No substitutions." For our sides we ordered onion rings, sweet potato fries, pit beans, and macaroni and cheese as our sides. Appetizer - Chips and Queso tasted like nothing - bland. Meats - Brisket had good flavor, but dry. Instead of "fall off the bone" this rib meat was sealed to the bone. Dry. Chicken did not taste good. Pulled pork was decent - average. Sausage was flavorful. Burnt ends were delicious. Sides - Pit beans had good flavor - very sweet. Sweet potato fries were just sliced potato - no salt. Onion rings were solid but the onions were massive so they kinda just slid out of the batter. Macaroni and cheese was by far the biggest letdown. So bland. Cornbread was sweet but not overpowering. Total was $77 before tip and overall super disappointing. I hope to have good barbecue in Michigan one day, but today is not that day. We would not return.

The Zingerman's farm bread had such a good crust in it that I wound up buying a loaf to take home. Hubby ordered a 1/2 sandwich (Cuban) and cup of cactus chili. He asked for salami to be added to the sandwich cuz "that is how they make them in Miami". Both were very good! He also wound up getting a sweet treat afterwards. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch and I would go back again.

Everything came out hot, fresh, and well above typical fast-food quality. The Mac Bites were amazing, but the Winnebago sauce was definitely the star of the meal. I tried the Bacon Jam Burger with some regular fries…read more The burger was very good; the bacon jam gives a nice smoky flavor and the spicy pickles added a nice touch. Very much like a traditional smashburger; a little greasy, but mine was not overly greasy. Burgers are served wrapped in wax paper and that coupled with the decor gives a very old-school diner vibe. The fries were cooked perfectly. Golden & crispy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside. I ordered the regular fries (not the seasoned fries), but they were still a tad bit on the salty side. The staff was young, but they knew what they were doing. The grill man served up a tasty burger and the young lady working the register & delivering food provided service with a smile and answered all my questions as a first time customer. My only knock on this spot is that the lobby/dining room area needs a thorough deep cleaning. The table tops were sticky, the seats had a lot of crumbs and food on them, and the floor could use a mopping. Ketchup & mustard bottles were sticky as well. On the plus side, the kitchen area looked clean and tidy (you can see right into it from where you sit). But the tables and chairs definitely need some TLC.

I showed up three shifts in a row and was left waiting for Taylor to even arrive to let me in. Any questions and learning curves she just couldn't be bothered. The difference how she treated me to what was clearly her friends employees was very night and day. I messed up three orders in two different lunch rushes because when I got backed up and asked for help her only reply with an attitude was looking at cue cards. That's all fine when we aren't busy, but when you got 7 orders in a lunch rush and can't be bothered to even train your staff its very underwhelming. The walk in cooler has no light I been forced to use a flashlight to even try to do my job and the Fifo method. The sanitizer water is supposed to be 70° or luke warm, she copped an attitude when I inquired about what the online training said to hers she would leave it stagnant with cold for hours without changing it. The make line has been without refrigeration and I had to ice down the food to stay fresh. The music on the Bluetooth was always playing loud pop music she had control over nobody could think let alone eat in peace. The worst experience was being told to go on break and hour after I show up while she took multiple while on the job being paid runs to her car sits there hitting a vape pen multiple times a day. I appreciate the opportunity but clearly this manger was picked out of necessity cause she's terrible at her job. I called in my last day 35 minutes ahead of time said I was running behind cause I didn't wanna wait anymore without being paid and she said cool she is behind too and just vomited on the way it. I get there 6:50 and she refuses to teach me prep handed me the make lin packet to figure out myself thankfully I just took a photo for future reference to not annoy her or ask her to do her job. If you don't wanna do your job just don't be a manager your only as good as the trainer and I was a product of her work. Like I just wanted to do my job not attitude like anyone was trying to take the big girls position. Truly one of the most insane experiences I've ever had. I appreciate the opportunity I did have I guess the customers were so nice as well as the other staff. I guess I didn't fit her look for the store. I asked for corporate number or the owners she differs me to they will contact me when it's convenient the owner is on vacation. Good luck MI141 location it's clear why you don't have any consistency and long term customer base at this location. As far as customer service actual reviews If I can make any recommendations I love the Peanut butter paradise smoothie and the all American wraps with Chicken or sausage they are super delicious. Ps. to use tardiness as an excuse when the one day I was 10 minutes late I gave ample notice and made it there before open. She has made me wait multiple days this entire week for tardiness to open the store no notice till I asked where she was. I'm partially disabled I'm not waiting around for free to stand on my feet with tendon damage. If I'm scheduled for 6:30 or 7 I'd like to clock in at that time not when you feel like showing up to open the store.

The past couple of times I've been there, it just isn't what it used to be. When I first started having lunch at the Davisburg Subway, there were plenty of hard-working employees who actually cared about their job; now, it's the complete opposite. My lunches at Kroger are usually around 2 PM, but when that time comes at Subway, there is absolutely no excuse to have only one employee there during that time-frame. This is where I draw the line. I am not happy at all with the new people they hire because they just don't care, nor do they want to be there. What's even worse is that the Davisburg Kroger only has two restaurants: Highland House and, you guessed it, Subway. I sure hope we get some more restaurants in the near future, because I am extremely bored with Subway right now. End of story.
