I learned of John by chance and was I glad!

One employee's brother then corrected him, stating that they actually did have DDR5 RAM available. Regardless, they could have tested my existing RAM on another computer or removed my motherboard and tested it on a different system--but they did neither. After charging me a $200 diagnostic fee, no meaningful troubleshooting was performed over a seven-day period. We had a computer screen hinge break on a brand new computer and couldn't find anyone to help us out (just outside of the warranty time period too). Luckily we were referred to this business so decided to give it a try! We were quoted a reasonable amount for parts and labor and told to come back in about a week once the parts arrived. I got a phone call they were ready to work on it, dropped it off, and about 4 hours later it was fixed and ready to be picked up! What?! Amazing! It looks brand new and we will most definitely be going back if anything else ever breaks, highly recommend this business. I was given a price estimate and told that they would not charge if they were not able to complete the repair. They sent a tech out the next business day. The technician was friendly and professional and really wanted to get my scanner fixed for me. However, he was very upfront with me about the fact that the problem was more involved than he had expected and it was going to take longer to fix. He called the home office and got me an updated estimate, which was twice the original quote. Considering that my piece of equipment is very old, I declined the repair. The tech was good-natured and understanding and did not charge me anything. He even stayed longer to tinker with it a little more, carefully put it back together, and advised me on how it could be repaired by anyone with mechanical intuition and time on their hands by opening it in a certain place to begin disassembly. He seemed to really care about saving me money and getting me the best possible outcome. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely use them again if I run into another problem I can't handle.
