We were out of power because of their failure to do what they said they would. Freezers defrosted. Had to get a hotel... They submitted my application 4 times to a Electric and it was flagged this interefered with my services being connected in a certain timeframe. I had to complete an application with another Electric Provider due to after 72 hours the issue still wasn't resolved on Compare Power end or Atlantex Energy end. Also, do not choose Atlantex or sister company Atlantic, the customer service is unprofessional, there's no first call resolution and they do not have the proper CSR experience. It was a hassle and very mentally draining. I would never known my services wasn't yet switched after being approved until I called the electric company, this was after sending in identification and lease for address verification, some I never went through with any utility company.

I owed electricity from March 16th to April 1st…read morewhich they claimed to be around $88 which is still pretty high but I let that slide then they tried to say that the total comes up to about $386 because of an extra charge of an average usage bill meaning an average of what I usually pay is being added on my last bill. Which is a complete rip off coz I am only obligated to pay for what I used not what I used plus an average of what I usually use. Don't use them for electricity unless you plan on always paying more than your actually bill should be.
