Bud (the shop owner) fixed my PC today and it works great! Last night I saw there was an update available for Win 11. I downloaded and installed it. Then, I thought it's probably a good idea to download the latest NVidia driver for my GFX card, since I had not updated in maybe a year. Turns out the latest Nvidia driver released in February 2025 appears to have several bugs. But I didn't know that and after installing the driver it didn't work properly. I tried to roll it back but the roll back option was greyed out. So I did a system restore but the restore failed to complete. I could boot up the PC to the Windows login screen but after entering my PIN windows didn't load, it was just a blank screen. I called Genius Computer Center at 9:30 AM, brought it in at 11:30 AM, and it was fixed by 2PM. Bud was friendly too. I recommend his store. read more

Stole from my little brother, Brought in a 1TB ASUS Gaming laptop and now its a 250GB laptop, The crazy thing is he gave my son the old hard drive 1TB My son tried to redownload his games but could only download 1 of them out of 9 do not use this guy, i am going to try & be professional & have him put the proper hard drive in 1TB like it was before or give back half the money since you downgraded my son laptop for some reason or i can go to civil court since you where suppose to provide a service you didnt & you stole as well read more

Had the pleasure of dealing here about 6 months ago. My sons laptop died, I thought it was the hard drive. We live over an hour away from Cranbrook, and my wife was there, so I got her to stop in and pickup a hard drive, Trouble was i gave her and the computer shop the wrong info, so we got the wrong hard drive. Lucky for us, the owner let us return it no charge, and was very helpful in getting us the right hard drive. The price was just as Good as the big chain stores to boot.
