Got in quick for an eyebrow waxing. They laid me on a cloth bed, i didn't see a hamper, so i'm assuming everyone lays on the same linen which is kinda gross. I wasn't really impressed with my eye brows. I had to go home and clean up some of the hairs, which i don't think i should have to if i'm paying for a service. read more

Please Please do not waste your time or money!!!!! Went in Saturday afternoon and there was only one elderly gentleman working. Was seen immediately, due to the shop being empty, which should have been my first clue. Received a manicure and a pedicure with gel polish and was charged 90.00!!!!!! He argued with me when I requested several things specific on my feet, and during the polishing. My feet are not smooth, the polish is all over the place and my nails look atrocious! I have stopped in several times to see if anyone else is working to correct my nails, and it seems he is the only person. I will now have to pay another salon to fix his mistakes. read more

I used to frequent this nail salon about every 6 weeks for a couple of years. I just stumbled across these reviews, and thought about how I didn't leave a review, after I decided that my last time here, was my last time! Like a lot of the reviews here, not everytime is the same. Sometimes great, sometimes okay, sometimes, just down right crappy! I only had a pedi a few times. Worse pedicures I've ever had. No warm towels. The sea salt scrub, which cost extra, lasted about 20 seconds. So, I only had acrylics put on and filled here at TT Nails. Since I acrylic nails, and after they'd been 'filled' several times, I'd decide to have the old soaked off, and a new set put on. They would argue with me. I know it's going to take more time to soak them off, but it should still be my choice. I even broke the acrylic nails off prior to going in, and worked on getting all off of my real nails, before going in for a new full set. I was always happy with the new full sets, at least until my last time at TT Nails. I don't see where I can attach a photo. I would share the horrid, thick, gooey gel polish that they weren't ashamed one bit about charging me full price for. That's the thing about these walk in nail salons. If there are customers waiting, they will hurry through your service, charge you the same price, just so they can earn more money from the next client. Unless it's changed in the last 6 months , there's only 2 nail techs. Husband and wife. Gary and Helen, I believe are their names. They are not the owners. They have a sister salon in Castleton too, I believe. I stuck with them for quite awhile. I'm not even sure why!!! I went somewhere else for pedicures. A couple of years ago, I went in around 2:30 several times. The man would be the only one there. Helen would leave, to pick up her daughter from school, in New Pal. So he'd be your only choice to do your nails. And yes, like others have reviewed.... the man does act really grouchy! He does huff n puff A LOT. Even when he was using the drill to clean under the nail tip, and drilled too deep, which instinctively made me jump, causing blood that took forever to stop! He acted very irritated with ME! I went in for a pedicure and there was no one in line or anything, while other salons had 45 minutes to an hour of a wait. It smelled strongly of stuff burning and was not pleasant. The only guy working was very rough and barely spoke 5 words to me. My polish came out absolutely awful(as you can see from the photos). I went with a friend and hers came out okay. They weren't terrible but they weren't the best. Her polish was darker than mine which covered up most mistakes that were very apparent on mine. We are visiting from out of state and decided to stop in for some early morning girls time. It was 9:30 am the place was empty but only one elderly man was working. There was 5 of us total . Two adults and 3 little girls whom wanted their nails painted. The man working was grumpy and his work reflected that. We were charged $50 for a pedicure. I'm not sure if those prices are consistent with this area. The man kept arguing that my daughter should have gel on her nails. She's 4 and picks it off so I kept declining. My older nieces were allowed to get Gel. Our total cost for today for one pedicure, one fill, and 3 little girls to get their nails painted was 150+..... I don't even pay that in Hawaii where we live. If the service matched the price it would be different. My friends pedicure had shellac on the sides of her toes and I have bubbles in my gel. My nails were not entirely painted. He has other customers come in and seat them so they were all waiting for 45+ minutes while we completed our party. The Salon is very clean, my Tech Helen was very pleasant and funny, and she did a fabulous job. I have been back twice since... all three experiences have been great. I decided to treat myself to a pedicure and a set of nails yesterday and went to TT Nails while in Greenfield. I was the only person in the salon and was glad due to the COVID scare and businesses just starting to open up. Well... $90 down the drain. I hate my nails! They are SO THICK. The polish uneven and they look like a 3 year old was playing nail spa and tried to do my nails. I am so disappointed. One start was because the pedicure was OK. The nails were HORRIBLE and I would tell anyone to avoid this place. I should have made them redo my nails but I really don't think it would have made a difference. read more

It's been awhile since I went to this so I had a extra time today and new I could stop in and get a fill and pedi done relatively cheaper than the other places in town. I have tiny nails on my toes. I'm aware of this and know they can be hard to paint but most do a good job today qas an exception. My toes look like my 3 yr old did them and my fill was good but they epolish job was awful. On my nail and cuticles. This is the last time I go. He didn't cut down my nails either. I'm going to go back tomorrow and see if they will redo at no cost. read more

I'm writing another review. This place should be shut down!! I am in a wheelchair and do not use my feet or legs. I have been going here since 8-26-21. This was my fourth visit. I paid 50 for a pedi. Days later my toes were so infected that I couldn't bear it. I originally thought I would go back to complain and demand them to fix it. Then I saw pictures of my toes and decided to pay someone else hoping this would help. I trusted TT nails to care for my feet. I can't blame the man. Both Of them have worked on my feet over the last 6 months. I had so many ingrown nails that had to be cut out. The new place dug out so much skin, dirt, and nail. Again, I trusted TT and they betrayed me in the most awful way. I do not walk but need my feet to stand. Now I am on the mend. I included pictures of my toes on the final visit. You can see all the ingrown nails, the gel Polish was packed into the sides of nail. Final pic is this all cleaned up. Notice how far they had to cut down to get all nail out. 3 weeks of medicine on toes and maybe I can get clear Polish. Shame on you TT Nails read more

So today I went in for a full set with a gel polish, I wanted them short enough so that it would be easy for me to do work. When I got there no one else was there but the man and so there should have been no need to rush with doing my nails. I sat down and he started to do his job. After he put the acrylic on he started to file my nails I began to start bleeding from him putting so much pressure on my skin and nails he apologize and then continued his work. After filing he didn't have me wash my hands or wipe off any dust he just began to put the gel polish on. By the time everything was said and done it cost me $45!!! I feel as though my nails should have only been $25 considering I did not ask for that length, they aren't even straight, i was bleeding, and they were so bulky. Over all I was not pleased at all from this experience at TT Nails, if you do decide to go I would definitely just go for a pedicure read more

I used to like this place but not after today. I got a pedi & gel mani. My feet were horrible when I left. My mani was done while doing my pedi. I had to twist around for her to do my nails. the whole thing was very uncomfortable. She barely filed my nails, did nothing with my cuticles & just put some polish on. Not even the color I chose. She said she was in a hurry because they were doing her nails when I came in & she wanted to finish them. Then they charged me the same as they would have if it all had been done correctly. I've been here twice, and the first time I went I had a great pedicure, my feet were in awesome condition after that. I was pregnant at the time, so I couldn't bend down to really care for them. My French pedicure lasted a long time and my feet were soft and relaxed. Just today I stopped in for a manicure and it was done very well! The shop is in ok condition, but the most important thing is that the service they provide is done nicely, and the price is reasonable. read more

I was in town for the holidays and had an hour to spare before meeting a friend who lives nearby. I selected a red polish and proceeded to the station I was directed to. I wish I could tell you the guy's name, but he did not introduce me and spoke about 3 words the entire time. He started filing my nails into a square shape and seemed grumpy when I asked for oval. The shaping wasn't great but wasn't horrible. The guy seemed to have a steadily hand but he smudged red polish on the sides of the nails on the skin. I was embarrassed but couldn't do much about it because I was meeting a friend and then going to dinner with another friend right after that. Much of the excess polish scrubbed away in the shower over the next couple of days. The nail polish itself was very thin. I suspect it had been thinned out rather than having them get rid of it or opening a fresh bottle. This was the sloppiest manicure I've ever had and I do not recommend this salon. read more
