They have been sharing our personal information with tenants, rent gets raised 150 dollars when you renew your lease. (2016) Don't own anything? Great! Temporary or less than a year housing? Perfect! Flexible with the term 'livable conditions?' Wow! Don't mind your home crumbling around you? Don't mind noisy neighbors? Don't mind management changing so often you can't memorize anyone's names or count on support? You're literally perfect ! The only benefits of living here are it's literally the cheapest place to live and also that the emergency maintenance guys were amazing. I bet they still are, they were always the most consistent part of this place. We liked our neighbors but we heard of other parts of the small community having problems. Walls are paper thin. In 2016 we paid ~$855 to $940... in rent. One time our shower couldn't turn off on full heat in the small space we thought we probably already had mold because of course the small space would like create it, but it did take 45 minutes to arrive and turn the water off. The maintenance guy alluded to the property not being very well labeled. Oh and when our ladder cracked to get to our loft and the guy said there weren't any replacements (oh ya that price for 220ft btw, plus loft as extra space to sleep in or w/e) we lasted one year before redmond absorbed all of our money and we couldn't live here anymore. Here at Tudor Manor, we spare EVERY expense![part 1] CONSTRUCTION: Muse Management charges premium rates for our 200sq ft rooms that boast construction so cheap your neighbor's cough will wake you up at night! It also guarantees that walking up our claustrophobic stairwells provides a tangible heat increase on par with ascent into Hell. We adhere to the judicious use of current industry buzz-words that actually have little to no meaning in order to explore the gray areas of our lease and WA law! Words like "eco friendly" (toilets that barely flush, sub-standard pipes that barely drain) and "energy efficient" wiring (sub standard and guaranteed to blow a fuse if you try to run an air conditioner and your PC, for example). Our outlets are set into the wall at odd angles and frequently broken, dissuading you from using them and thereby improving efficiency! AMENITIES: We say these are micro-studios but legally for that to be true each unit must offer a full kitchen. These are EFFICIENCIES, not STUDIOS - micro or otherwise - but never mind that small fact, the word "studio" = hundreds more $$$'s for us when we advertise! While we do offer a common use oven and refrigerator at some of our other locations, Tudor residents enjoy a common oven and the mini fridge in their rooms. These bottom-of-the-line mini fridges are too small to fit a quart of milk in - but that won't matter since they freeze, leak, and break regularly. If you try to turn them up to temperatures that actually keep food cold they blow the energy efficient wiring! This is also the excuse we offer as to why we will not provide a refrigerator in the communal kitchen we illegally describe as "full" here. The microwaves are thoughtfully mounted under a cabinet and leak onto the only counter space you have. We have installed a tiny bar sink for your use as both kitchen and bathroom sink. This bar sink is not meant to actually handle that water load as the pipes are sub-standard in size, so it does not drain and backs up regularly. It is also placed conveniently under the only kitchen cabinet you have, reminding you of your good fortune when you bump your head every time you use it. Yes, we could have installed a slightly larger sink that uses standard pipes for our tenants, but that would have been about $40 more a unit and we needed new handbags. Our efficiency saved cost, space and time there! If you are lucky enough to get one of our cute and slightly larger lofts, please note that the ladders are attached with 2 screws and frequently come off - with you on them (see photo). The screws regularly back out of the steps, and we do not provide any kind of safety rails. If you are in the loft, be aware that you can easily fall out while leaning over the ladder area, especially after leaning down and smashing your head on the ladder ends. These twin punji sticks extend deceptively deep into your available space, causing you to lean awkwardly when walking in the open loft. We have been meaning to do something about that, honest. We include internet on your lease. The land line is quite fast, when it works. We will give you the login and PW for wifi that does not work. The reason for this is our cost - er, I meant energy-efficient wiring system (see photo)! Upgrading to a real router and wiring probably would have cost a couple hundred total and we needed a Keurig at the office. Yes, we know the lease states that we provide internet, but we don't read the lease! Why are you? [note: they did finally upgrade to comcast routers literally 2 days after I moved out. over a year after I moved in. And now apparently you have to pay extra for it. Internet is included in ALL competing "micro studios" - as are full kitchens]. We charge a monthly fee to use our laundry closet. It is the size of a bathroom and stuck around and behind the buildings so it's a bit of a trek. Its also totally secluded, which is why your things will be stolen if you leave them there. We are aware of this problem and feel that telling you we plan to get some sort of security someday is an excellent solution! LAYOUT: We provide the cheapest possible built-in shelving, anchored permanently to the wall in the most inconvenient areas possible. Remember, the unit is only 200 sq ft (if you are lucky) so what difference does it really make? You don't have any room for belongings anyway. Why offer closets when you are living in one? Yes, we know we could have moved the door 5 inches to the right to allow you to actually open it all the way but that would have taken planning and therefore money and more time - remember, we are all about efficiency here! PARKING: We charge full rates for micro parking also. These spots are too small for a compact car to open its doors, and we act like double parking everyone is A-OK! So, I have lived here going on 5 years now and feel I have a pretty good picture of the place as a whole. To start with, I've obviously liked living here or I wouldn't have stayed so long. I know just about all the Residents and for the most part, everyone works to be a good neighbor here at Tudor Manor. We are a close nit community. Yes, the rooms are small and it's a minimalist living style but the trade off is, they are inexpensive and you get to live in the beautiful, low crime neighborhood of Redmond. Which, has EVERYTHING within walking distance; doctors, shopping, restaurants, movie theater, commuter center etc. Now, I come to the topic that motivated me to write this review. Kelly from the management team; I have seen her go above and beyond her job description to personally help tenants. She really takes ownership of the community she manages. I am truly impressed with how well Her and the maintenance staff keep the place up. Additionally, She's always returned my phone calls within 24hrs when I've requested to hear from her. Perfect for efficient (minimalist) living and you won't find better value for money in the area. Kelly from management was always helpful when I had questions or needed something. I am a neighbor and can speak to some of the issues. There is marijuana smoke and normal smoke all the time. Their tenants and visitors often park on our premises and are rude and not the kind of people you would like to be neighbors with. Been living at Tudor Manor for about a year and a half. During this time I have been nothing but impressed with the management, including the staff that maintain the units. The week before Christmas my shower handle broke. It was handled very promptly and I was so relieved to come home and shower. Their maintenance man, Josh, has always been very kind and helpful with any issues large or small. My experience with their apartment manager, Kelly, has also been nothing short of steller. She has been extremely consistent communicating to tenants and responding to communications. Very happy with my time here! read more

I have been a resident at Tudor Manor for two years as of this month. During the duration of my time living here I have noticed a big turn around with the recent management & staff.. There is communication and quite a difference from before. Half the time I would call and request maintenance and it was never fulfilled. Terra & Garrett are wonderful and it's nice to see that the property is all cleaned up and has organization. It's about time we finally have a staff that really cares. Kudos to James as well on the maintenance. Thanks for all your hard work in making it pleasant. TERRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS After MONTHS of ineffective policy enforcement and excuses as why they won't fine and/or evict people smoking marijuana and cigarettes in their apartments - even renewing a lease for a problem unit they KNEW were smoking in their unit and have continued to. The carpets continuously smell like cigarette smoke and has left my throat scratchy ever since I moved in. The neighbors are petty that bang on walls and make loud noise in the night. Someone is using a high-pitch noise maker app on their phone and is turning it on and off throughout the night. Time after time after time I call management and the leasing office they only provide you false promises that they'll do something about it (if they bother calling you back at all). THEY DONT. They call you names over the phone and talk behind your back. NO ONE CARES. I find heroin needles in the garages and parking areas on property and have seen early-morning drug deals along 166th in Redmond. I am moving ASAP and advise everyone who is considering a place near by to STAY AWAY FROM MUSE MANAGEMENT PROPERTIES. Their advertisement for being a "smoke-free" community is false and FRAUD - especially when the outdoor smoking areas are literally 5 feet away from your WINDOW - one even being INSIDE one of the garages! The management and maintenance workers are friendly and responsive. I didn't mind the small living space. It's nice being on the eastside. I work a lot so it's a nice place to come home too. The internet is a sweet perk. The fridge is a little small so I had to go shopping once a week if that bothers you. The sink is a little small too and there is no mirror above which is pretty hard to get used too. The only really thing I hate about this place is the table outside where all the smokers congregate. These fools are bumping Catch me Riding dirty and smoking weed as I write this and its after 10pm. No self awareness and honestly pretty cringe. So DO NOT pick a place next to this area. You will not be able to run your AC or open your window because people smoke out here literally all day. If I didn't live next to smoking area I would've given 5 stars. read more

Be careful when living here, they had stole my bike that was lock in the garage and landlord seems not to care about tenants, when i rent the place it was given to me dirty and water was not working + people has keep close track of my life like if i was on middle school ... do not recommend you to pay such expensive rent for such a bad quality and insecure place. read more

I second Carmelina's post. I have lived here for a little less than a year. I have a job where I really could pay more for rent but do believe in large spaces. I have lived in my car, behind friends couches, ect all by choice. Tudor Manor seemed like a natural choice as they were recently built and close to work. They built these super cheap! You can hear all your neighbors. Doors slam and basically shake the whole apartment complex. There were neighbors in the next section over when I first moved in would sing until 1am or so. Then they moved out and a drug dealer/user moved in must have been the same apartment. This last couple weeks we had a DRUG OVERDOSE. I talked with my friend that lives in that section they said they overheard the EMS say it was a heroin overdose. And when they contacted the management, never heard back for a few days and when they did it was fluff it went straight to upper management. I understand there might be legal reasons but the rental contract explicitly states no drug use. On top of all that people smoke on all the balconies even though it is a non smoking place. No problem right my mom smoked, well the smoke drifts down depending on wind and ends up in your room. So windows are shut during summer and there is no AC what do you choose to have your room smell like smoke or sweat to death (given it doesn't get that hot in Seattle). The apartment door is a poor quality indoor model if someone wanted to get into your "micro studio" they could and clean house and nobody would know a thing. Bottom line this place is a ran by a larger corporation that operates as a SLUM LORD as no one is one site they only offer a few hours if they have someone working for them. Since I moved in there has been 2 different managers going on our third and has yet to be a year. I am actually building a tiny house on wheels. So I plan to stay here until I complete it later this year but if I didn't have those plans I would be looking for a different place to stay or move back into my car.... Love that there is a composting trash bin! Although many people don't seem to use it. My neighbors are friendly except the one down stairs who yells strange and vulgar repetitive thoughts most days and nights. The room is a little smaller then what I was told, so it is great transition accommodation and it gets me outside many times throughout the day. The floors are radiant heating which is great for the environment. I have not used the common kitchen at all because I am a vegetarian, so it gives me the chance to be really creative with a toaster oven, hot water kettle and an instapot in the room. The fan in the bathroom worked really well for the first month then started making really loud rattling noises amd the repair person has not come to fix it even though I put in a request. I keep the window open now, and can hear even better the cars driving super fast down the road. It is a great place to learn to adapt to things that are uncomfortable. read more

I lived in this apartment for a little over a year and that was more than enough. It's way overpriced for the square footage ($940 for 250sqft) and is not the place to live if you're looking for considerate, quiet neighbors. The management has improved though. They're pretty good about responding quickly to issues in a respectful way. For a micro apartment it is what it is, and if you're desperate to live in the east side you may find it appealing. After living here now for almost a year I felt I needed to do an update. This place has had its ups and downs but I do have to say what has really made it a pleasurable living experience is that they have finally got a good staff in place now. First off the heart and soul of this complex is the maintenance guy James, I have never ever seen a harder working guy in my whole life, i don't have any idea how he gets everything done around here from repairs, to and landscaping to, even cleaning all while he has another property to do as well. I've lived in a lot of different apartment complexes and know a lot of people in the business ie essex, pinnacle, weidner, from maintenance guys, to leasing agents, to people at corporate and none of them work as hard as this guy does or cares as much about their jobs as he does. Not only does he care about his job but he cares about the residents and treats them with respect and kindness. To Muse management please I beg you never ever get rid of James he has mad it a pleasure to live here. Begging disabled it's hard to find people who care and are accommodating and James goes above and beyond that. Then on to the new Manager Jazmin she has been such a breath of fresh air you have no idea. When I first moved in here it was hard to get a hold of the office or to talk to someone with out going to the other property but now we have a manager that you can get a hold of at all times who is very accommodating and cares about the residents. And yet again another person who has continuously gone out of the way to make sure I'm happy here and that I have what I need as a resident. Oh ya and last but not least there is Doug another friendly maintenance guy works hard and does a great job here at Tudor Manor. I've been living at Tudor Manor for almost a year now and am very happy with my choice to stay here! The units are located walking distance from just about anything in downtown Redmond. During my stay here I noticed a positive change in management and the grounds are kept up very well. Maintenance concerns are handled promptly and the emergency maintenance crew is really nice about getting called in late at night! (I've had my breaker pop a couple times needing a quick fix!) I'm a student and so I was very excited to find a place that's actually affordable on the Eastside! Looking forward to at least another year here! read more
