With the low rates I must have received a 100 refinance letters in the mail this year and I only called one-Trustlink! Why? Well it was the only letter that reminded me I was paying a couple extra hundred dollars a month on PMI and it stated they could possibly remove that for me. So I called my (then) current lender and they gave me this huge run around on having to write a letter asking for my PMI to be removed and all these hassles I needed to do in order to get it removed. Even though specifically remember the notary telling me that PMI can be removed after a year of current payments but my lender wanted to make it as difficult as possible. So I called Tustlink and right away a live person (Jason Forman) picked up. The conversation flowed, he was more than happy to look into how he could save us some money. Not only did we get superior service but I trusted Jason within the first or second conversation I had with him. Never trusted my first lender to say the least. Jason We had just started the process of "getting our ducks in a row" in pursuing buying a home in an absolutely insane housing market when we found the house of our dreams in our price range. I'm saying we hadn't even been pre approved yet, like we JUST started the process. We were put in touch with Trustlink and Jason through our realtor a day before our offer got accepted and started the escrow process. To say that Jason was "great" would be an extreme understatement. Not only did he do what any great loan officer would do by guiding us through the process in the appropriate timing and things needed to close, but he was also very calm, collected, and just genuinely nice during the entire chaotic process that was our particular case. There were times that I was freaking out over the phone with him thinking things were gonna fall through and every time he'd calm me down and assure me everything was fine and that we would close on time.
