The competition recommended Tuhy's for an issue I was having with my bike. Nice clean shop, friendly helpful service and competitive prices.

I dropped my R3 off at Hi-Tech's service shop for a Yamaha recall fix on Wednesday. When I dropped…read moreit off, I made a very specific request concerning test driving (albeit, a strange request - and I did all I could to accommodate them, and ensure my request could be met easier). After getting some help unloading my motorcycle from the trailer, I went inside with the service writer (very nice guy), and made the same request concerning driving, several times. He essentially told me "no can do." Again, not wanting to make a scene, I did my best to brush it off, and hoped my request would be honored, despite their claims that it wouldn't be. Side note: one might reasonably assume what this request is. It was to NOT test drive my motorcycle, as I wanted to keep the 1 mile on the odometer, until I was ready to get rid of it. Once I was ready, I wanted to be the one to get rid of the one mile. Let's face fact: with 1 mile, and maybe a cumulative total of 2 hours worth of idling, there's not a whole lot to check. The bike is pretty much still brand new. I could certainly understand the desire to test drive more, if it had some mileage. When I finally was able to listen to their voicemail they left me Friday afternoon/early evening (well after they had closed), telling me I could pick up my bike; I had my trailer ready to go and I picked it up the next morning when they opened (or shortly thereafter). I have to admit, I was pretty steamed. I hadn't seen the bike yet, but that they would have test drove it in direct opposition of my request of them not too, was absolutely making me furious. I went inside about 30 minutes after they opened, and I unleashed more than I should have on the owner. As it turns out, despite the driving issue when I dropped it off, they didn't take the odometer past 1 mile. I WAS OVER THE MOON HAPPY! My whole drive home I was jumping for joy. I apologized to the owner, and was absolutely thrilled that they honored my request. I took my frustrations out before I actually saw the bike, and to that end, I am very sorry for my outburst. They have accommodated my request, and were absolutely very professional. In the past, I've had nothing but bad experiences with other dealership service centers. Combine that with my absolute hatred of loosing possession of my cars, trucks, and motorcycles, for any period of time; that only made me simmer more. But clearly, they took my comments to heart, and that saying is true "don't judge a book by the cover." Just because they are a dealer with a service department, doesn't mean I should immediately assume the worst. The owner said she trusts her technicians, and holds them in very high regards - which is great! Just for clarification, they are absolutely wonderful people. I am superbly impressed with both their service, parts, and sales staff. They are extremely knowledgeable, with very competitive pricing. I certainly hope my little frustration episode today didn't burn a bridge and completely ruin any future opportunities for other vehicle/equipment/gear purchases. If so, I completely understand. If not, I promise I'll be back. They are absolutely top-notch, a wealth of Yamaha knowledge, and handled my little rant this morning with absolute professionalism. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you all very much. TOP NOTCH OWNERS!! TOP NOTCH OPERATION! THANK YOU BOTH, I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE MY BIKE BACK, AND TO NOT HAVE THE ODOMETER ANY HIGHER THAN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Message to the owners: If you want to discuss this review, or my overreaction this morning, I'm glad to do that. Feel free to call or email me at your leisure. Thank you both again.

WARNING / CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE…read more On February 4, 2025, I purchased a Kawasaki Ridge Crew HVAC with cash. After bringing it home and driving it, I noticed a significant vibration once the machine reached about 45 mph. Since something clearly wasn't right, I took it to another certified dealer to have it looked at. Their finding: the tire requires 1/2 pound of wheel weights to balance--or possibly an entirely new tire. As most people know, that amount of weight on a tire generally means something else is wrong. So now begins the process of getting it fixed. Thankfully, I also paid extra for the extended warranty, which you would think would make things smoother. Instead, we are now going on three weeks without a resolution. Each time I call to check on the status, I'm assured I'll receive a call back... which then mysteriously never happens. I also requested a copy of the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) that was supposedly completed before the unit was sold. I was told by my sales associate that it's an "internal document." Interestingly enough, the machine had exactly 0 miles on it when I received it. If a proper PDI had actually been performed, I'm fairly confident the vibration would have been noticed. I'm not a mechanic, but even I could tell something wasn't right. While looking through the owner's manual, I also noticed there is a PDI checklist meant to be reviewed and signed by both the dealer and the customer, with each receiving a copy. So naturally, it raises the question: why is the PDI that was supposedly completed such a secret? Moral of the story: If I had financed this machine instead of paying cash, I simply wouldn't have made the first payment and they could come pick it up. Instead, I paid in full and purchased the extended warranty--so one would assume resolving the issue would be a priority. At this point, the only real question is: how long should fixing a brand-new machine take? Needless to say, I'm not a happy customer. This has simply been my personal experience, so consider this a heads-up if you're planning to purchase one. Good luck.
