We just returned from Rood Bridge, a quick first visit just to check it out. There are tennis courts, picnic areas, a large play ground, open grassy meadows, and lots of trails on which to wander. The trails were a mix of well-kept paved paths, narrower wood-chipped trails, and lesser groomed rocky ones with denser vegetation. We wandered along most of them, and they were very well shaded. Lots of beautiful song birds can be heard and seen along the trails, and we also spotted a couple of rabbits. This is a very nice, peaceful park with lots of options for families and those wanting some exercise.

Nice walking path. Great for strollers and wheelchairs.

Lovely park that has paths accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Bathrooms are ADA accessible also and very clean. Dogs must be leashed. Pretty pond and plenty of parking.

Corgi-approved!

This is a beautiful park, hospitable to walkers, joggers, bikers and dogs alike. There is a paved path through the woods and around a beautiful lily-pad laden pond. There are also a few dirt trail spurs. Parking is easy. They also have tennis courts, a play structure, and clean restrooms near the parking lot. It's fantastically quiet and beautiful. You feel like you are miles away from town. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful park with lots of trees and different areas for taking photos! I love coming here especially for family photos because there's plenty of space for the kids to run around and parents always say they want to come back to go for a walk around the park again.

My pup @schnubbles enjoying the day!

The park smelled horrible. There was dog poop in several spots, and the trails were super muddy. Lots of flooded areas too. Not a nice park

This park is fabulous: walking trails, a playground, big, grassy areas, covered picnic areas, everything you could want in a park. Lovely!

This park is a total gem--thoughtfully designed, beautifully shaded, and perfect for families. There are plenty of swings and a great variety of play equipment to keep kids engaged for hours. One of the things I appreciated most was the visibility--there's seating thoughtfully placed all around the park, so no matter where your child is playing, you can easily keep an eye on them. There's even a grassy area under the trees where you can lay out a blanket and relax. Even on a hot day, the metal slides stayed cool thanks to the shade, which is a rare and welcome surprise! The kids there were all friendly, and the parents seemed attentive and involved, creating a really positive, safe vibe. My kids had a blast and would've stayed much longer if I hadn't forgotten snacks--lesson learned! We'll definitely be back, this time with a picnic and more time to explore.

The grass gets pretty soggy during winter but is great when it's dry out. Tables are shaded and close to both play areas. There is a single restroom near the play area and a portapotty next to the parking lot on the other side of the park. This is a great spot to watch the air show from during the summer.

We were totally oblivious (and obviously blind) that there was a cute little playground just a couple hundred feet away. After discovering the park it has quickly became my kids favorite. Lots of fun distractions for them, but their favorite part of the park by far is the zip line. They aren't quite tall enough to reach it by themselves, so Dad is the one who whips the bar to them so they can fly down and sometimes into each other. Yeah I didn't like it at first, but they like it...Daddy lets them play. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that the maintenance needs to be improved. At least on the zip line which is where they play the most. One of them is really rusted and it doesn't work so well anymore. Another issue is the masking for COVID. I always have masks ready for all of us if there are others (no matter who or how many). Unfortunately it seems like not everyone does this. I encourage everyone to practice safe play and help control the spread as much as possible.

I was able to take some good pictures and explore all the park has to offer-beautifully manicured walking paths, playgrounds, swings, picnic table area, fire pit and a nature education area across the street. For starters, this is one of the few fully fenced parks that I know of in the area and it is significantly less busy than Hidden Creek. It's also quite a bit smaller so it's easier to watch your kiddo while still letting them have the freedom to run around. There are two structures, one for 2-5 year olds and then one for bigger kids. There are no toddler swings but they do have a double swing with seats in it if your child is halfway between needing a toddler swing and using a standard swing. We typically spend about an hour here each time we visit and could easily stay longer. There are some picnic tables under a sheltered structure right next to the fenced in playground that you can do lunch at and they do have restrooms on site. The parking is street parking in a residential neighborhood and I've never had a hard time finding a spot. The entire area is clean and well kept.

I started playing Pokémon Go back when my daughter had a Pokémon Go themed party for my oldest grandson. I had no clue how to play it. I downloaded the app to participate..and the rest is history! So now, I'm trying to level up to level 50. I've performed the level 50 research tasks, and all that's left is grinding the XP! That's where Magnolia Park comes in! You can find me here many days catching Pokémon, spinning pokestops, battling the gym and leaving a pokemon, defending the gym, doing raids..but most of all, getting my exercise in by walking the routes. There are so many routes at Magnolia Park! I usually pick 4 or 5 to follow, it takes me about an hour of walking to complete. There's incline for a little more difficulty, some routes go across the street to the nearby meadow and back again. And after each route is complete, I am rewarded with XP and hopefully a Zygard cell. I'm trying to collect 200 Zygard cells to change my Zygard form. Anyways, Magnolia Park is great for picnics, there's a big covered area. On this day, there was a family celebration going on. Play areas for the kids, checkerboard tables to play checkers or chess, BYO game pieces. On this particular day we broke a temperature high of 96. Kids of all ages were enjoying the splash pad. There's a tennis court that I frequently play on. People also convert the court to play pickleball here. So much to do, I love it!

Yes, we live in Portland, but it DOES get very sunny here and very hot on some summer days. There isn't enough respite from that sun/heat. And the splash pad isn't on for all that long. What is the deal with that? What I DO love: 2 play structures, one for smaller kids, one for big kids. GREAT since there are options for smaller kiddos. I love that it has a nice big field/grassy area for kids to play soccer, or to picnic on (on a cooler day.) Do beware of the bees/hornets/wasps. The park doesn't have traps. Parking can be a bit tough, so try and make it there while school is in session so that you can park near by. There is a porta potty on site at the park, but it is NOT clean. I will either hold it, or go to the Whole Foods, in walking distance. My kids just use the potty in the trunk of the car because I won't make them use that one. NASTY! They have the makings of a 5 star park BUT: clean the porta potty, add some shade or sails over the play structure to help kids NOT fry in the heat and keep the splash pad on for far longer.
