Smoothies (16 oz) cost $10, bowls/soups cost $12.50, and noodles/entrees cost $13.50. With all this convenience, it is a darn shame that the food is so horrible. I have tried other food delivery services and this is the only one that fails to pack their food in the right temperatures. Whereas other places will put ice packets to keep everything cool so it doesn't spoil, this place does not. They claim to put dry ice but I didn't find any of it in my box. Either it sublimated or it wasn't there in the first place. They forgot to put two of my meals in my order so I wouldn't be surprised if the dry ice was forgotten. It explains why most of the food taste slightly tangy and spoiled. Some of the meal boxes were just completely open. There was one meal where the plastic seal was open. Now either through bad temperature control or not, all the meals I had were not good. One of the smoothies wasn't even blended all the way because of all the heavy chunks in it. Lastly, I had to chase down customer service just to get a refund on my missing items. Their claim was that the item had "run out." But if the items ran out, how come I was able to select them for my order. Overall, a horrible experience. Try going with a company that knows how to properly ship items so that they don't spoil.

Long story short, I have had around 25 deliveries from them over a year and a half, and at least eight of them have had an issue. The issues range from items missing from my order (this happened 3 times), items being opened and spilling all over the other items (twice), items being swapped out in my order without asking/telling me first (once), and items sent in my order that literally expired the day I received the box (once). I finally got fed up and cancelled my subscription yesterday, because after they refunded 3 smoothies from my last order due to subbing out ones I did not want, they then only sent me 7 of the 10 smoothies I ordered and paid for in this most recent box. The part of their company that does the packaging has got to be the most incompetent group of people I have ever encountered in a shipping business. They need to fire everyone in that department, including management, and then rehire with new trainers. Utterly frustrating and ridiculous.

Nope, got an email from UPS stating deliver scheduled. I just received the order 24hours or less, wow. There is was delay with shipping the product our the door as other do some times. Also, the quality of the veal was 100% better than I received from a competitor. I will definitely purchase from them again, most likely will try steak.

A lot of folks will see Kwafood Fried Skewer (#2), but the key is to walk past the skewer display and discover a separate business on the inside. What one will find is Sichuan style street food, which features a customizable dry hot pot (麻辣香鍋) with fried skewers and almost next-to-zero service. It is open late and has a decent amount of seating, especially between 2-3AM. The format is simple: Grab a bowl and begin choosing from the open fridge for all the meats, fishballs, seafood, and vegetables. Drinks are usually on the top shelf. Once assembled with a proper spice level, the meal is whipped together by the staff, and served on a tray. It doesn't come cheap at $20 a pound, but the other spots are either closed or too far away to consider any alternative. While the food isn't mind blowing, this is worthy in a pinch. Dry hot pot is usually fun, but folks can also enjoy their selection with soup if they please. The spice levels are from 1-5 and anyone who can tolerate the latter half are serious spice lords.
