Tualatin Dog Park. Tualatin, Oregon.
Lesley R.

This is a pretty nice dog park, from what I have seen so far. Granted it is nice and new and would have to see what my dog thinks of it when other dogs are actually there.......but, it is okay. It has a small dog section and a large dog section that share a double gated area. It has a plastic tube for people to donate bags to. It has 4 foot fences which often makes me go elsewhere (5 foot is best, I have seen my share of large dogs jumping into the small dog section when they have 4 foot fences). It has metal picnic tables, no shade, and a water pump out front. Took us a bit of time to figure out where it was as there were no signs that we could see. You can park under the railroad trestle (good for the first time so you know you are in the right place). It is behind the pump house, or whatever that thing is. There are covered picnic areas and the future soccer field right there with it if you get lost. It is kind of isolated, in the sense that I don't know that I would want to be out there by myself esp with all the walking trails. Oddly enough I would not mind being by myself at the Memorial Dog Park in Wilsonville which is also kind of isolated. Will be interesting to see if this dog park gets a following and, if so, who it will be. We often go for who else is there to play with.....so, if there is no one there? We can't go. If there are dogs who are not all that nice? Same deal.

I really appreciate that someone was brilliant enough to put bark down instead of grass! Way less muddy dogs! Yay! We went there for the first time today and really liked it. The area is beautiful.

After some rain you get the park to yourself. Just wear boots and bring a towel.

Such a nice dogpark. Clean, nice shelter space. Easy access from the parking lot and nice areas to walk through.

A good dog park with wood chips on the ground. Great dogs there, good size. Nothing too amazing though. I prefer it over Summerlake though.

I've done a lot for this dog park the shy timid park and advocating for this dog park by…read morecommunicating with park staff. I take suggestions from my dog park friends and got tables put in and a mud puddle that needed taken care of and got that taken care of and grass on tube and new sign and water and pools in summer. So I advocate for the dog park to make it a great place for dogs, and people been going to Hazelia dog park for a long time. My dog Lola has a great time playing fetch with her ball. I've picked up poo bags people left threw them away and pick up all the balls and put them back in bucket and fill water bowls for the dogs. Winter now I bring a pool for my dog Lola because she runs and gets hot with all her hair but I rinse out pool and take pool home with me everytime I leave the park since I purchased the pools from ace hardware. The only things that bug me about this park are the H.S students parking in round about by small dog park and they are fully capable able bodied students to walk to other parking lot but I have walking challenges yes there's handi cap but its a distance to walk. Why have a high school where students can't park there. The balls end up in pine tree and I have to fight with tree. I lost one of my balls in the pine tree it eats balls. Plus when the balls go over fence and then can't get them I physically cannot get over fence. People leaving poo bags on ground or on fence or on the trash can instead of throwing them away.
