Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

The broasted chicken was so good. Best chicken I've had in a long time. They gave me like 2 cups of mashed potatoes as well as the Parmesan brussel sprout. They were so good I had to eat the whole thing. Lots to do. There's a free petting zoo with goats. You can buy corn to feed them for a quarter. There's an antique mall next to and an Amish market. I'll definitely go back.

We ate here several times while staying at the cabins. Dinner first night- I had the tortellini,…read moreSweetie had crab cakes. Kid K had a side Caesar salad. All were very good. Service was great. However, our waitress informed us that a big party was overwhelming the kitchen and we did indeed wait quite a while to get our food. Bread and our smaller items coming out before the mains helped us get through, and luckily we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere. They gave us free desserts- also very tasty. The place is open and relaxing. Light music playing that turned out to be soft covers of 80s and 90s pop songs. The staff as a whole were friendly and professional. Had breakfast a couple of times (free with a stay) and again, excellent service, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere. They had pancakes and bacon both times, I had oatmeal one day (with pretty much any topping you want) and a muffin that was delicious. Next time I had steak and eggs, and wow. I got scrambled even though those aren't usually my pick, figuring a good restaurant would do them better than a diner or than I do at home, and I was right. Fluffy and flavorful. Piled on top of the steak (thick and cooked to my spec) with horseradish sauce. That was milder than I expected, and I did add hot sauce (they brought a couple to the table.) Also home fries, again very good. We had reservations for each visit, but they didn't seem packed, just mostly full. Prices, outside of the comps, are pretty reasonable for the quantity and quality. Parking is a bit of a walk from the building, not an issue on a perfect early fall day but could be in worse weather. We will definitely be back.
