I did not use ASAP Mortgage, but here's why I'm writing a review. A few months ago, when mortgage…read morerates were way low, I called around asking for quotes. The internet banks were quick to give me quotes at competitive rates. I figured I would call ASAP to see if they could do any better. When I called, the owner answered the phone and spent the next five minutes talking me OUT of refinancing. She said something along the lines of, "listen, I could sell you a mortgage refinance and make a commission on it, but based on your current mortgage and how much you owe, it won't be worth it for you." I then sat down and took a hard look at the quotes I had been provided and realized that the owner of ASAP was right - a mortgage refinance wouldn't have saved me any money, and it possibly could have cost me some. When is the last time you heard of a business owner turning away a sale because it wouldn't be right for the customer? I was impressed.

Then one evening we found Sun Mortgage Company and read all the reviews. The next morning, we called Sun Mortgage Company and spoke to Don Rizzo. We told Don what we were looking for and he explained how the process works. After filling out the online application, we were all set to move forward. I was expecting a similar process to what the banks would have put us through but WOW, I was wrong! Before reaching out to Sun Mortgage Company we had attempted to go through our previous lender and other financial institutions, but they made it impossible. We were always talking to a different representitive each time and had to start over due to lack of information they had on their end, which meant starting the process over. This was fustrating!! In just a short amount of time after supplying him with some of the documents he had requested, he found us the perfect loan and excellent rate to refinance our home. Once we had agreed on the loan and rate, Don was even able to get us in touch with a local law firm to handle the closing. This was one of the best loan experiences we have been through. There were some repairs that needed to be made per the underwriters but once those were handled everything was smooth sailing.
