Please clean furniture in this location. It's absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. Staff is nice though. Location needs to be cleaned read more

Citibank - Went to open an account in citibank for my kids, had to sit in these chairs - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Mohegan Lake, New York

Horrible customer service. You can leave multiple voicemail messages (as was done for both Maria and Cristina), you can make "phone appointments" online with a date and time for the teleconference, have them confirmed, and no one will return your call or keep the appointment. If you try to call directly, not one person will EVER pick up the pone. The call is forwarded to India or wherever their call centers are located and it takes forever to get answers to simple questions. It's disgraceful that there is no accountability for the people working in this branch and that even the slightest amount of competent customer service is a thing of the past. Avoid this branch at all costs. read more

Full service bank. Easily accessible; free parking. Longstanding client. No complaints.

This branch will say whatever it wants to get you to open an account. Lie to your face by exaggerating returns and amounts fdic coverage and lots more. Also not return funds wrongly taken when proof is shown. Cortlandt branch manager will tell you they fdic cover say 10 million dollars so long as it's broken up into different accounts. Obviously an exaggerated statement. They want you to open as many accounts as possible to fill a quota. Snake oil salesmen read more

It's hard to create a buzz around a bank, or at least the Citibank franchise. This is your basic in and out, use the ATM, and if you need help they try real hard kind of bank. I would be interested to hear from others exactly what kind of role, if any, this bank plays in our community. In the meantime, we check, we cash and it works. read more

All my husband and I wanted to do was open a joint checking. There were about 3 people in their offices on their computers and no one came to help us. read more

I'm not sure what issues the other reviews have with his bank but I could just tell you that everyone has always been nice and customer service is excellent and I'm always in and out of there very quickly and there's never really a line and you never have to wait. Marlon is very smart and efficient and Adele is so friendly and they make you feel like you're part of the family. I have been using this bank for my business for many many years and never had any issues. If there was an issue they would fix it and help me solve the problem right away. Excellent customer service here. read more

Citi is my internet bank of choice among 4 bank relationships. In Europe, unlike US, Citi is a higher-end bank for wealthier clientele. Only gripe is excessive charge for F\X charges to cash a foreign check. Stopped using Citi for these items. They see nothing wrong charging about 3 percent even for good customers...unconscionable fee. Tip: cash withdrawal at 7-11 stores is free...nice benefit. Double check that terminal in your 7-11 is a Citi terminal. Top read more

I GIVE CITIBANK NEGATIVE 5 STARS I paid my Home Equity Line Of Credit in FULL on 10/22/19 but Citi failed to remove it from my credit report. Now that NYS Governor Cuomo is preventing me from working, I tried to open another Home Equity Line Of Credit to cover loss of income. I was denied because Citibank did not notify the Credit Reporting Agencies that it was PAID IN FULL AND CLOSED FIVE MONTHS AGO! As if that's not bad enough, I called Citi Mortgage at 1:00 p.m. and their recording says I reached them after their regular business hrs of 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m. Central Time!! NOT TRUE. MAYBE they're under a work from home rule, but someone should be fielding calls. I spent 3hrs 50 minutes on hold after regular customer service transferred me to a "good number" only to get another recording saying I reached them after normal business hours!!! ANOTHER LIE! Citibank should be answering calls during these uncertain times whether at a branch or staff working at home. Especially when a customer needs them to correct their NEGLIGENT MISTAKES negatively affecting ones ability to provide for their family! read more

You are a bank, people trust you with their money & investments. Yet, you cannot do something so simple as schedule staff! The ATM is only giving out $ 100.00. Three of us were waiting for the bank to open, it finally opens! NO TELLERS available for 30 minutes!. Who ever opened the gate needs a severe lesson in customer service. Did you really tell a customer, you have seen bigger checks deposited in the ATM. Did you stop and think before you opened your mouth, that maybe they wanted to know the clearance time on the check. If he was management - - Citibank needs better customer service training. Why didn't he and the other people standing around just start doing teller jobs until the bank has sufficient STAFF? Citibank needs to reassess the management at this branch. When I went back to finish my business, one teller three people on line and two separate woman "managers" kept interrupting the lone teller with questions about the clients in their offices. Those of us who were waiting patiently on line do not want to hear other clients private matters. The clients had hold and/or blocks on their accounts. If you retrain the staff at this branch include some lesson on discretion and confidentiality! read more

-Zombie like service and poor execution. -They've run out of cash on Friday nights a few times in the past. -They've sold me on "no fees" accounts that actually started charging me fees after 6 months. But here's the straw that broke my back.....Currently I'm in the midst of closing my remaining accounts which have to be done at the branch. Ive made 2 trips now, tomorrow makes my third and they are unable to complete the process. I have all my money out but they left the account open which caused me to accrue monthly charges. Now I have to go back, wait in line, and hope they get it right. Then I'm apparently going to have to double check them when I go home. They just can't the job done right the first time. Nor the second, for that matter ! read more
