She never say shit back the entire 3 years. And have this pissy vibe. I believe energy do change, and I always try to be bubbly, but I never was able to change the vibe from that one individual. Terrible service and poor communication by DONNA (chief of operations / a manager). DONNA speaks to Parents (Adults) in a very condescending and dominating manner, she talks over you, and felt the need to announce she is chief of operations 10 times during a call. Someone who allows their title/position to go to their head. When you stand up against the condescending attitude, she asks you to go elsewhere. This office could not get an authorization completed correctly, our insurance said it kept denying because this office left out duration time on the authorization request. This office also told us the Authorization process had to be completed by MAIL ONLY, and there were no other electronic options. We waited patiently for over 60 days for processing and response as it relates to the Authorization, only for me to run into someone like DONNA and then be told you have to go somewhere else because I wouldn't tolerate her condescending attitude. Just a complete waste of our time. But I appreciate the true reveal of this company's culture, because I would never be interested in doing business and paying money to people who are rude, who lack respect for others, and who are condescending towards others. read more

Nice office, nice staff, easy to make appointments. I would definitely check the billing and make sure the amount is the same as what is on your explanation of benefits. For both of my children, I was told I owed more and if I didn't question them, I would have paid more and not known any better. I was given a refund for the difference but I am leary because it happened twice. Also, their retainers are so flimsy and they easily break. They cost so much to replace too-- of course, it's done in-house. Since they moved to the new location, the wait can be terrible. Finally, I'm not too excited about the result of one of my child's teeth. We are considering going somewhere else to have them redone. read more

As far as Orthodontists go, Dr. Chen is the best! I'm a dentist myself, so I'm tough on my dental/medical providers, and Dr. Chen passes the test. I not only appreciate Dr. Chen's clinical knowledge, but the fact that he really cares about his patients! Dr. Chen is always kind, and I appreciate that he and the True Image Team inform and educate me on what's going on. I really enjoy that he talks to both parents and children with the same respect, and doesn't speak over the kiddos. The front office team is always very friendly and efficient. Bonus, they even have fresh baked cookies for you in the waiting room on the way out. The final reason True Image Orthodontics is the best; the amount of time, expense and energy they put pack into the Cypress community. Any dentist can be great with their own patients, but Dr. Chen goes beyond. I'd recommend them not only to my own patients, but my own loved ones. read more

Keep having issues with appointments and how stuff is conducted. My daughter was waiting on appliances and was supposed to get a call when they come in. I waited close to two months before I called and they informed me they had them in for over 3 weeks. Now I also have my son with them. Went in to get spacer for his mandible molars. Was told he did not need them and make another appointment for next month. Coming in for the his next appointment they made a mold for his appliances (instead of doing it last month). That day a made an appointment for both my daughter and son a month and half out to have them on the same schedule. Showing up today I find out it's only my daughter that has an appointment since my son's appointment was cancelled without my knowledge. This is starting to get frustrating and annoying. read more

Had an appointment at 3pm, got there a few minutes early (I'd say 2:57pm which is late as far as I'm concerned ) to be considerate of the orthodontist time. Well the door was locked but I could see people sleeping on the furniture. The receptionist said "We don't open until 3." So my daughter and I had to wait in the RAIN with another patient/customer until everyone finished their naps. When I asked why are there appointment exactly at 3 when you're not open for customers to wait in the "WAITING AREA" or at least let people out of the rain that are servicing your business, the response was "Because it's our lunch break." Then she was being facetious and says "Have a nice day!" On my way out! It took a lot of restraint not to turnaround and be a difficult customer! I understand they deserve and are entitled to a break but can someone think outside the box to at least keep the customers comfortable and dry?!? I wish I would have taken a picture of the employees laying across the furniture as we waited in the rain but I was too irritated to think about it. Why should I spend money in a place where I can't use the WAITING ROOM to get out of the rain 10 minutes before my appointment? read more
