If you want to pay double price for basic inexperienced nails just for the location this is the spot. Nice place, nice people but the cost does not reflect the quality. I luckily caught the very crooked pinky & she redid it but didn't notice the other until after. I came here spur of the moment before an event. I understand you going to pay a little more for the location. But $105 is crazy for a basic set that's not even done right. They just look kinda weird in general. ‍

I got my nails done here twice because I honestly really like the environment but I got really bad quality nails. The First Lady that did my nails did them rushed and did a bad application process and my nails didn't even last two weeks maybe just a week they lasted before they started to pop off. I went again to go get them filled in and replaced them and tell me why they were more expensive than last time? $110 to be exact and then to top it off the very next day one of my nails fell off immediately and then two days later another one. I will attach a picture of my nails and tell me they're worth $110 because they're also very short nails. This is why everyone says to stop going to nail salons and just get a personal nail girl because these nail salons are only about the money and that's exactly what this place is about, the money not the customer service.

All the nails dust and acrylic that was left in my hands and nails.

Went in for a new set and it took the gentleman over an hour to take off my old set. Would just dip them in a dish with acetone and drill of a bit. He did this several times and still left the old ones on. Even at that point he didn't take off all of the old set and placed a new set over top of the old tips and acrylic. Then it took over another hour for a new set to be added. Was there for a total of over 2 hours for an old set to be half taken off a new set to placed on. Nails shape and thickness are not the same either. I paid $70 for nails that are crappy and not what I wanted because I did not get the design. I had to stop the gentleman because he took so long I had to get to another appointment. Will not be going back here.

Infected side of toe where nail tech cut me

I used to recommend and love this place but something has changed. My friend and I had pedicures at the same time, but I got started after her. We ordered the same exact one from the menu, and even though I got gels done, I was done significantly before her. The tech made a clip that was very painful and a retracted, but she didn't say anything and ignored me for pretty much my entire appointment till it was time to pay. Now a week later it is very painful and infected. She also assumed I wanted a gel pedicure without asking bc that's what I came in with, so I was very surprised when my $45 pedicure was $60!!!! So I'm out more money I was willing to spend for a short, subpar pedicure that may end up costing me more medical bills to fix the infection- it hurts to wear shoes and walk!!!

Went back to fix the nails . This is the after photo.

We spent $200 for nails and pedicures. I'm from out of town and chose this place because it was nearby. I got short square nails and they were super thick and the French tip was uneven and just not what I wanted. They looked like nails from back in the 2000's. I came back two days after to fix them. Luckily, they made them less thick and redid the French. Only did one coat so I can see right through the color. The only thing I am happy about was my pedicure. It was an older lady who did then and they came out perfect. Would not come back here for acrylics. Very disappointed.

matte gel manicure! Very beautiful. $40 because of the matte and the design. Would have been 33 without those. This place is very clean.

Love it here! Very very clean and welcoming! Great location around many other shops at Park west!! We love Lisa and Katie! I showed them a picture of a nail set from my phone I liked and they did it awesomely! Thank you so much true touch nails!

Tiffany does an amazing job EVERYTIME! Everyone there does amazing and so accommodating. I have been going here for a year and wouldn't go anywhere else!

Leah V.

Please don't waste your time and money coming here. They don't understand half the things you say you want done. And I have been here twice. Both times I have been cut! This is insane.

I've been to this nail salon for months. I love the location and love how clean and aesthetic it is. I highly recommend Larry for my nails. He is awesome, so professional and never disappoints. He always does an amazing job. He is the reason I go back for my nails every single time. Unfortunately I will never go back for a pedicure to this place based on 3 horrible horrible interactions. 1) the first was a guy who cut my big toe so bad and he just put some powder on it I was so scared I would probably have an infection and it bled a lot. 2) I went in for a pedicure for a late appt. They gave me the appt closed to closing time. I came after work and sure enough the pedicure ladies are all talking in their native language and no one would attend to me to do my nails. Finally one of the other women who usually doesn't do pedicures came over to do them. Then, the older lady who normally does pedicures comes up to me and starts bad mouthing me (I can only assume based on her body language and disgusted face as she's blabbing away to the nail tech) 3) finally, last but not least. I went in for a polish change and the nail tech didn't even look at my toe before hitting it with a nail clipper and getting my skin! I gasped in pain and shocked! And I said Omg be careful please maybe use a nail file. She just pushed her cart, talked bad in her language and just left me sitting there confused on what happened. Only until someone else came over to finish. At which point I was so disgusted by the lack of professionalism and service and rudeness. She cut me, I'm bleeding and she has the audacity to get mad? I gasped in pain. No one raised their voice I'm confused how she is mad? I could call the state board on her and file a complaint. I didn't. Bottom line, do not come here for pedicures. Do not do not do not. Horrible service and rude technicians. Idk why they think it's ok to speak in their native language as if you won't understand they are talking about you? It's rude. Please stop doing that. And please take courses on customer service and etiquette. This whole salon lacks it tremendously except 1-2 people. One being Larry. The management will also push you to bring cash for payments. It's 2022, who Carries cash? Don't ask people to tip in cash. The extra tax is your problem not ours.

Sophia F.

This place is amazing the employees are very nice and they put a lot of effort into making sure your nails are perfect. The nail salon is also very clean and nice love it here.

Lydia R.

The picture speaks for itself. Larry did an AMAZING job at my nails. Took his time perfecting each detail and added some diamonds to complete the look. I trusted him to do any design and I love them. Highly recommend this shop & Larry as a nail tech!

Stacy R.

Nice, clean place to get nails done. Would recommend an appointment, they are busy! They take walk ins but have to wait awhile to get service. Great service though!

Katie G.

I really contemplated posting a review because I always feel bad because sometimes people just have bad days but it's just not sitting right with me. I went in last Thursday and left with my feet looking like this..... I got the top of the line most expensive pedi they had! Out the door after gel polish and tip I paid $95! My toes nails are all different shapes, the polish doesn't even cover all of my nail on some toes! And then to top it off check out the bottom of my feet it looks like they were not even done! I'm sad I paid that much to look like I didn't even get a pedicure! Save your money and go somewhere else you could get two pedicures somewhere else for what I paid for this crap of a job.

So many different packages for pedicures! Beware!!

First off, the prices have changed, they are up charging everything. I was told my short dip nails would cost 40 and then got charged 50 without explanation. She then double charged my card and had to issue a refund which they made seem like was unacceptable to issue refunds. Definitely a cute spot but their prices and services are not worth it. Stick to your nail salon or find a better one because this one is not it! read more

I have been coming here since 2021 and the quality is great and staff is friendly. Today, Cindy did my pedicure and she was amazing. She was very thorough. The time flew by as she was also talkative and built great rapport. As a newer Arizonan, I've tried several nail salons in the West Valley and this place is the best. read more

They had horrible horrible service. They made me wait 45 minutes for a gel manicure, and then when I finally sit down in the chair she's not even focused. They wanted to charge me 53 dollars. She said it's because it a design. I was furious when she told me that because of design is a flower or something of that sort. She basically told me it was cheaper to get my whole nail painted instead of that little ass line I have. She is ripping people off just because she wants too. She gave me a discount of $5 like if that's going to make it any better. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews but this place was just horrible. Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. The woman who is my pedicure was amazing however the woman who did my mani was just HORRIBLE. I didn't catch her name because I was just trying to get out of there but she was up front in the second chair. Right when I sat down she had seemed annoyed. She didn't even remove my cuticles or the extra skin around my nails. Then went to polish and asked if I wanted a top coat or if it was okay like that??? Um what? My Mom and my Aunt had similar experiences. After paying $152. We will never return. read more

I've been getting my nails done here once a month for the past few months. I have acrylics and just do regular polish and they always look great! However, only complaint is they continuously try to push and push to get gel polish. I went back yesterday and instead of asking and even after me saying I just want regular polish she did gel anyway so it's much more than I expected to pay. But they look great, so can't complain too much. read more

I went to get my brows done. I was taken back quickly, which is why they even got 2 stars. The lady asked me to lay down on a table that has a very dirty and obviously used towel- a very long black hair from one of the previous unlucky customers. I asked her to change the towel please. I mean "Covid " scare tactics 101 should be a clean surface for everyone. She hummed and hawed nearly refused. Im on with that. I would have left. She finally, albeit reluctantly moved the towel, and pulled down paper(think chiro's office roll of paper for the table) halfway. Obviously going to reuse said towel when I leave. She remarked about my thin eyebrows. I nearly remarked about my equally thin patience. Overrated, unhygienic and rude. No thanks. read more

I got a dip manicure. 5 of my nails cracked within 2 days. I went back and got them to fix fix them. A week later the same thing happened. I had to go a 2nd time. I had to wait about 30 mins. this time to get my nails fixed again. They got fixed but my nails started cracking again. I won't go back. I'm a teacher so it's not that I do work that would cause my nails to crack. I don't have the money or time to waste. I don't know if it's the product they use. I just know this has never happened to me at other salons. I tried this location because it is on my way home from work and that is convenient for me. I will be looking for another nail salon. read more

Well... This was my go to spot for nails but after this last visit I will be looking for a new salon. After asking me in a lobby full of people if I have cash to tip before my card is even done processing or giving me the chance to pull the cash out of my wallet , making three of my fingers bleed because the skin was literally filed into and burned with the nail drill because the tech was not paying attention, charging me five dollars to shape my nails into coffin shape then leaving with straight square. I got my nails done last weekend and the top layer of the dip powder is already coming off on every one of my nails. Oh And not to mention I was charged the price of a full set with dipping powder when I was only getting a fill. read more

I followed my nail tech Helen here from Lifestyle Nails and Spa. Hands down the best tech I've have had here in Arizona. Helen is creative, when you don't have your mind made up she gives you recommendations and plenty of options. Go in with pictures and she's spot on with any detail! Her shaping is fabulous and that's very hard to find since most techs rush through sets. If you haven't booked a full set I completely recommend Helen she will not disappoint! read more

The lady Didn't do what I asked for, color was off and the thickness of the french tip. The pricing is way to high especially since I always get something simple. I went in to get a fill and she clipped all my nails off and started doing a soak-off which is what I didn't want. She didn't measure the nails when gluing them onto my nail bed and when I told her she just added more glue to them, she left nail polish on my finger when done. read more

So happy to welcome a new nail salon to the area. Currently their services are 20% which is excellent. I got the tropical citrus pedicure (regular price $40) and it was everything I wanted and more! First off I hate my pedicures being rushed, this lasted an hour. The leg massages were incredible and yes there were multiple. I usually go just for pedicure however on 2 separate occasions I went for a manicure and fill. First time I went for a gel manicure and the gel polish was literally peeling off not even a day later. Second time I went shame on me for being optimistic, I tried to explain to the guy with the Mohawk manbun how I wanted my nails. He started my nails than decided he wasn't going to finish. He was extremely rude the owner was sitting next to him and made excuses that he didn't understand me when I showed him a picture and he answered me in English. I will not be spending any of my money with this establishment ever again. I went one exit over to Saguaro nail bar. The customer service is amazing they shaped my nails to my liking. read more

6/26/2021. This is my second visit. The first visit I waited 45 minutes to be seen, and yes, I made an appointment. Scheduled a mani & pedi and the whole visit was 3 hours long! Then my second visit, which prompted this review, was SCHEDULED for 11am. I make appointments for a reason. They took me back 15 minutes late and had me sit in a pedi chair with no water. The girl who sat me said she didn't wanna fill it cause it would get cold. Clue #1 that it was gonna be a long wait time again. By 25 minutes past my appointment I could see this was gonna be a long wait again. I asked the ladies next to me how long they had been waiting and they said 40 minutes! Bottom line, I'm not gonna give money to a place who routinely makes me wait so long for an appointment that was scheduled. NEXT read more

I don't even know where to begin. Let's start off with I went in with my sister and I. I got "dip" nail enhancement on my nails. The nail technician who was doing them insisted that I have him use monomer because it is stronger. So, he wanted me to get acrylics. He told me using monomer with dip powder isn't acrylics. And FYI IT IS! dip powder is only acrylic powder that has been ground finer for application. ‍ After he did my nails all I have to say is wow! What a disappointment they looked grown out as he did not manicure them like I had asked prior and then told him on more than one occasion to push my cuticles back and trim them. I took of the ugliest nails I have ever had that same day. As for my sister her nails looked nice until the lifted that same same day and popped off. I guess as long as you make it out the door they don't care. On top of it she got a pedicure. The older man was nice but the next day my sisters toe was infected. She rushed to urgent care to get treated for Mets and staff infection as this place was obviously not practicing proper cleaning and sanitation protocols. When she called to get some sort of answer about getting an infection all the person asked was for her to come in so they could look at it. They are not medical professionals and can not give a diagnosis on her toe. I am still in the process with the state board of Arizona cosmetology on having a formal complaint filed with this location. I hope the owner is reading this. This is for you. Quit cutting corners and being cheap reusing buffers and other disposable products. You throw them away after each client not use them until you are satisfied you got your monies worth out of that item. Wash and sanitize the pedicure tubs and jets after each use. Those liners do nothing to protect against blood borne illness or fungus. You are putting your clients at risk. This why I will never step foot into a nail salon like yours, which to be honest is all of the local nail chop shops as I like to call them. read more

When we reached out to understand what happened and see if there was a solution, management was harsh and defensive. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, I was left feeling like I was the problem for trying to resolve a scheduling issue that wasn't my fault. I completely understand that this was a free promotional service, but that doesn't mean a customer's time has no value. If a business chooses to offer complimentary services for training, they should honor confirmed appointments or at the very least handle cancellations professionally and with empathy. Simply dismissing the situation because "it was free anyway" is not good customer service. The issue was never that the service was free it was that a confirmed appointment was canceled after I had planned my day around it, and the situation was handled poorly. If the business wasn't prepared to honor these appointments, they shouldn't have offered them in the first place.

This was my first experience with this nail salon since I was with a friend. I normally go to a location where the staff are good friends. At this nail salon they are all very nice and offered water. There was a bit of misunderstanding since a friend made an appointment for me for full set and pedicure, but I didn't have enough time for both. I was considering setting up a later appointment to do the pedicure but I will not be returning. When I arrived I asked if they could fix two broken nail so I could get gel like I usually do. They said no because it would not last. I said okay and said I would get a acrylic ombré nails. When I met the nail tech I explained to her that I was getting an ombré acrylic since I was told two nails couldn't be fixed to do the gel. She ended up fixing my two nails and doing gel with white tip for me. They started talking about me and made me feel bad. I understood they were HEAVILY complaining and annoyed. It sounded like mocking, insulting and comparing me to my friend. It seemed like what she wanted was more money. I wish if it was going to be that big of a deal she would've just done the acrylic ombré instead it wasn't worth being made to feel like an enormous inconvenience. The acrylic ombré would've also gotten her more money. I ended up paying $42 card + $20 direct cash tip. I usually like to leave a nice tip because people in the service industry really benefit from it. I don't think $20 was appropriate but she was just trying please me even though it came off very rude and uncomfortable. I saw other reviews that were honest and provide constructive criticism that we just bashed. Overall, they are fine ‍ if you don't annoy them and want elaborate extra $$$$$ nails. read more

The technician appeared upset. I mentioned I wanted to keep my length, but she got the clippers and cut my nails with the acrylic nails on (very painful) when removing the acrylic nails, she would pop them off didn't use solution at all. It was very painful, where I had tears. On two fingers I actually had blood...all she could say is sorry...when I was done she had the audacity to charge me and say I gave you 15% off for the next visit...I was so disappointed, angry not only because of the pain and how ugly she did my nails, but this person in one of there best techs (who I don't wanna say her name on this review). They will never see me again. I also sell jewelry on Facebook lives, so many people watch my lives and I had so many asked what happened, when I told them the story they couldn't believe and said they would not be going there. I went to get a fill (regular polish) and let me say I feel like they judge you if you don't get gel sand they don't give you the same service as if you were to get gel. Anyway, I asked the man doing my nails if he could fix one of the shapes on my nail cause it wasn't even with the other ones and he got an attitude and fixed it and then started doing the buffering pretty rough. And needless to say he didn't put a base coat first of clear polish and he rushed and polished them in 1 minute or less and they're not as neat as I would like them. What poo customer service. I have been well treated everytime I come in. I do RECOMMEND THIS SALON. It is also the only salon I have been to since I moved here that gives a punch card! VERY COOL! Before coming here I was a nail dipper. I found a color at a closer salon that was perfect. I dumped the extensions to make it simple. But the price was $12 more than I ever paid in WA State. I couldn't afford that kind of cost every 2-3 weeks! Seriously, to this minute, I don't understand why dipping the bare nail to get a smooth coat is now overpriced Then I want to leave a tip and feel embarrassed when I can't! I can't repeat this every 2 weeks! TWICE for feet and hands! Hey! Isn't every one here retired? Doing acrylic nails that bring length and shape is truly an artisan craft that takes training, talent, knowledge and time. When dipping was introduced it was SO SIMPLE, I was amazed. So, Shouldn't a person on a budget get a choice to lower a price at least by the amount of trouble it takes to put on? There is far less craft to dip a nail, no extension to place and no real artistry to knocking off the excess. At Volez Vous, I was reasonably charged, plus I got a punch card. Now I can give a tip, have my nails and not feel ripped off by the kind of greed that says, "I charge that much because I can, and people just pay it! If the people who can't, life is tough!"
