We truly love supporting local small businesses whenever possible because, in our experience, small business owners are usually passionate about their work and provide outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Johnny's. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Honestly, I wish we had read the reviews before making our $20,000 purchase. The entire experience became an absolute nightmare. Without exaggeration, we dealt with: * 8 (YES, EIGHT!) no-shows -- meaning we planned entire days around their scheduled visits, only to receive no call, no text, no update, and no respect for our time. We always had to be the ones to reach out just to find out they were not coming. * 1 scheduled visit where they actually notified us they would not make it and needed to reschedule. Sad to say, that felt like a win considering the circumstances. * Countless unanswered calls and texts, along with at least 10 promises that were never fulfilled. * An improperly installed electrical component that could have become extremely dangerous. We ultimately had to recommend and involve our own licensed electrician to ensure the work was completed safely and correctly. * 4 missing pieces/items which were ultimately installed after a very long and painful process. * A complete disregard for the customer's time, money, and overall experience. Unfortunately, once payment was received, customer service and accountability seemed to disappear entirely. I will say the office staff were always kind and pleasant to deal with, but they also seemed powerless when it came to actually resolving the issues. I genuinely hope Johnny's can improve their communication, reliability, and customer service because those things matter just as much as the product itself.

My husband and I selected Mega Storage Sheds after contacting Tuff Shed, Ullrich Sheds, Lowe's…read more(Heartland brand), Lonestar Structures, and Affordable Portables for shed quotes. First and foremost, their pricing was literally unbeatable. We got the 8x12x8 shed, lowered the pitch because our HOA requires a max of 8 feet, added a 2x3 window and they painted and added architectural shingles. They showed up at 8am on Saturday and were done within 8 hours. This cost us $2,208.30. For some comparison, the comparable quality and installation of the Tuff Shed was quoted at $3,047. The comparable Lonestar Structure was going to be $2900 for delivery and installation. The comparable Ullrich was going to be $3,833 and the Affordable Portables started at $1949 without installation or customization. Lastly, Lowe's was going to be 2k without installation, shingles, paint or the upgraded flooring we got. The contractor working at Lowe's honestly told my husband those sheds are not worth half of what you would pay for them in the cost of the materials. My husband contemplated purchasing the materials and constructing it on his own but the purpose was to try and turn our 2 car garage into a place we could actually park both cars and have a dedicated workshop for him before our baby comes in 3 weeks. I could not find a better pricing for everything they offered. Because we are within 50 miles of their location, delivery was also free. The customer service was unbeatable as well. Katrina called me to confirm delivery, called me the morning of to let me know they were 30 minutes out and allowed us to pay by CC over the phone as my husband wasn't comfortable with writing down our number. They constructed the entire thing on site, it was not a pre-fab thing. They brought all the parts and cut and constructed it on site. It is extremely sturdy, uses quality materials, and has survived a major rain storm without water seeping in already. We are EXTREMELY pleased with the results. We were originally going to go with the Heartland model because it was easy and we were going to pay to have it installed but after reading reviews of the Heartland sheds from Lowe's and watching a time lapse video of a guy trying to construct it by himself... we knew there wasn't time for my husband to do it alone before the baby comes. It was worth every penny of the 2200 we spent - knowing that is a big chunk of change right before having our first kid! I would not change the experience for the world. Definitely use them!!!

Cons: - Does not come with door bolts - They have very poor workmanship, bent nails everywhere, staples sticking through walls ready to poke you.. - Doors would not close, so they just hammer the 2x4 until it barely fits.. after 2 days, the doors would not close at all.. - They never answer phone calls or texts!! - I finally called the other location to eventually get a call back.. that was 3 weeks ago.. I am still waiting for doors to be fixed - Door framing is terrible and doors are warped and does not seal.. I eventually got out my circular saw and fixed the doors myself.. Also added additional 2x4 wood pieces to get the door un-warped.. All in all, good value for money IF you can fix the screw ups yourself after the fact...
