Great spot for deli sandwiches. Boar's Head products. Quick and cheap. Breakfast is good as well. Friendly neighborhood service.

It's smack in the middle of a chaotic,…read moregentrifying area in a mini-mall next to a Burlington Coat Factory, Old Navy Outlet and an excellent Flaming Grill and Buffet. The ENTIRE structure has FREE parking on the roof via a wide accessible ramp off of Bedford and Tilden avenues. An elevator leads directly to the market entrance. The produce section is VAST. Most products appear to be from Mexico and South America. Yuca, and plantains are on deck. Mountains of fresh ginger, garlic, poblanos, nopal and kabocha are regularly in stock. Pre cut fruit and veggies are available at attractive prices. And a little birdie told me they will even process the fruit or vegetable of your choice if asked. A prepared foods section can be found beyond the produce offering fries, fried potatoes, chicken, samosas, chicharonnes, white and fried rice and more. You gotta get there early though cuz it's very popular with the nearby construction crowd. The deli, seafood, and butcher take up the entire rear of the store. I haven't had a chance to visit but I noticed they were well staffed. I would recommend visiting at least once to see the offerings and then downloading their app. Free delivery is available for orders over $100.

The produce at C-town is better than Whole Foods, Key Foods, Union Market and Fairway…read more I actually go to Fairway for regular groceries and then go to this C-town specifically for the produce: watercress, parsley, cilantro, everything is always very fresh, and rotated, i very rarely see anything rotting or wilting. It is also at least *half the price* of Whole Foods or Fairway. Whoever is in charge of the Produce is doing an excellent job. We just bought green beans last night and they were truly perfect. They have several organic options available more recently: milk, eggs, would be great if they added additoinal organic meats, Murray's chicken, for instance. Their beer selection is fantastic. It's a great small neighborhood grocery store - can't complain!

I am deeply upset and extremely disappointed with this store. I will never come back here again,…read moreeven though it is the closest supermarket to my house. They have officially lost a loyal customer. Today, I tried to return imitation crab meat and two tilapia fish that were completely spoiled and smelled strongly of soap, chemicals, and laundry detergent. To make matters worse, the plastic packaging tray holding the crab meat was filthy, with visible brown dirt all around the edges. I literally showed this dirt to them, but they completely ignored it and said nothing. Instead of handling the issue professionally, the staff was incredibly hostile. The cashier was speaking to me in a very loud tone, practically yelling, and didn't give me a single chance to explain the situation. She openly humiliated and defamed me in front of other customers, loudly shouting: "I don't believe you, you are lying, you are a cheat!" The manager was also extremely rude to me and completely refused to listen to a single word I had to say. They flatly refused to issue a refund and forced me to exchange the ruined products for something else. I had to buy eggs that I didn't even need--since I had just bought two huge cartons from this very store yesterday--just to not lose my money. This is a direct violation of consumer rights. Furthermore, this is not the first awful experience I've had here. I am of Asian descent, and yesterday, on July 4th, around 2:00 PM, two young male employees who were stocking shelves in the dairy and egg section openly mocked me. As I walked past, they started mimicking and mocking the Chinese language, laughing at me. When I turned around and we made direct eye contact, they didn't even care--they just kept talking, mimicking the Chinese language, and mocking me right to my face while looking me up and down with an incredibly judgmental glare. It was during that exact same visit yesterday that I bought those two large cartons of eggs. It made me feel incredibly hurt, insulted, and completely ruined my mood. Between selling toxic, chemical-smelling food, using filthy packaging, public verbal abuse from the cashier, the total lack of professionalism from the manager, the illegal refund policy, and the disgusting, discriminatory behavior from the staff, I highly recommend everyone avoid this place. I am also filing official complaints with NYC 311 and the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets.
