The energy is always positive and uplifting, and the members and instructors make you feel like you're part of a real community. What really sets Pure Barre apart for me is the focus on micro movements. After dealing with quad activation failure, muscle atrophy after my knee surgery, I needed a safe and effective way to rebuild strength. I used to be all about HIIT workouts and honestly didn't think this style would be challenging enough. But I was SO wrong. The low-impact, high-intensity format has been a total game-changer. It's helped me activate and rebuild my quads in a way I didn't think was possible. Now, 1 year and 4 months later, I'm still coming 4-6 times a week because I'm completely hooked. The results speak for themselves, and I've never felt stronger or more supported. If you're looking for a workout that's effective, encouraging, and truly for everyone--this is the place!

I was initially told I'd have to sign up on my end, then when I advised the usual process I followed at other studios when signing up I was later told they don't take the program and it's at the owners discretion on whether or not they accept it. I was called back and forth a few times when finally "a manager" called and told me they don't accept it. If I was told this initially I might've been more understanding and might've believed it. This location is still listed on the one pass website. Due to the frustration, I just signed up through round rock. It's farther away but I didn't have any issues and ended up taking a class there the same night.

The free intro class was super helpful--Girlie walked me through all four class types and gives extra attention to newcomers. Classes break down like this: 'Align' feels more yoga-based, 'Define' leans into weights, and 'Classic' mixes both. After about 10 classes, I definitely feel stronger and more toned, even going twice a week. Plus, the schedule is flexible. When I was out sick for 2 weeks , Jazmine checked in on me and even added a class credit without me asking. As someone new, it really boosted my confidence and made me feel like they genuinely care about their members. Only downside: the Classic class is so popular that (IMO) it can get a bit packed.

Spoiler alert: it absolutely humbled me--in the best way possible. The workout was fire--low-impact but insanely effective. My muscles were shaking (hello, burn!) and I was smiling the whole time. The energy in the studio is electric. Great music, great vibes, and the instructors? Absolute gems. They're uplifting, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt supported while still pushing me to dig deeper. And the staff & owner? So friendly, so welcoming. From the second I walked in, I felt like I belonged there. No awkward first-timer vibes, just good energy and a seriously good sweat. Can't wait to go back. If you're an athlete looking to switch it up or just want a killer workout that surprises you in all the right ways--go check it out. You won't regret it!

One of the better cycling classes I've been to- and a definite must try!…read more- locally owned - multiple instructors - multiple class types - they provide cycling shoes and lockers to put your shoes / belongings on during class - they provide towels - they provide floor mats for abs I discovered this place during a yelp event and decided to come back for the free week they were offering. This place is about 20 minutes from my house, but definitely worth the drive for the variety of instructors and classes. My first class was 'power and rhythm' + 'core'. Lasted 1 hour : 45 minutes of power cycling and 15 minutes of abs on a mat. The class was challenging without making me want to quite, and i hadn't been to a class in a few months. I did this one a few times and really loved it. I went to another class called 'sculpt' and didn't really know what's i was in for - showed up and realized it wasn't cycling at all but rather a quick weights and ab session. We grabbed a heavy set, light set of weights and a mat. It was pretty easy in itself but you can push yourself to the weights you choose - and the next day or so I had some weird muscles that felt sore and felt like it actually was quite good! 'Power' bloc class was also one i tried. This one was rough - hard hard hard but it's only 30 minutes!! I thought by minute 24 i was going to die, but felt absolutely wonderful walking out the door. The classes weren't exactly full and I can't believe more people haven't found this little spot. Once coronavirus quarantine is over this is definitely a place I'll come back to!! There's always a bike (without signing up in advance) and the check in is super easy. Also - its a plus it's pretty dang cute inside with great ceiling fans to keep you cool.
