Raymond's bakery is the most popular stand for good reason. I'm a huge sourdough fan but Raymond's is softer and less sour but still delicious. Handmade charcuterie boards, fresh vegetables and eggs, local honey, coffee, and even a massage table that you can book in 15 minute blocks. My favorite booth was one where you can sample various Labne and other middle eastern goods. The gentleman working there was so welcoming and excited to share his unique spreads and side dishes. The ambience is very relaxed and on brand of Santa Rosa. It's the perfect blend of weird and eclectic along with a focus on community and celebrating local vendors. I really love this market because it's so food-focused, which is like "duh" with all the beautiful farms in the immediate vicinity.. but many of the "farmer's markets" I visit at home in DFW are overrun with crafts, so it's nice to be at one that's truly focused on local farmers. We bought fantastic green garlic, onions, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, kiwis and bananas, apples, grapefruit and oranges, fresh rosemary, orange marmalade and cranberry pepper jam, a white lemon balsamic vinegar, our favorite Valley Ford farmers cheese, a lovely strip steak, and a bouquet of flowers to enjoy during our short visit. We thought the prices were great and even a bargain for the quality of food. And we got a little purple Healdsburg Farmer's Market t-shirt for Winnie!

Live music is playing, children are having fun at the water fountain, and the people are just chilling. The stalls and local shops are of great variety! There are some jewelry, crafts, Some cute keychains that my daughter was drawn into, pastry stalls, fruits and veggies and more! And something I urge everyone to try is the jar of sautéed onion and garlic at one of the booths. I literally have been putting it on everything. And for anyone with SNAP there is a booth there that will match you the first $10 for fruit and veggies and they can also use your card to give you tokens to use at the cold food booths like the popcorn, lemonade, hummus, and jarred goods.
