I called Dr Do and he said he could see me in an hour. I went to his office were he took a few x-rays and told me that the tooth I wanted to have pulled was fine and showed me the x-rays to prove it. When a doctor corrects my self diagnosis somehow I feel a little better right away. We made an appointment for the following day, Monday at 10 for a deep cleaning, which I knew I was over do. I gave him my insurance card info which for some reason was not working. He told me to come back tomorrow for my appointment and we could check it again then. I left his office paying no money out of pocket. He trusted me to return, which I did. Monday's office visit went smoothly. I did not have to wait too long for things to start happening. Full set of x-rays of my mouth were taken. Dr Do came in and performed the deep cleaning. He did my entire mouth in one setting. Although the cleaning session took a long time, Dr Do did everything to make sure I was comfortable; allowing to take a break at one point and stopping periodically so I could refocus. His office has a flat screen TV that pivots over the chair which is a nice distraction and takes your mind somewhat of whats happening. In summary, Dr Do is a caring professional. He looks younger than he is, but has the professionalism of a veteran dentist. I only saw him earlier today but have already referred him to a special person in my life, my mother, who lives in Escondido. So you can probably guess I would refer him to anyone who is looking for a great dentist.

Through all of my different insurance plans and Invisalign I've never had better care. I have moved to South San Diego and still make the drive. A special thank you to Dr. Dopenburg because every little fix from Invisalign to slight adjustments on my actual teeth, she has helped me achieve! I'm so happy and get compliments on my smile often!! Sandy was courteous but dont understand how you bill for something in Dec and not finish the job until April. So much for 6 months no interest when you wasted 4. No mention of adjusting the bill after pointing out it was incorrect. Did not have the strength to argue. Billed for tooth removal and repacking by the Dr Hurt. Not done. The tooth broke and I was referred to an oral surgeon. First oral surgeon said the job was botched by the Dr Hurt and would not take the insurance plan. Sent to a second oral surgeon in San Marcos who was excellent and removed the tooth and repacked the area no problem. Sent back to the dentist to install an oversized crown which is what was requested day one only to find out they would install a regular size smaller crown because thats what the dentist and his nice polite dental assistant wanted. Very unhappy. Pissed actually. That is NOT what the customer asked for and agreed to. Day 1. Thanks for another lousy experience at the dentist. Looks like I will always remember the incompetent Dentist in San Marcos who lacks integrity, work ethic and skills. Literally. You more than earned this review and it could have been avoided. I will go elsewhere and hope someone reads this to avoid the same. This is a restrained commentary masking how upset I am. Fyi.

Germaine & the entire front and back office are equally amazing. I felt heard & supported. I felt understood and listened to. They completely humored me, put up with my bad jokes and nervous babbling & laughter; answered my questions and listened to my concerns. Germaine was the best! Super funny guy himself! I hate to say it, but he was my favorite. though everybody there was awesome. And let me tell you, Dr. Soelberg has a magic touch! I had 13 teeth extracted, 3 alveoplasty's with 3 sutures. And that was my second visit. I had an extraction a month before this and had zero pain afterwards. Then, I literally had almost zero pain at all 13 extraction sites. Now my jaw is another story. But that is normal & I'm grateful for the i uprofen. I'm not sure if it IS normal to have almost zero pain at the extraction sites, but I did not. I'm not even sure how that's possible. They truly have a magic touch. The facility is gorgeous, super clean, warm and inviting. I really just can't emphasize adequately how absolutely awesome Dr Soelberg & the staff are. They made an absolutely terrifying, life changing procedure, bearable. I am forever grateful and I would recommend them 100%! Big thanks to the entire staff at NCOFS!

I was every bit as shattered as those 3 permanent, front row teeth! My just heart fell.  I know how to comfort and patch most childhood injuries - but these precious little teeth couldn't be set with a cast like a broken bone, and they would not grow back or mend like a skinned knee, I was feeling utterly lost and helpless.   Thank heavens for Grandpa McHale!  He brought both me and my son through this trauma like an angel.  By bonding a composite resin to the missing portions of the teeth, he was able to put back what the tragic fall had taken.  He color matched, shaped and smoothed the resin so beautifully.  He was gentle, constantly talking to and reassuring my son.  And while this is his Grandson, I know Dr. McHale well enough to say that the treatment would be the same with any child in his chair.   Before bed that night, I found my son, toothbrush in hand, in front of the big bathroom mirror, just running his tongue back and forth over his front teeth.  He caught me looking and shyly exclaimed, "they just look so real".  We can't say thank you enough, Grandpa - Dr. McHale, for giving us back a real smile.
