I came in just to make copies. years prior, I could email them in and they'd be waiting for me. This wasn't the case on this visit. I came in and emailed the pages I needed to a new QR code, that then sends the file to the Fed-X server. From there, the customer personally, not the staff at the store getting paid to do this stuff, has to tap a digital screen to pull up the file, send it to the printer, scan the credit card, program paper size and copy amounts, and then it starts copying. The quality of the copies were ok, not stellar. Having worked with Xerox for several years, I knew from an instant what needed to be cleaned on this particular xerographic machine. It need some touching up to make the super clean copies I'm used to seeing. For the store, I'll say it was clean. It wasn't cluttered up with unused stock, it wasn't really dusty, and there wasn't a visible pile of boxes waiting to be shipped out. It was fairly empty, in all fairness it was just before lunch, and there wasn't anyone but myself in the shop. The lone staff member was helpful enough, tho as I'm used to having done, the staff used to take care of everything.

The manager's behavior was extremely passive, and the conversations taking place in the store were far beyond what should be considered professional. During my visit, I overheard one employee say something very inappropriate to the manager, and she simply laughed it off as if it were acceptable. There were several other incidents as well that reflected a very unprofessional work environment. I work in the corporate world, and there is no way this type of behavior would ever be tolerated. If corporate leadership knew about the things being said and allowed in this store, I believe both the manager and the employee involved would face immediate disciplinary action. If the employees are unwilling to report these issues to HR, then I will. I plan to report everything I witnessed and heard during my visit because this behavior should not be happening in a professional workplace. The manager especially needs to be held accountable, as her conduct and lack.
