To summarize-- we couldn't possibly be happier with Mitch and Cabfare Productions! At first we weren't sure if we wanted a videographer for our wedding, but my sister convinced us to at least think about it. We started half-heartedly searching, and watched a bunch of so-so sample videos that didn't really get us more jazzed about the idea. Then we stumbled on Cabfare Productions' website, and knew that we had to have a videographer and it had to be Mitch. Fortunately he was available for our date and super easy to work with through the booking process. On the day of, Mitch was a real joy to hang out with. He was warm and friendly with all of our friends and family, and he made the day all the more enjoyable by being there. He got on great with our photographer, which made the whole day very smooth. It took a little while to get our highlights video but it was WELL worth the wait. We absolutely loved it, and watched it more times than we can count--several friends (including Facebook friends with no reason to lie to us :)) have said it is the best wedding video they've ever seen. Our full-length video came in yesterday, and it's just as incredible-something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I absolutely love the video Cabfare did for me, even after watching it many times! I was searching for a videographer last Fall (2015) for a video I wanted to produce for my practice that would show how I work with athletes. This involved a number of moving parts: 3 different athletes, playing different sports at different locations, plus me at my office demonstrating how I do what I do. When I met Mitch, I knew I had found the perfect person for the task. He was familiar with the techniques I use in my practice and had the best suggestions for developing the kind of video that would pique the curiosity of anyone watching it. Filming the various athletes on location, giving them direction, and letting me shine when I needed to look my best all seemed to be second nature to him. I know how I do what I do but I was anxious about articulating it in front of a camera and Mitch knew exactly what to say and do so I could explain myself like I wanted to and, be pleased watching the final product. I'm sure he probably got at least 5 hours of film and he produced a seamless video that is less than 3 minutes long! What makes Mitch stand apart from the rest is that he has a very calming and grounded presence all while being an expert at his craft. Plus, he's a lot of fun. Time flew by! What's not to love about Mitch! He was one man who seemed to do the job of an entire crew. His video of our wedding was beautiful and captured the moment perfectly. After searching through reviews we landed on Cabfare Productions. We hired Mitch because we wanted a very distinct look for our wedding videos, and based on his other samples, we were confident he could pull it off. We're a quirky couple so didn't want the traditional romantic cinematography vibe most videographers produce. We wanted the feel of a Wes Anderson film. We told him our vision, and he executed it beautifully. We met with him a couple of times via Facetime due to distance. He really took the time to get to know us, our story, and he seemed personally invested in carrying out our vision. Instead of a cookie cutter approach to a wedding video, Mitch helped to quide us toward a plan that would work with our financial and time budgets. He was really fun to work with, too! We love his sense of humor. We were impressed with his turn-around time given the specific style we were aiming for and the busy summer wedding season. We loved working with Mitch for our wedding. He captured so many wonderful, intimate moments with our family and friends while managing to remain unobtrusive at the wedding. It was so fun to be able to share the montage with all of our family and friends, and our parents and grandparents (and us of course!) loved getting copies of the full wedding film. We received our wedding DVD from Mitch a few days ago, and absolutely loved it! We had a great time watching it and remembering the day, all the people we shared it with, and how much fun it was. Mitch outdid every part of his work and is a truly an inspired person. He made us feel like close friends from the begining and we had some great coversations with him over the phone that made us confident he was meant to be part of our day. We feel so greatful to have had him be apart of our day and have a timeless beautiful film that we will treasure forever. With all the stress surrounding the wedding, Mitch is a calming professional who you can TRUST to do a superb job.
