This was my first time at this restaurant and I was excited because I had already looked at the menu and there were lots of exciting options. They seemed to be short-staffed, but everyone was really friendly. The music is a little loud, but we got a table outside and it was a little bit better. I only had the chicken and goat cheese salad, but it was amazing! The chicken was tender, the pear was ripe, and the goat cheese melts in your mouth. I look forward to going back and trying out other dishes.

I tried several of their items from a tomato bisque, turkey wrap, nachos, and an iced matcha. It's very important to note that they ask if you want to add milk but they don't tell you that it costs extra. The same goes for other items such as lettuce and tomato which don't cost extra at other places. The soup was not warm, the turkey wrap was wet for some odd reason, and the nachos were not as crispy as others I've had. The service was friendly and amiable and the place was relatively clean. It's unfortunate the quality of food was not good and there were too many hidden fees that should be clearly laid out in the menu.

My son got the BBQ burger again. Today he let me have a bite. And I have to say the meat quality is very good. They even perfectly cooked it medium rare. A little bummed we had to sit outside when it's 112 out, because you could only sit inside if you had a reservation. Who knew this lil spot did reservations. SO MAKE A RESERVATION. lol Although they do have a good fan misting situation happening I got the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. They looked so good my son stole a whole taco from me. And I'm still stuffed from the 2 I ate. Huge piece of yummy tasting fish Hubs got the Reuben and it was 7/10 The sweet potato tots are really really good

Service is key and tonight's visit to Tryst was no different. Our server/ bartender made some great cocktails. The Old Fashioned is delectable. The calimari appetized fell short. Too much breading and it was bitter too. Our salads were delicious as per usual. The staff makes you feel safe and the restaurant is clean

Located near the desert ridge mall this place is up for all those healthy choices we make! We went in on a busy thursday, we were seated outside and there was space heaters which helped us keep warm. The service is slow with just two ladies but how wonderful are they! I went with the jackfruit bowl, my friends picked a veggie omelette The serving and presentation is really good! I didn't waste any time in diving in. The jackfruit tasted fantastic, it was saucy and juicy at the same time. The quinoa was really good too! Overall a very delicious bowl. My friend said the the omlette was decent and had a good flavor. We ended with a chocolate ganache cake, it was the best. It was warm gooey and perfect way to end a meal. I would definitely be back to this place. Loved the whole vibe, food and the service. Can't wait to try their drink section!

We really enjoyed our lunch / brunch. The service was amazing. It's cool being at a restaurant with workers who really seem to love their job and take pride in it. The food was really good - loved my bison burger. Everything tasted extremely fresh with high quality ingredients which I appreciated. Hope to be back soon!

A friend of mine is gluten free and had chose to eat here for lunch. I am not gluten free but was impressed to see all the items on the menu that she was able to enjoy. The service was not the greatest the server did not come to refill our glasses of water or offer refills on soda at one point my friend asked for a refill. I ordered the Creamy Pesto Penne and was very disappointed, my noodles were very over cooked and mushy and the pesto/sauce was very bland. My friend shared she had enjoyed her burger, I can't see myself coming back to this restaurant but can appreciate the variety of options for those who have allergies and are gluten free.

Not sure what it is as of lately but glad I came back, to give it another chance... the energy in here is beautiful. The diversity. Reminds me of pre 2020. When I used to come in daily after work for a sangria and pyramid cake. The service is fantastic the food is phenomenal.

This restaurant has been a family staple for years. Celebrating birthdays, graduations, family brunches and everything inbetween. The food is fresh and healthy, the sweet potato tots are a must! I've never had anything I didn't like here. The servers are amazing, Mercedes and Sasha are the best!!!!

I forgot to say from my last visit, that it was expensive for what I ordered? Had chicken strips with a glass wine tot as l price was $30. Had ginger beer which I enjoyed. The yelp menu said had gluten free pizza. That was not case. Service was decent. Bit pricy for me unfortunately

    Desert Ridge Summer Rolls Dinner

Tried this restaurant after it came up on Facebook. Location is pretty good, right opposite to desert ridge mall. We tried sweet potato burger with fries, summer rolls and brownie. Burger doesn't come as a typical burger but comes with a slice of bread. But everything tasted great. Especially their fries are just perfect. Brownie looked basic but tasted delicious. Service is decent and ambiance is just ok.

The food itself was okay- I got the open face vegan burger but it was just not worth the price. The bread wasn't great- the salad was meh. It was fine to try but I'd rather go somewhere else I think! Very cute inside though!

The bad is in my opinion, how poorly this incident with sleeveless Steve was handled. I've been dancing over 35 years, I currently have a very large dance group in the Phoenix Metropolitan area called Honky Tonk Dancerz. I bring a lot of people to Foley Ranch to enjoy the food, the great Service and the ambience of the country western music and great dance floor to dance on. Over the past several months I've gotten a chance to get to know Steve and I find him very pleasant, very kind to the lady he dances with and respectful. He is a product of the new style of country swing, that you have your instructors teach this style on Thursday nights. In my opinion, there is a lack of instruction on Dancefloor etiquette and feeling the music, by that I mean, actually dancing to the music, not alongside of it. Steve dances as he was instructed by the instructors that you bring on the dance floor and teach new dancers how to dance. Steve dances exactly like all the other new dancers dance. If you have a problem with Steve and the way he dances, then you have a problem with all the other people that have been instructed by the instructors that you bring to Foley Ranch. And in regard to the comment that was made by Dan B, where Steve grab the arm of a lady and drug her to the dance floor, that's BS and that is never happened. Like other people have said in comment and in Steve's defense women can say no and that's their prerogative. If they don't like the way he's dancing with them on the dance floor then they need to open their mouth and tell him to take it easy I don't like the way you're dancing or I'm not gonna dance with you again. It's very obvious that Dan B and his group are not part of the dance community like Steve and many others that have commented in Steve's defense. Last weekend, I spoke with Garcia the floor manager and introduced myself and the concerns that I had when I heard about Steve being 86. I asked a lot of other dancers in the dance community, what their thoughts were on this. Some have already commented on here. And I feel it's my obligation to the dance community to do so also. I would be more than happy to sit down and speak with management and give my further thought as to how the situation can be resolved. Thank you, Bobby Honky Tonk Dancerz

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. The only thing I was bummed about is that I love their marinara so much that I wanted to get the rigatoni with marinara as my side. However, they don't allow you to sub the sauce. It came with vodka sauce and I'm not a fan of that, so I opted for the side salad. Wish they'd allow you to sub the sauce. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must! I've had it twice now and it's some of the best tiramisu I've had (topping even slices I've had in Rome!). The girls helping us were Riley and Tatum and they were very helpful. This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.

Based on that, I'd expect the rest of the menu to be consistent, even if it's not trying to reinvent the wheel. Service Service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. No complaints here... you can tell the staff knows how to handle a full house and keep things moving. Ambience This is where the place stands out. The vibe feels like a food network designed a biker bar, but in a fun, not over-the-top way. It's also apparently a Kansas City Chiefs bar, which adds to the identity.
