home of Kootenay River stone jewelry.
Each authentic stone used in Tumbled Earth has been collected from the shores of the Kootenay River in beautiful British Columbia. The 22,000 year old stones were formed from glaciers and naturally tumbled by the water. Back in our studio, we drill the tiny holes by hand and polish each stone, ready to use in our pieces along with mixed metals, earthy charms, and other natural elements.
The stones are as old as time and created into modern designs. When you wear a piece of Tumbled Earth you will feel an organic connection to nature and the land we are all a part of.
History
Established in 2009.
I first started under the business name Stellalissa in 2009 when I was living in Victoria, BC. In 2012, my family and I moved to Kimberley, my husbands home town, and after only one trip to the beautiful Kootenay River, I saw the potential of the stones incorporated into my jewelry. From there, Tumbled Earth was born. Only in 2017, did I merge my two jewelry lines together under the one more suiting name, Tumbled Earth. The rebranding with the new logo, website and marketing has been a great success.
