Goat cheese and fig eggs Benedict special
Madison K.

After struggling through finding parking on a Saturday morning, I put my name in for my table for 2 and waited to be called. They told us our table would be ready in about 20-25 minutes, but probably less time than that since it was just two of us and we were okay with the bar. It still took over 25 minutes, however, but that's okay, I get it. Popular place on the weekend. It's a big restaurant with a nice bar area and plenty of tables to sit at. It feels very family friendly but also good for getting breakfast with a friend or significant other! They were out of the first drink I ordered, a vanilla latte off the spring menu, so I got the caramel cold brew instead, which I enjoyed. It was really tough ordering my entree because so many things sounded so good. I got the fig and prosciutto eggs Benedict, which I liked. The home fries were really good. I would definitely want to come back to sample the non-Benedict offerings and maybe get the coffee I wanted to try. Service was a little slow. I mean, it was pretty busy so that's okay, but asking for water or for the check took a hot second.

New England Brunch Bowl and Big Rhody Platter

loved this place! very cozy and cute. service was quick on a tuesday morning and friendly. my boyfriend and i got the morning sunrise juice. so yummy 10/10 it has an original flavor. To eat, we got the big rhody platter and the new england brunch bowl and dang was it good 10/10 wouldnt change a thing...actually only thing i would've preferred is if the butter was a little more spreadable, but seriously the food was basically perfect. very flavorful and good quality. only thing keeping me from a rating it 5 stars is not being able to try all the other drinks and food items on the menu. too bad im only visiting.

Happy new year all! We decided to roll into a place for breakfast and drinks. T's was the winner. Lucky them. Kicking off 2025's queer o meter T's slam dunks a winner with a perfect score of 10! T's is consistent and solid with their food, staff and ambiance. IMO it's not fancy, however over the years they've updated their menu and ingredients crept in like goat cheese, nitrate free bacon and chicken sausage patties. All things I love and they pair them well. The avocado toast is piled high and with an egg on the side is a filling breakfast. I like my toast crispier to resist the soggy inducing topping but that's a personal preference. Pancakes? Spot on. Eggs done as ordered, over easy can be touch and go but they nailed it. The bloody was "ok" but I'm really a snob about my bloody Mary's - a realllll snob. Overall it was fine and I'd get one again if we came here. My only con is the coffee. I do like a rich deep dark cup of coffee. Theirs is hot and in the mid range of fine. Again I'd still get a mug full when coming. Which by the way. I LOVE their coffee mugs! All custom clay thick mugs that are so nice to hold and warm your hands on! That's all for me for now, welcome to 2025 all my foodies! Cheers!

Had such a lovely brunch outside on the deck. Waitress was attentive and pleasant. In the spring flowers line the entrance and it truly is a beautiful sight. Lots of delicious menu items. This time around we ordered brunch and couldn't have been happier.

Avocado, toast, and Crispy Seasoned Home Fries

Food/Drinks: T's is one of my favorite breakfast spots! The food is so delicious, and they have so many options with reasonable prices! My favorite is the avacado toast with an egg. They always get my eggs exactly how I want them, and the avocados are to die for. If I could I'd eat it every day not even joking lol ! The hot chocolate is great, and they aren't shy with the whip cream. They have so many other options of foods and all so delicious my family and I love it ! Location: The location is very clean, cute, and modern. It definitely a nice breakfast spot. Its very family friendly. The attire is casual. They have parking in the back, and street parking. The location in Cranston is pretty popular so on the weekends the parking can get completely full at times. Service: the service is great ! Always quick, attentive, and all have been friendly by far. I 10/10 recommend!

Not bad, but not great. Some of my foodie friends told me T's used to be THE breakfast spot, but they're no longer what they used to be. Typical diner food. The sausages and bacon were smaller than other locations and lacked anything special. My partner told me the chicken sausage tasted like the ones you get in the frozen section at the market. Service was friendly though and no wait to be seated on a holiday. A quick fix if you're in the area.

The food was amazing, service was great our waitress was on top of it with our food. Ambiance was good, not too loud. My dish was delicious but what I like the most was the home fries;)

I parked on the street since the parking lot was full. Inside Dee's Deli is very cozy, various awards they have earned hanging on the wall, and merchandise. There are about 4 seating tables. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon about 12:30pm, the line was up to the door. We waited in line about 15 minutes prior to placing our order and they were almost out of bread. Sandwiches come in a small or large size. I got the small daily special steak sandwich with Shaved Steak, American & Provolone Cheese, Mushrooms & Onions and my husband got the small build your own roast beef sandwich with Mayonnaise, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Provolone cheese. We also got a side of macaroni salad. After a few more people ordered, they had only multigrain bread left and then after a few minutes, they were out of multigrain and moving onto wraps. It was still maybe 1 hour prior to closing. Right by the line to order, there is a fridge of drinks. I got an iced tea. The bread was very fresh and a perfect combination with the Shaved Steak, Cheese, Mushrooms & Onions. The sandwich was so tasty. I also really enjoyed the macaroni salad. Dee's Deli seems to be a neighborhood gem and have many regular customers. I can definitely see why. Service was friendly and wonderful.

Let me just say... what a great choice! I was also told that their bread comes from LaSalle Bakery, which immediately had me excited because I LOVE LaSalle Bakery. And the bread definitely did not disappoint. It was fresh, delicious, and made the entire sandwich even better. This is NOT your average deli. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell there was a lot of care put into the sandwich. I normally have a pretty good stopping point and would probably only eat half of a sandwich like this, but it was so good that I literally couldn't stop myself. I ate the entire thing! I am officially stuffed now, lol, but it was 100% worth it. The Atomic was absolutely delicious, the bread was amazing, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations for my first visit. Whitney Houston a few minutes earlier. Taylor Dayne before that. Huey Lewis somewhere in the rotation too. Somebody behind that counter was a kid in the late eighties and built the playlist around the songs they grew up with while the food their grandparents brought over from Italy came out of the oven twenty feet away. Lou Umberto opened this place in 2017 after graduating from Johnson and Wales. His family is from Cerreto Sannita, a hill town in Campania. He set up shop on Cranston Street, just outside Knightsville, on the edge of one of the oldest Italian neighborhoods in the city. Lauren and I went on a Monday afternoon. Gray skies. One of those quiet Rhode Island days where lunch slowly becomes dinner without anybody announcing the transition. Before we got inside, one of the guys working there was helping an elderly woman through the side door and walking her back toward her car with her groceries. That told me most of what I needed to know. Walk in and the room is doing four jobs at once without any of them getting in the others' way. Shelves stacked with imported groceries. Rummo pasta. Loacker wafers. Baci chocolates. Bottles of olive oil lined up beside jars of tomatoes and peppers. Along the opposite wall sits a long deli case full of prepared food. Eggplant parm. Broccoli rabe. Pasta in vodka sauce. Stuffed banana peppers. Pasta salad. Roasted vegetables. Then the bakery case. Tomato pie cut in squares with red sauce all the way to the edge and enough seasoning on top to perfume the whole counter. Potato pizza. Calzones. Spinach pies stacked on black trays. The kind of food that makes people walk in for one thing and leave with six. Near the front, bags of pizzelle tied shut with twist ties sat on a wire rack underneath a hanging sign that read Welcome Family and Friends. Normally signs like that feel decorative. This one didn't. And behind all of it, through the opening in the back, sat the brick oven. That being said. The pizza. The pepperoni pie came out raised on a metal stand by the window, the Italian flag moving outside in the gray afternoon behind it. Good looking pizza immediately. No stunt toppings. No overloaded nonsense. Just confidence. The pepperoni was placed, not dumped. Natural casing cups charred dark at the edges. Maybe fifteen slices total across the whole pie. Somebody understood restraint. The crust landed somewhere just outside classic New York style. Slightly thicker, but only enough to give the inside some chew. The outer rim puffed up high in spots and blistered dark from the oven. Flour still clung to the bottom and the back edge from the peel. The sauce tasted bright and barely cooked. In some bites it pushed forward sharp and fresh. In others it melted completely into the cheese. Sometimes all you tasted was crust, and that worked too. The cheese browned into amber patches across the surface that pure mozzarella usually doesn't create by itself. Probably some provolone mixed in there. I didn't ask. I should have asked. And the slice held beautifully. Crisp underneath. Enough structure to fold slightly at the front without collapsing. You could see the care in it immediately. Nothing rushed. Nothing overloaded. Nothing trying too hard. Just a very good neighborhood pizza made by people who seem to understand exactly what kind of place they want this to be. The kind of place where somebody helps an elderly woman through the side door before getting back to work. The kind of place that makes you think living nearby might not be the worst idea in the world. Don't forget to grab a bag of pizzelle on the way out.

Saturday is not the usual day I break my parents out of where they live…read more That is a Sunday tradition. We go to lunch, get groceries, take care of whatever needs taking care of, and spend a few hours together away from their usual routine. This week, I changed the schedule for Catanzaro's Pizzeria. I wanted to see Anthony and thank him in person for the generous donation Catanzaro's made to The Pizza Principal Kickstarter. That donation helped get us over the top earlier this week. I also wanted my parents to experience the food at a place so many people in this community consider THE BEST. We ordered a caprese salad, meatballs, and a cheese, pepperoni, and olive pizza. The family order. My mother is pretty renowned for her meatballs, so restaurant meatballs have a difficult assignment when they arrive at our table. My family has opinions. Strong ones. My mother took a bite and immediately started comparing them to her own. "These are exactly the same as mine." "I'm so excited." "This is amazing." "I can't believe it." Then my father tried one. He looked at my mother. He looked at me. "The best meatballs I've ever had." That is not a sentence my father hands out casually. The pizza had to follow that, and it did. My parents, like me, have spent six decades believing that another very established, iconic Rhode Island pizzeria unquestionably makes the best pizza in the state. But then Catanzaro's made their case. By the end of lunch, my parents were willing to admit that Catanzaro's can go toe to toe with anybody, anywhere. They loved the food. They loved the service. They loved Anthony. And I loved watching them discover something new together. That is the part I will remember. Not just that the food was outstanding, although it was. Not just that Catanzaro's helped get The Pizza Principal over the finish line, although they did. I got to sit across from my parents while a restaurant they had never tried changed their minds about something they thought they had already settled decades ago. That is a heck of a Saturday. Thank you, Anthony. Thank you to everyone at Catanzaro's. You fed my parents, helped make a film happen, and gave our family a new chapter in an old argument. I could not be more grateful.
