It was set up like a Chipotle in that you can walk the line and tell them how to load your Açaí or Dragon fruit bowl..... BRILLIANT! Service was fantastic, price was great and the bowl was so good. This place is a great concept and I like the menu of healthy shakes, toast, acai bowls, etc., BUT they are really slow. There were three people working and only 4 people in front of me (placing single orders, not large orders) and I was still waiting to order after 15 minutes. The workers were very relaxed and not at all in a hurry even though they watched two people behind me walk out after it became obvious it was going to take forever. Even after I placed my order, the workers were still talking amongst themselves trying to remember who ordered what. Making my actual bowl took about 30 seconds so I don't know why I was in line for so long. I appreciate that they might know and want to engage with customers, but they need to be more aware of and respectful of customer's time. Getting one acai bowl took me almost 25 minutes. That's way too long to scoop a bowl of yogurt and fruit together. It was delicious, though. Just order ahead, I guess, or have a lot of spare time on your hands when you go! read more

My first experience with Trufuel via DoorDash, and I have to say that they are a new favorite. Healthy, nutritious, fresh options that hit the spot for healthy comfort food. I had two of their toasts: protein and hummus. I also had a make your own acai bowl. I do wish they'd add Greek olives to the hummus toast. Otherwise perfection. They definitely hit the crave and delicious factors on all points! I've seen the other comments on prices. Yes, I think we've been spoiled by large portions and low prices by bigger, national places. But, the quality is awesome and fresh. I love fresh fruits and veggies. I love the wholesomeness. read more

I first experienced Trufuel in April while visiting my daughter. Everything looks delicious, but I'm hooked on the Build Your Own Bowl. My personal favorite is a small Acai & Coconut base with granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, cacao nibs, coconut, almonds topped with Aloha Nut Butter. Now that is a meal, or two. I'm amazed how filling it is. I believe I placed an order almost every day while I was there. The atmosphere is delightful, and very clean. The service is excellent. I ordered in person, and online. This past week I was back in Twin, and of course back at Trufuel. The only thing I would suggest is extending your hours. Oh and opening a store in California. My daughter and grandchildren live in Twin and are frequent customers, and I'm jealous. read more

I'm so happy! Our little town needed something like this. I even ran into the owner at Costco a week after checking this place out. She's as cute as her shop. I got a toast and added a mini bowl for only $3. It was the perfect "happy meal" and it only cost me $11 before tip. I popped my head in a week before to grab a takeout menu and even though the dining area was empty both times, I didn't get the uncomfortable vibe. I easily could have sat in one of those metal chairs for an hour reading after I ate, had I chose to stay. It was a brilliant idea to park this new eatery across from the only decent gym in town, next to a popular local burrito shop. Now there is a better post workout fast option. I didn't see any advertisement in the gym or the ladies room though. Definitely give Trüfuel a try. Even if you're passing through on I-80, it's only a 5 minute detour and you get to drive over the Snake River Canyon to get here. Better than the gas station burrito or Subway sandwich you'd get otherwise. No big truck parking, though. read more

So good! We're from out of state, decided to give this place a try. It was delicious! The staff were all very welcoming, and friendly! We tried the Happy bowl, and OG bowl! Both were fantastic, you can add or take away anything to customize a bowl. My favorite was the coconut base, we also sampled the pitaya and açaí base they were good! Too! Give this place a shot, you won't regret it. We look forward to coming back when visiting again Twin again. read more

Just not my thing. Paying 7 bucks for 1 piece of toast makes me feel dirty...like I want to be part of the aristocracy. I suppose if after one bite I tasted decadence, I might feel otherwise, but to me, this fell short. Ingredients tasted fresh, the place looks clean (although I never like the idea of a germ festering fake living wall), and staff was reasonably friendly, although seemingly not too eager to feed me. With all that said, everything was just mediocre and with empty pockets, I want you to blow my socks off too. If you're bougie and are right now correcting me in your head "bourgeois," then this place is definitely for you. read more

LOVE that there is now a superfood cafe in Twin Falls with delicious acai bowls, protein shakes, and gourmet toasts! I loved the lean green toast and built my own acai bowl. Tried this spot for a snack after a bike ride. We were not disappointed the Açaí bowls we tried were delicious. The staff were friendly and even agreed to split a smoothie in 1/2 so both my kids could have their own cup. I really liked this place a lot!!! I went the other day for my 1st time. I wanted to try both the toast and bowls. I did the pure protein toast and power bowl with drizzled honey. Yes, it was a bit spendy. But for being my 1st time i wanted to try a little bit of both. Going back again, I'll do one or the other. The toast I realize I can imitate at home pretty easily. And yes paying 7 bucks for toast was a bit high. But I still really liked this place. My "diet" or food consumption consist of high protein. Here at this place, the majority of their ingredients consists of high protein. My food looked a little bit scary to my mom lol. But she tried it and even liked it herself! Wow! Lol. I will be going back to this place again! The only problem is that I'll only be able to go on Saturdays. M-F im already at work when they open. And they close before im off. Bummer.
