This is a fantastic park. There are two entrances, one off of baseline to this park. There are paved trails down to the creek that runs through the park. there is a small meadow down by the creek and the trails go through older forest land. It can be very peaceful and quiet. It's fantastic to have essentially a wild forest so close to get a way, without having to go up to Mt. Hood for example. There is a picnic area near one parking lot. Bathrooms by both parking areas. Closes at dusk. The trails are supposed to be bike free, meaning no riding. Not everyone follows that, but if caught, I hear its a hefty fine. If you want a forest walk and don't want to go to far, this is the place to go.

Beautiful path..

Picturesque park that includes trails that cross a creek and lead to a small park with tables and Ramada's. Easy walk. I walked to loop twice for sustained exercise. Beautiful setting.

The park owners cut down way to many trees not very natural looking just looks like a logging area and every path leads to a parking lot you can't even eat at the tables that we pay taxes for don't recommend this park

Lovely local park with paved walkways through magical woods. Lovely trillium flowers in the spring.

It's small park with a short trail. But oh so gorgeous. I would highly recommend. It's also paved for those with strollers

*** Well here it is folks! Review #200 of my self imposed increase from 100 to 200 in the "Yelps 100 Review Challenge" for 2013! *** It's Christmas Eve day, it's 37 degrees. My sister and I have come to this beautiful park to exercise ourselves and the dogs! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/noble-woods-park-hillsboro?select=xnxtWSJEw_JZA7OmK6509A#xnxtWSJEw_JZA7OmK6509A I love it! It's like walking around in a forest. Oh, wait... this IS a forest! DAMN I wish we had places like this in MY area! Yes there are very nice parks, but not actual forests like this! There are wonderful walking and hiking trails, pathways, walkways, etc. Talk about a beautiful and serene place to go to, wow! This was a very enjoyable, albeit cold, nature-in-all-her-glory experience!

As good as it gets for a local park, there are several trails to choose from. And a good variety, and I agree with what another reviewer said about feeling unsafe, that is true. I've ran here by myself and felt a little bit nervous, but nothing bad has ever happened and it is a good network of trails.

Just visited this park today and I enjoyed it a lot! For a little park nestled in the suburbs, the winding trails through abundant tree groves almost felt like the Gorge :) There are multiple paths to follow and ample bathrooms/ parking at the entrances, which I appreciated. Quite a few trees had taken damage from the recent ice and snow storms, but they had been cut back and neatly stacked by the wayside so all the trails were easy to access. My dog had a great time sniffing this well-maintained park and that's what matters most! I just hope when I come back in the summer there will be more leaves.

Fun trail, peaceful creek!

This is our favorite park in the city and a nice oasis away from everything. When you're on the south side- keep your eyes peeled for owls.

Great park, great trails to explore with the pups. Walkways are a little slippery so be careful during fall, winter months.

So many different things to do here, a great spot to spend the day! If there was a negative, it's truly just how busy it is, and you can't hardly fault anyone - it's such a cool spot! This park is a total gem--thoughtfully designed, beautifully shaded, and perfect for families. There are plenty of swings and a great variety of play equipment to keep kids engaged for hours. One of the things I appreciated most was the visibility--there's seating thoughtfully placed all around the park, so no matter where your child is playing, you can easily keep an eye on them. There's even a grassy area under the trees where you can lay out a blanket and relax. Even on a hot day, the metal slides stayed cool thanks to the shade, which is a rare and welcome surprise! The kids there were all friendly, and the parents seemed attentive and involved, creating a really positive, safe vibe. My kids had a blast and would've stayed much longer if I hadn't forgotten snacks--lesson learned! We'll definitely be back, this time with a picnic and more time to explore.

This park has extensive walking trails, both paved and unpaved with lots of variety in the elevation which makes for a great workout with inclines and downhills. There are tons of trees but also lots of open space so you can experience the sun and also have plenty of shade. With benches and other built-in seating (retaining walls) throughout the park, there are so many places to take a break, enjoy the sights and sounds of nature or meditate. There is also a play area for the kids as well as picnic areas and a nice wood burning fireplace, and rest rooms nearby. There are also tennis courts and parking is plentiful. On this visit we ventured off to the left of the main trail and did some serious hiking up the hill, which we surprisingly discovered backs up to a nearby neighborhood. It felt like we were truly away in the woods even though civilization is so close by! This park is a true example of why I love Oregon so much. Nature is so accessible and part of the community, not separate or hard to get to. It's magical that you can literally cross the street from your house and be surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife.

Dog-friendly too, make sure they are on leashes tho. During some periods of the year, the park and trails get flooded so you can't walk in some areas but it's still cool to see.

I started playing Pokémon Go back when my daughter had a Pokémon Go themed party for my oldest grandson. I had no clue how to play it. I downloaded the app to participate..and the rest is history! So now, I'm trying to level up to level 50. I've performed the level 50 research tasks, and all that's left is grinding the XP! That's where Magnolia Park comes in! You can find me here many days catching Pokémon, spinning pokestops, battling the gym and leaving a pokemon, defending the gym, doing raids..but most of all, getting my exercise in by walking the routes. There are so many routes at Magnolia Park! I usually pick 4 or 5 to follow, it takes me about an hour of walking to complete. There's incline for a little more difficulty, some routes go across the street to the nearby meadow and back again. And after each route is complete, I am rewarded with XP and hopefully a Zygard cell. I'm trying to collect 200 Zygard cells to change my Zygard form. Anyways, Magnolia Park is great for picnics, there's a big covered area. On this day, there was a family celebration going on. Play areas for the kids, checkerboard tables to play checkers or chess, BYO game pieces. On this particular day we broke a temperature high of 96. Kids of all ages were enjoying the splash pad. There's a tennis court that I frequently play on. People also convert the court to play pickleball here. So much to do, I love it!

Yes, we live in Portland, but it DOES get very sunny here and very hot on some summer days. There isn't enough respite from that sun/heat. And the splash pad isn't on for all that long. What is the deal with that? What I DO love: 2 play structures, one for smaller kids, one for big kids. GREAT since there are options for smaller kiddos. I love that it has a nice big field/grassy area for kids to play soccer, or to picnic on (on a cooler day.) Do beware of the bees/hornets/wasps. The park doesn't have traps. Parking can be a bit tough, so try and make it there while school is in session so that you can park near by. There is a porta potty on site at the park, but it is NOT clean. I will either hold it, or go to the Whole Foods, in walking distance. My kids just use the potty in the trunk of the car because I won't make them use that one. NASTY! They have the makings of a 5 star park BUT: clean the porta potty, add some shade or sails over the play structure to help kids NOT fry in the heat and keep the splash pad on for far longer.
