I recorded my recent online retirement ceremony, so I could share it with my husband who has Dementia and couldn't participate. I contacted Videoland to have that recording and five hours of other family videos copied onto DVDs. I hadn't done business with Videoland in many years, since renting movies from them in the early 80's and 90's, but I was pleased that their commitment to good customer service has remained consistent. I sent a message and received a quick, friendly response. I learned that they recently gave up their building & are working from home (as are so many of us). Mike set a time and place to meet me for pick up and within a day, I received a call from someone else in the business to discuss specifically what I wanted and giving me an accurate quote. Within another day or two, I was told my DVDs were ready & Mike would meet me for delivery. Once again, he was on time and very friendly and made sure I knew to follow up with him, if there were any issues. We watched all 3 DVDs and the editing and quality were great. I contacted my local library looking for a projector to view my home movies from the early 70's. As they no longer do any media they referred me to Videoland Productions. I contacted Mike and he reached out to me immediately. I requested to have the films transferred to CD or USB and he gave me many options and prices so I could choose what was best for me. I've gone to Videoland Productions a few times over the past 5 years or so. They have been extremely helpful with restoring an old vhs home video, and made several dvd copies for me. Even after the pandemic, they continue to serve their customers with a smile. It has been amazing to have the opportunity to watch old home movies from my childhood, and I was only able to do so thanks to Videoland Productions. SERIOUSLY great and quick service! Mike and crew took 100 audio CD's of mine (independently produced and needing reassembly) and got them shrink-wrapped very quickly - and they're actually better than the shrink-wrapping quality I got from DiscMakers! I recently found a Motorola Home Recording Disc (78 RPM) in a box of old photos. I contacted Videoland, and they were able to clean up the pops and scratches and transfer the sound into a digital format. I can now safely play and replay the voices of three young women as they sounded in 1941. I appreciate the care that was put into this project by Mike and the technician. Very glad to see Mike & Videoland Productions still in business despite the pandemic. Staff are always very helpful, using my DVD master or external flash-drive to produce DVDs for weddings and other family events (funerals, reunions); I always receive high-quality DVDs with good-looking labels. Called Videoland Productions in Lacey to have some precious VHS tapes transferred to DVD. They were in rough shape. I didn't want to risk sending them away. The owner promptly responded to me and we made arrangements to connect in Lacey as they are now working offsite as many businesses are doing.
