HR lady we got after months of waiting left pretty fast and do NOT blame her, Most coworkers are the most amazing helpful people you can meet, but the customer service is concerning sometimes, management does not back up staff, tons of safety protocol was missed, even saw forklifts operated by managers with no license causing a small dent in the frame by the lumber doors. Pretty HORRIFIC standards compared to any other home depot I have been a customer or employee at, unfortunately. Experience as a customer before employment was substandard and after attempting returning to shop have not been treated well. there is not much support for bullying within the employees either unfortunately, part of me leaving was due to harassment.. not to mention there have been MULTIPLE cases of reviews being left & management attack said mentioned employee who was accomodating but understaffed, and the feedback coming back to employees as threats.

He isn't approachable…read more someone asked if I needed help finding something and the old guy cut in and said, "No we don't have any of that" I decided to go look for myself. I found what I needed... Then, I asked for some cuts, and this old man was the one to do it. I asked for 2 lengths, he cut 1. Then, he walked up to my 7 year old, with a 2 X 2 X 2 and said "this is a kid beating stick. He was waving it at my kid, like he wanted to hit him with it and my son was afraid. Umm, I cut in and said, "He's kidding, right? Don't worry, he's only kidding." But, he just continued for a couple minutes, waving and staring at my son, before he placed it onto my cart.... I won't go back here... As well, with Hannah's comment.. I too, experience bewildered expressions, from the men who work at this place.

Well...1. the plants were so healthy and thriving, 2. the staff was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind, and 3. this business gives back to the community. Today I phoned to order a memorial tree. Evan answered the phone even though they were not technically open for another 45 minutes. He took plenty of time with my questions and assured me the gift certificate would be delivered to the family. Now talk about going above and beyond. Thank you, Evan and staff for all you do.
