There was much back and forth but Rebecca Anne was so incredibly patient and helpful. Rebecca Anne wasn't available for our date, but her AMAZING associate, Vannessa, was! Vannessa was amazing, fun to work with, patient, kind and sooo willing to learn! We had a Jewish wedding and Vannessa had never photographed one. At first I was a bit worried - Jewish weddings have a lot going on and it would be very overwhelming for someone who's never done a Jewish wedding to just hop right in. I sent her A TON of readings, pictures and informative videos, and she watched all of them! She even made time for us to have a zoom meeting to go over everything. Wedding day came and Vannessa showed up ready to work. She was able to control the crowd of bridal party and family alike and got some AMAZING family/bridal pictures. Honestly, I've gotten some sneak previews back and every picture I fall in love again. Her photos are natural, lively and clearly telling the story that the day was. Nobody looks stiff or forced. It was so amazing to work with Vannessa. We also hired another associate photographer of Rebecca Anne's, Jared, for a few hours for a bit more coverage. Jared showed up early and needed no instruction. He got to work and just started snapping. He has an incredible eye for detail and artistic photographs and I'm so super glad we got him to tag along. Both Vannessa and Jared were incredible to work with. They are professional, yet you'll feel like they're part of the fam! The day of the wedding, Rebecca Anne posted THREE edited photos from the wedding! Three days later we got like 20 edited photos and honestly, it's incredibly to see my most magical day so quickly! Every moment of our wedding day seemed to be included: getting ready with the bridesmaids in the bridal room, the ceremonial walk (complete with expressions!), the happy vibe of the reception and the final stolen sunset moments (her brilliant idea) off-location at Kerry Park. All of the details I labored over during the previous months were noted- the location details, the flowers, the rings, the dress, the cake, the wine and food, the table settings and some make-up and hair preparation. She captured the sibling, parent, friends, mother and mother-in-law dynamics, and of course the giddy happiness of the bride and groom. Her results showed above and beyond that she paid special attention to the desires I initially voiced to her in the questionnaire she asked me to fill out before the wedding. We opted for two photographers and are very happy about that since the second photographer- Haley- was able to capture the groom when he was getting ready, besides the benefit of having different vantage points during the ceremony and the reception. Rebecca was extremely professional and courteously authoritative during the formal photography. Everyone did as she said with a smile on their face! She is a great director. Every face was smiling towards the correct camera when they were supposed to be and the candid shots were each little stories in themselves. I believe every one of the 120 or-so guests were in at least one photograph. Rebecca edited every photo so every single one is print-perfect. The quality of her camera was excellent. She delivered, as promised in the contract, within six weeks. Actually, I believe she delivered in five, even though her summer wedding schedule was very busy. The website where I downloaded all of my chosen digital downloads was not exactly perfect but who knows, that may be improved upon. The interface was very small and the site would not allow me to view all of my choices at the same time before downloading them. However, I know that when I mentioned having ordered duplicate downloads, Rebecca immediately gave me access to an amount that equalled the number of duplicates. All-in-all, highly recommended. After a good deal of research, I don't think I could have made a better choice. I'm sure my great-great grandkids will agree.

This is just what we needed. We decided to do an engagement session in September. Chris met us at the Sculpture Park in Downtown Seattle and we had so much fun. It was great to get to work with him before the wedding so we knew what to expect when the big day came. As our wedding date approached, Chris reached out to us to discuss specific photo locations at our venue, the timeline, and provided many valuable suggestions. He had already checked out our venue, so he had great insight on the lighting and the best places to take photos. When the wedding day finally came, Chris & team were on time and professional. We were planning on outdoor rain photos with umbrellas but we totally lucked out and the rain stopped and we had dry outdoor photos. She was very professional, but also warm and set me at my ease. She listened attentively to my hopes/expectations, and then proceeded to exceed them. The biggest surprise for me was the extent to which Adrian's presence, in and of itself, at the wedding was a major plus - she fit in seamlessly, interacted with me and my guests in a relaxing, fun way and served to discretely enhance the atmosphere. Her suggestions tended to be spot on, and she showed a wonderful knack for appreciating the complex dynamics of blended families, physical disabilities and all the other stresses that can make a photo shoot tricky. I was surprised to find that her materially contributing to making me feel more confident and serene. She isn't the least expensive of wedding photographers, but you more than get what you pay for (and she isn't topping out the high end either). I had hoped for an emphasis on candid, photojournalistic type shots and she delivered some spectacular ones.
