Servings of fries are enormous, a large literally comes in its own bag to accommodate it. Topped off with a huge menu of shakes, this place is an absolute treat. Best burger around, in my opinion. A somewhat odd location attached to a convenience store, but don't let that fool you.

I was also happy to know they offered a turkey burger option! It's not Smashburger worthy - but it's a solid option among the burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and cheesesteaks on offer. And then they closed. Literally. This summer they closed for a mild renovation - something about the floor and drainage. They said they'd reopen in a month. That was three months ago. Fast forward and they finally re-opened last week. Solid burger freshly cut and fried French fries and onion ring options are available. As well as hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and veggie burger as well as a 'legendary' plant based burger. I got my turkey burger and it was delish with Z sauce. So I'm definitely a fan. Prices are closer to $10 than $5 for a burger - but they are freshly prepared and fried to order, which helps the flavor (and price premium). The lobby area was mildly updated - they definitely put in that new floor. They cut part of the wall so it feels more open - but that also exposes the adjoining convenience store. There are literally 8 chairs and 4 tables all alongside the wall so this isn't primarily a dine in location - but it's nice there is a dine in option. Most folks are going to grab and go though - or utilize the myriad delivery options. Welcome back, Z Burger. I'll see you soon.

We shared the crispy eggplant and shrimp skewers, and both were excellent. We each ordered a cocktail too, and everything hit the spot. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

So, let's start with food. Once we were seated and greeted by Sara, we sat around and talked for a bit before deciding what we wanted. The drink menu is wild so I opted for a beer. After all, it is a brewery! I opted for an IPA, my friend also ordered a beer (Dark & Stormy, a dark beer), and the other ordered a drink. Although my beer was 11%, it wasn't bitter and tasted juicy! It was good. I got the fish & chips w/coleslaw, one friend ordered onion rings and the other ordered salmon. Those onion rings were banging! and the coleslaw was pretty good too. Who doesn't love some fish & chips. Sometimes you just want something crispy! Overall, the food was decent. But let's talk about the general store-----------WOW! It's stocked with EVERYTHING!! Mugs, puzzles, seasonings, socks, leggo's, books, anything you can imagine. It's wild! Then......they also have liquor and beer. I'm talking craft beer, good wine, etc. Oh, and let's throw in an ice cream shop. Yes, an ice cream shop. They have everything! Check it out for yourself!

Somehow, I had only been to this place during the winter time, but it is a completely different vibe during the warmer months. The outdoor space is stunning, and everything just feels brighter and happier. The staff are really nice, the patrons are enjoying themselves, and they just have excellent food. My friend and I happen to come during this fashion show event so there were complimentary hors d'oeuvres for everybody present, but we still ordered delicious deviled eggs (I could've eaten a whole tray of them) and had some great cocktails. You know, for the first time ever, I paid attention to a bunch of board games that they have on a shelf. But based on the stuff that's on the shelf in front of them, I am not 100% sure that they are up for grabs, but it still looks cool. Anyone who is in this area should definitely pay them a visit. You won't regret it.

My friend and I showed up for a late lunch, and after I stood waiting for service for almost five minutes, the bartender finally came closer to me and said the kitchen was closed. Also, I had previously visited this restaurant for happy hour and found the food and service to be average.

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty. The cook was sitting at one of the tables and the waitress was behind the bar (they don't serve alcohol) hoping someone would come in. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. We did not go downstairs but I'm assuming there are plenty of seats like upstairs. We ordered the hangry breakfast, which came with French toast, eggs and potatoes, the salmon burger and the chicken & waffles. It's a good thing we ordered so much becaus the chicken and waffles only comes with 4 wingettes. We ordered water but were told they were out of ice. Instead my wife ordered a $4 CANNED SODA because that is the only thing they had cold. $4 for a can is insane by the way. Since we were the only ones in the establishment we expected the food to come quickly but that seemed to take 20-25 minutes as well. Our food eventually arrived. The French toast was good. Flavorful but small. Sandwhich bag slices of bread. The potatoes were clearly from the Walmart frozen foot section. The eggs were ok. My wife's waffle was cool however the chicken was BLAND and SEASONLESS. We didn't even finish them. For $18 I expected more. The salmon burger was by far the best thing there. A thick cut of salmon that was flavorful. We should have gotten two of those. The waitress was nice. The food is overpriced. I should have known when we walked in and the place was empty. Not sure how they stay open having brunch without alcohol but to each is own. One and done for me as a neighborhood guy. The food isn't great and the prices are high. No reason to return.

Both were excellent and packed with flavor. The real test for me was the drive home. I live about 40 minutes away, so I didn't get to eat my sandwich right away. To my surprise, it was still warm when I got home and just as good as if I had eaten it there. That's not something you can say about most sandwiches. The fries were a pleasant surprise as well. Crispy, flavorful, and addicting enough that they barely survived the ride home. Beyond the food, I really enjoyed the shop itself. There was a great selection of specialty meats, seasonings, sauces, and unique items that made me want to take my time and look around. The place was packed, which is usually a good sign, and after trying the food, I completely understand why. It's not often that a first visit lives up to the hype, but this one did. Great food, a well-curated shop, and absolutely worth the drive. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Total came out to approximately $40. What's hot - Menu. Pretty decent menu. There are vegan options, as well. That you can customize your burger, such as substituting a lettuce wrap for the bun, is also great. - Packaging. Aside from the packaging of the fries, which is explained below, the burgers were wrapped up well. They also labeled the wrappers on the outside, so we could tell which one was exactly which order. Helpful. Additionally, my mushroom burger was wrapped well in the lettuce and did not fall apart easily, which I really appreciated, because that's less of a mess. - Quality. The toppings to my burger- tomatoes, onions and lettuce were all fresh. The jalapeños were decently spicy and their spicy relish on their fiery fries are pretty good, as well. Good flavor. - Service. Our order was ready within the appropriate estimated time they gave us. What's not - Fries. Needs work. They're soft and soggy. To be fair, the spicy radish sauce on their fiery fries is pretty spicy and has a good flavor. However, the texture of their fries is a detractor. - Packaging. Their fries were not in a takeaway container. Instead, it was sandwiched between 2 cardboard bowl containers. Messy and another detractor. - Quality. Not the best, but not bad. I've had better. This is not the first place to come to mind when I think of good burgers. - Portions. Not enough to get us full, including the side of fries we ordered. - Price. Given the aforementioned, not good value for money, especially given that we were still hungry afterwards. Final Answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

We looked up the receipt and realized one of us ordered the similar to their signature- called elevation burger but it came with two patties while I ordered custom with one patty. So I immediately went to the cashier and told that I ordered that but wanted it in the signature- elevation burger instead of my custom which is exactly same as their elevation except 2 patties. The cashier stated she can't do that and I have to pay $4.23 for extra patty. While if I changed it to elevation burger and it's only $1 difference. I know they're able to adjust and change my order to elevation burger without any issue. But unfortunately the cashier refused. So rate for customer satisfaction is none but only can give 1 star. For food itself, 4 stars for fries and 5 stars for burgers. Result 3 stars.
