The project was completed quickly and at the quoted price. Although this was not the lowest quote we received, Dmitrii's honesty during the consultation phase helped earn our trust. (He accurately flagged that one idea we had in mind for our project--adding stucco over existing cinderblocks--should first be evaluated by a masonry expert. He was right: we consulted a masonry expert who confirmed that the stucco would not have lasted long on that surface, and it would've been a waste of money. Other fence companies were willing to do the stucco work and didn't alert us to the need for a masonry expert.) We will be coming back to HandyMaestro for our future fence projects.

Termites started our troubles & Shades of Nature fixed it all…read more We bought our home in 2000 and our beautiful olive tree lived in this neighborhood for 60 years. Over the years this tree was the back drop for many family moments ie.prom, and Easters, and its even still on Google maps picture of our address. (They haven't updated it obviously.LOL). Until termites and squirrels attack it causing a slow death. After the tree was cut & the stump ground out. This removal left a huge hole. The new "hopeful" design my husband and I talked about included fencing off the newly landscaped yard. We shopped online and visited the big hardware companies to no avail. Then we wanted to keep the business local and called LA Fence Company. The sales staff at the showroom in Duarte were very knowlegeable and encouraging. From start to finish, Mike S. and staff were accountable, timely, and completely professional. All of his workers treated our property with respect and care and attention to detail. The new fence install took 2 weeks as promised. And the finished outcome is simply outstanding. We live int he middle of the block our home is a standout from the work done. The fence adds a sharp modern & clean curb-appeal to our home that is both modern and handicap accessible for our elderly mother who has a walker. I am still in awe with what they have done to improve our LIVES and HOME. Please trust & give this company your business. If I could give more than 5 stars I would for the team at Modern Fencing…read more I initially reached out to Modern Fencing several weeks ago for a fence that sat on my family's property, it was damaged by a hit and run and we were getting bothered by the city to fix it. Unfortunately, we were given a deadline and I needed a trusty contractor to work on the job immediately. From the very beginning when I called, Nick answered humbly, and was incredibly friendly with me regarding the job, we immediately agreed on a date to meet for him to come out and give me and my family an estimate on the job itself. The day we met, Nick was incredibly professional, not only did he give me a fair assessment of what work needed to be done, but he did it in an compassionate manner considering the circumstances at the time. Nick also answered all my questions and concerns no matter how many I would throw at him, and to be honest I probably asked too MANY questions, particularly about their license and insurance which is LEGITIMATE, trust me I checked! I will admit Modern Fencing was not the cheapest option out of the dozen or so quotes I received regarding the job, but he also wasn't the most expensive, and it was a good price for the work that was being done, also I couldn't see myself choosing anyone else to do the work after speaking with Nick, you could tell that he really cares about his customers and tries his best to give his utmost to every single individual he works with. We agreed on a fair price and also a day to start work, and just like I believed he would, him and his team were on site on the date we agreed upon. There was no problems, no complaints, no broken promises, just fair work at a fair price between two mutual parties. I've worked with hundreds of contractors in my life from construction all the way to painting, and Modern Fencing is one of the BEST at what they do, and I mean that wholeheartedly. Ultimately, Modern Fencing finished the job with perfect scores, the fence looks amazing, the process was flawless, and Nick's empathy towards me and my family during this incredibly stressful process was so needed. I couldn't recommend Modern Fencing enough to anyone who needs a construction or fencing job, it's quite obvious to me that they run a tight ship not only with their crew but definitely with their leadership.
